On a rather warm day a couple of weeks ago it chrono'd at around 260fps using 0.32g and Abbey Predator Ultra gas, which is fairly close to the limit so I'm glad I didn't go for a tight bore inner barrel! Apart from sourcing a Genuine Magpul Stock, Unity Tactical Mount and maybe an IR laser / torch I really don't think it needs anything else other than feeding with gas and bb's! Would genuinely consider buying another M4 MWS in the future to build a longer rifle or maybe wait out and see how TM's AKM MWS gets on, who knows!? Although I do keep looking at GHK 553's... indeed, i left a site recently because of their consistent failure to do anything about the standard of play. don't get me wrong, you're never going to escape from cheating/general douchery but a site you can have faith that telling the marshalls there's an issue will result in some form of action has value.

@E21A You seem to be on the opposite side of this argument than the others here. Have you stepped on an M14 lately?

it says a lot about sites round here that i have literally never been honesty shot by a marshall, or on-the-spot chrono'd 2 things i wouldn't mind, if anything it'd feel reassuring that it's being done.

indeed the first site i played at i kept playing at til it closed as the marshalling was so good. too reports of not hit takers seriously to the point the marshals would take vests off move to a position on accused and test fire on them and make reaction based on weither or not they took a hit giving a few chances then removing people sort of thing. i even got tested a few times(obviously not in limited life games) and constant reminders to players to stay within the rules etc. i prefer my marshals actively trying to improve game days...

This. If my club's president didn't care about such issues, or about hit calling or anything, I wouldn't be playing there for the rest of my life.

The only reason I made a Facebook account again is solely to check on airsoft sites as that is where they post the pictures taken on gamedays and it's easier to ask questions. Other than that I don't miss it one bit. Instagram was already starting tondrive me crazy so I turned that account into a work-only account and did a big purge of people I follow. (And then ofcoirse I made a 2nd account for airsoft only, which so far I only kinda regretted twice 😅) The big problem with Facebook is that everyone is on Facebook, which means that if you don't, it's more difficult to stay in touch with people you do want to stay in touch with.

Not exactly, I agree totally that the guy is a cockwomble! More so if it was intentional. I actually know of the person and was on site that day, didn’t witness it though. I take issue with people saying he’s a site regular so the rules don’t apply (in one way or another) and basing on the site because of what one individual did. Particularly as I’d bet 99% of people on this thread have never even visited the site.

I miss sites having old skool websites, having to travel through loads of mindless FB crap just to check on game dates etc is a total pita

This is the main reason why I'm struggling to get my ukara up & running again, so many sites I've visited just leave you feeling let down, poor marshaling & management, blatant cheating, & a general piss poor attitude & approach to running an Airsoft site.

No longer allowed to sell or hint at selling anything gun related on social media. It might not even be as log as 4-5 years ago, that you simply put a For Sale post up on Facebook and your stuff sold immediately. Even the forums where people used to flock to for their airsoft chat, have all but died away in popularity. I'm thankful that I planned ahead in keeping my gear limited, but that was mainly due to fear of the Scottish Government banning anything gun-shaped. @Rogerborg It's been about 4 years since I last played at Biohazard/WGC. Looking at how much gas and ammo I have left, I think I'll need to give it another visit to see how I feel about it as a possible option going forward. How did you find playing there? They currently have 11 spaces left out of 20 for Sun 27th Sep's game. UPDATE - Somehow I've got 2 Sundays off work in a row, so I decided to take the plunge and have booked indoor CQB at Biohazard on 27th Sep and woodland at POW on 4th Oct. I'll see how both go, given I haven't played at all since January and will decide from there whether I want to continue playing or hang up my guns for good.

Just arrived my maple leaf czjet 6.04x250mm barrel the increase was around 15fps on 0.3g (302/317fps)! But the TM inner barrels are beat down the most of the wonder-barrels (I just changed because I use ML buckings which are more compatible with the same brand at the barrel mouth), though Ive already tried that Promi/laylax 250x6.03mm on my previous mws really good quality but hadnt seen the big magic (same shaped barrel mouth as on the TM one) ! I hope its gonna serves you!

@Sitting Duck You fucking lied to me! Installed the 13:1 gears, didn't install the bearings as per my local tech's words "bushings are more reliable". Expected 20/21 RPS on a 7.4, chronoed at 27 point fucking 5 RPS and 0.9999999J (might nip half a coil off tho). Tis on a 7.4v 1450 mAh 20c.

This is why I don’t play facebook anymore. It’s full of bullshit ads, mostly narcissistic bellends and click bait. This is before we even get to those poxy algorithms. These only exist to save paying a person sift through all the shite that gets pumped through the place daily. This algorithm is too big and too dumb to realise what’s actually being said because, much like its creator mr fuckerberg, it’s not actually human. Probably don’t need me to tell you that the comment was harmless!

Sites that run entirely on Facebook, and only post their events to a "players" subgroup that you have to find, then apply to join. Are they trying to fail?

May sound harsh but I can't help but think the site should have advised that they'll give him the benefit of the doubt but he needs to cover the cost of inspection and repairs from a reputable tech as a gesture of good will with an alternative option of a site ban. I realise it's unenforceable but for me, if I were in that situation, I'd want to make sure that the guys gun was as it should be as an apology. This is assuming he didn't offer to do so already which, based off the information we have, doesn't appear to be the case.

The site had a talk with the guy, but no ban, because he sad it was not intentional.

Usual rule of thumb is 1 mah for each BB. so a 650 mah cell will shoot around 650 BB's Normal days skirmish is around 3000 BB's at our sites

Acquired a pair of pistols recently. The bisley is the one @HELIflipper03 sold recently, though I got it off the guy who bought it from him. It's like new. Other is a western arms longslide that I was selling for a friend and just ended up with myself. Both will be skirmished and both shoot very nicely. In fact I'd forgotten how nice Tanakas revolvers are.

I'd take one over two aaaany day personally, but beauty is in the eye. T-1 maybe, but I think the 30mm tube classic aimpoints overall have much too much volume/surface area for tiny SMGs I have to say.

Picked these two up from a boneyard. They supposedly had gas leaks but as far as I can tell they are perfectly fine. Only issue is the grip panel not staying on the bottom one as its missing the clip.

AirsoftPro M249 Hop chamber V2, ML Macaron 50, ML Nub and a SHS High Torque motor. I had to see it to believe it just how bad those A&K M249 hops were. Hopefully the V2 AirsoftPro is an improvement!

M-LOK bipod to go on the SCAR H rail

bought this with a few issues. Replaced the bevel gear, replaced the motor with a 25k one and fitted a Titan along with a bearing spring guide. shoots very well now and will get a run out this Sunday. Cosmetically replaced the boot stock and the only stock I had floating around was the green one but doesn't look to bad in my eyes.

Again its not a special gun, but love how my Glock 17 is looking now

Bought a broken SCAR L CQB recoil and after a bit of TLC it's back up and running. Upgrades are in the post. I'm toying with fitting the angry gun stock pipe but can't make up my mind on which stock to fit.

My G&G RK74-E painted in Patrizan/SS Leto camo. My first attempt with rattle/spray cans. Used the Landscape-camo stencil kit. Unfortunately not an exact colour match to my chest rig. The tan/sand colour is a little too light but I'll dull it down and dirty it up to match and the green is slightly darker on the gun. But I'm happy with my first and only attempt at this sort of thing.
