  2. Fantastic game day today, despite being on the definitive losing team and it being cold and wet! Saw me hold a corner by myself with my m14 for over half a game; must've been about 20 mins overall. Felt like a woodland version of Black Hawk Down (you know the scene...) when they finally got me because I was down to my pistol and surrounded since the rest of the team had capitulated by that point. Don't need a ghillie to be sneaky, was just in my DPMs with some scrim net draped over my head and shoulders. Some minor feeding issues, but not enough to detract from the overall day. Also, my VSR got fixed, so I'm back to using that hilariously quiet rifle. CO2 power + suppressor makes no noise whatsoever.

  3. Actually that is how you THINK it works... But in fact Whitehall try to influence the politicians They (Senior Civil Servants @ Whitehall) don't care who wins the GE not really, Whitehall simply gets new puppets to play with & pull the strings You might think this is bit far fetched, but suggest you watch some episodes of "Yes Minister" which many retired servants & politicians have said it was pretty accurate of how it all works

  4. I think the suspension of sales at TWG is to do with VAT/WTO as well as shipment delays at ports (potential tariffs/duty/VAT issues) Once clarification takes place EU deal/no deal (so called Sunday showdown) (what another final last chance date AGAIN) Things will start to settle down personally I think there will be an ARRANGEMENT than an agreement as such (like NI, loose (very loose 3~6 month) arrangement for internal markets bill) Anything ordered after 17th you won't get for Chrimbo and even then not deffo by New Year with Holidays etc.... 11th January is a bit OTT to resume orders, but there could be clarification req depending on WTO/VAT arrangements to third countries outside EU Which need to official clarification from Polish/EU officials about tax/VAT (depending on UK/EU position on 1st Jan) So as government/official offices won't be back on 2nd Jan but say a week later then official clarification on VAT & Customs on BOTH sides etc... TWG have issued a statement for Monday 11th than Monday 4th Could be clarified sooner, could be storm in a teacup, very little could change (depends on what is actually decided) Told ya in another thread get ya orders in early December and if ya missed out on 10%/15%| BF discount then looks like you will have to wait it out Could suggest that TWG are pushing for any sales asap, give fence sitters a kick up arse but hmmm really think it is about VAT/WTO issue & paperwork for shipping/customs etc...

Range and accuracy. Atm after few hours of playing its getting some range. The bbs are going up ad down been trying to to set the hop but it's not always perfect. Also looks like there is a tear on the rubber gun been used only 2 full days also on the second day bbs get stuck in the unit. Cheers for that I'll definitely have a look

  8. And just now 7:00am TWG announce last push for 10% discount #WINTER10 NB: if a gun has " NEW " in the description/pic the code does NOT WORK on it it seems (even if they have had the item in stock for fucking weeks - if it says NEW it may not work) eg: M904G - yup 10% off but M904E - nope no discount even though it was stocked before BF 15% offer (was thinking of buying the stock tube version £112 x .85 discount = £95 back then but thought nah... gotta draw the line as I'm out of hiding spaces now) Watch what you order - in case it has NEW in description and order in next 24/48 hrs as this thread originally stated as always be mindful of what/where you order from... US/Japan have nearly always been stopped by Customs imho Ordering from China late Jan (if it is awaiting stock) or early Feb can get hit by Chinese New Year (12th Feb I think) if the China crap is still in far east come then - you are gonna be in for a wait It's Christmas - the whole world is going nutz after a fucking crazy 2020 The MSM are going full throttle with the world is ending come 01/01/2021 & Brexit then in the next story... Shoppers are asked not to panic buy as no deal fear starts to spread... Ho Ho fucking Ho

  10. naff painjob, extra mag but boneyard, plus bonus internal damage. All available to you for 22 quid more than it is brand new on Taiwan gun, or a tenner more than it recently cost to have one shipped to my door. Oh, and you are expected to pay postage on top of that, so make that 20 quid more than a brand new one is shipped. I sometimes wonder whether people just get seriously ripped off buying these things new and somehow arrive at the conclusion that regardless of how much they are available from elsewhere they expect within a tenner of what they grossly overpaid for it. A second hand R36 is worth 80 quid in decent condition at best. And that's being kind.

  14. I’ve just received delivery of an item purchased from the US. Expected delivery time was 5 days. It took 32 days to arrive at my door due to significant delays with Customs checks, brought on by ports/airports and international couriers currently in chaos prepping for Brexit. If you’re thinking of order from overseas, I would certainly a) avoid the Christmas rush and wait until New Year before ordering; and b) be prepared to wait much, much longer for your item to arrive (and accept all the risks of loss and damage that come with that). Brexit isn’t only about price hikes on imports (from the EU). It’s about our borders being a hot mess for a long while to come. Enjoy that sovereign tea, eh ☕️

  20. What warranty do you get from a UK airsoft company...🤣 A cursory look at Negative Airsoft's videos will reveal the 'quality' of most UK Warranty 'repairs'. I would rather fend for myself and save the cash at the point of purchase.

  21. Loving my new holster setup, Kydex Customs mid drop, KC basic holster, DIY thigh strap. Access/pistol grip to draw is awesome, no flapping around even with full steel pistol, no chaffing from strap, and you can sit down without knowing there’s a pistol. Im sure many others have been and done this before, but to those who haven’t it’s a great setup.

  22. Brexit was cooked up by Tory backbenchers like Rees-Mogg to protect their investments from the upcoming EU tax evasion laws. It was never about independence or taking back control.

Classic meets modern. It's a shame I have to wrap it in scrim net and my leafy elastic rifle wrap thing as I love how it looks, but if I'm in my ghillie, so too does my rifle have to dress like a bush. Solved the issue of the RAS handguard kit tilting the scope up. Cut the part that fixes to the side of the receiver, as the top screw keeps it in place more than enough, and put on a normal scope mount that I know keeps the scope nice and straight. It's a workout gun though. Thing weighs an absolute tonne and is very front heavy thanks to the bipod, rail handguard and the m14 being front heavy in the first place. However, I'm very happy to have the bipod for when I'm in a hide and needing to keep this behemoth up and level. Yes, I actually use bipods while sniping.

Socom Gear Barrett M82A1 V1 semi-AEG - a LOT of steel on this monster, just the barrel and the muzzle break are made out of aluminum, the rest is steel. VERY heavy and came with upgraded gearbox and 650mm Madbull inner barrel from the factory. Always wanted to go for the Socom Gear M107 GBB instead, but somehow never got my hands on one. Now I'm thinking of parting with this M82 due to a few expensive new other guns, so if you're interested and willing to spend a lot of money, let me know This screams for an HPA conversion by the way ;)

    THE TM MWS thread

Maintenance: Now before i get into what i do, id like to point out that how i do it and what i use are not the only way of doing things. People use all sorts of different oils, grease and sprays to get the job done. As long as it's suitable for the job, all is well. Items: Wurth High performance dry chain lube (Teflon/ptfe spray) Wurth brake and chain cleaner Airsoft Engenuity cleaning rod Silicone oil paper towels Step 1: Remove the magazine and split the upper and lower by popping out the body pins. From there, remove the charging handle and bolt carrier group. Using the paper towel, wipe them down properly, including the channel on the underside of the charging handle. This is what mine looks like after one game day and a bit of testing. Step 2: With the moving parts cleaned, we need to move onto the upper receiver. There is no point cleaning the moving parts if the walls they're sliding against are still dirty, so wipe down the inner walls of the upper receiver as well as the grove that the charging handle runs in. Step 3: We're going to finish off the cleaning of the upper by cleaning the barrel. I use an Airsoft Engenuity Optirod because it holds cue tips at a slight angle instead of cutting little strips of tissue, but any will work just fine. I go in from the muzzle end and stop before the hop up so i don't disturb it or damage it in any way. Because i use propane, i don't get silicone oil or other crap all over the hop rubber. If you do, take a cue tip and gently push it inside and twist. you don't want to apply any sort of pressure because you're at risk of rotating the rubber ever so slightly or damaging it. Step 4: Moving on to the lower.. I have two processes that i do to the lower. One after every game, and one after every 5. The only difference is on the 5th clean i spray out the lower with brake/chain/carb cleaner. Because of how tight everything is packed in to the MWS trigger box its hard to completely clean it without removing it from the lower. with carb cleaner it will blast out all of the deposits and degrease the trigger mech completely. what will happen is the spray will run into the gaps and drip out of the trigger hole in the bottom of the lower. The spray evaporates in the air, so after about 30 seconds it will be bone dry, leaving behind a clear trigger box. For the daily clean, i just wipe down all visible surfaces with a cloth/ paper towel. In order to keep a reliable bolt lock, push the bolt release and clean the faces of the ZET plate when it lifts up. if you get crap between there, it can slow and not lock back reliably. Especially running green gas, which cycles the gun faster. Step 5: Everything is now clean, so we can start with the lube. There's lots of options out there but one thing that's important is this... SILICONE OIL IS NOT FOR METAL ON METAL PARTS. over time, silicone oil will make metal bind and is the exact opposite of what we want to do. Silicone oil is important, but only for sealing components. I use Wurth dry chain spray for 2 reasons. If it can lubricate and stand up to the temperatures of chain/sprocket contact on a 200mph motorbike, it will do just fine on our bolt moving 8" forward and back. The other reason is it isn't messy. it dries in the air and leaves a light film on the surface so it isn't going to get thrown around the inside of the gun. so give it a good spray and give it a few seconds to dry. Step 6: Back to the lower.. If you're using a spray like me, put your finger over the hop up entrance in the lower receiver and give the inside a quick spray with the lube. YOU DO NOT WANT ANY LUBE OR ANYTHING ELSE ON THE HOP RUBBER. If you're using a grease or oil, this is less of an issue (until you fire the gun and it throws it all in there anyway) Step 7: Spray your BCG and charging handle with lube. Pretty self explanatory so i didn't bother with a picture. What i do is hold the bolt by the nozzle with my thumb covering the underside of the nozzle. this stops any lube going into the nozzle chamber. Step 8: Last thing to do is lubricate the sealing parts with silicone oil. This step is only really needed if you use propane, as green gas should keep the sealing cup on the nozzle adequately lubed and i do this every 5 games. Pull the nozzle out and place a couple of drops of silicone oil between the nozzle and the BCG. On WE guns you can pull the nozzle out far enough to apple lube directly to the o ring, but you cant on an MWS without removing the nozzle, so this is as good as you can get. Like i said though, if you're using green gas, this shouldn't need to be done often. Step 9: Put it all back together because you're done!
