Fuck!! Worst i got was cqb down the tunnels. I really got hosed from about 30ft/10 new fangled stupid meters straight to the face.Not malicious just wrong place wrong time.My face was a mess and upon further investigation one bb had set up home deep in my bottom lip. Couldn't moan cause it was my choice not to wear face pro.☹ Wife made me sleep in spare room so I didn't bleed on pillows! Lol Regards

Picked up this G&P Magpul M4 with a locked up gearbox/trigger and missing stock and stock tube. Snagged it for 50 quid! Completely stock but with Magpul receiver, Pistol grip, handguard and foregrip. Do you guys think it's Foliage Green or Olive Drab? I am thinking the former myself. Cracked it open, seems that the cocking lever spring has been overstretched so the bolt cover won't spring back as it should. The selector plate was broken in half. One of the gearbox shell screws was overtightened and I had to drill it out. In the gearbox I found the spur gear shaft completely sheared off and the motor pinion well worn. Replaced the spur gear, Air seal was OK, but I switched out the full cylinder for a 4/5ths as well as a new piston and cylinder head (which had to be modified to fit the gearbox protrusions) Seems to be working OK if a little bit tight sounding. Going to grab some parts from AK2M4 to get her really purring, as well as a stock tube and stock. The intention is to have a full set of M4A1 and Magpul furniture to switch between. Full auto blast to the face at 10ft if that ? Was wearing mesh mask and glasses so no facial tissue injuries BUT unfortunately for me as it was late January and colder than the mother in law’s heart the ambient temp was below zero which affected my prescription inserts and made them ever so slightly brittle I discovered later . So because this twat hosed me at such a short distance the impact of the BBs from his HPA’ed gun(thank you for proving the assumption of HPA players ?)running at a gazillion rps caused the Lense of my glasses to flex which transferred the energy from the impacts to the insert making one of them shatter and propelled all the shards of plastic in to my eye ! I was incredibly lucky not to cause any serious damage as I stopped my self from rubbing my eye as you’d automatically do . Went to local hospital , couple of hrs carefully getting all The bits out of my eye and thank f**k no permanent injures suffered .

Almost broke my leg assaulting a position...leg bent the other way when caught on a tree stump sticking out that I never noticed. Couldn't walk for about 30mins.. Marshall wanted to stop the game, I said no and to keep the game going (We were winning) and checked my rifle for damage whilst on the floor in a lot of pain.. Massive swelling and bruising only thankgod. (Broke both my legs on Motorbike trip in the USA a few years earlier...thought of break them again..argh!!)

Hi all, Just bought my MWS CQBR and waiting for delivery, safe to say I'm excited! So my questing is: what else do I need? I'm thinking about trying to get away with 4 mags because i have a pistol and I'll just carry a speed loader and bag of BBs (am poor now lol). Will this be enough? Also, what gas do I need to use and what FPS will that give, what lube etc? Is there anything I need to know? Not bothered about upgrading and happy to just run stock but want your advice on how to look after it!

Mag-wise, I can only speak from personal experience • TM mags - feed and hold gas. • KJ/Nov mags - feed, CO2 mags leak and the gas mags had wildly inconsistent outputs for me. •AW mags - hold gas fine but router doesn’t seem to seal all that well with elite/aip nozzles. • Guarder mags - super lightweight. Fill valves are good quality. Had some feed issues that required filing of the inside bottom of feedlips. Bit wobbly in some grips. • WE mags - feed reliably and gas tight but (not sure if psychosomatic) seemed to cool down quicker than the TM. The WE ones should be absolutely fine, the cool down issue is likely a non issue if you’re planning on running the stock TM slide

I have one of their 370mm inner barrels in my MRE and had no issues whatsoever. 👍

Counselling really worked for me, struggled for a long time after I got out and found off loading really helped, although I always struggled thinking that my problems were small and irrelevant to others. But seeing a counsellor made me see that actually my issues were important not only to me but others. I would always say to anyone struggling with their mental health is to reach out as there is always help even if it’s on a forum full of jaded old boomers 😜

Got rid of the horrible black chinstrap , made a new more accurate one in Olive . happy now(ish) ! One does so hate being a Geardo ! 😁

Agreed, but at the time ( 20 odd years ago, it was the only thing that worked. Having not slept for 2 months, my GP at the time offered me a choice. Get sectioned or take temazapam. So, Temazapam it was. Along with Diazapam when required. These days thankfully, its just the Sertraline.

part can be found here: LINKY I printed in PLA at 100% infill and it seems fine. You can try ABS or some of the fancy infused PLA's for added strength. Here's a comparison between the stock Marui and mine.

cause I'm awesome I just printed 1 out at 100% infill and tried it and it is a drop in fit. No issues as far as I can see and I'll stick a link up for thingiverse a bit later once I upload it.

Specna Arms Rock River Arms SA-C06 CORE all dressed up with no where to go. Changed the flash hider for an Epsilon 556 VG6, the plastic stock tube for a metal one added a different stock and slapped a short Bipod, short Dot Scope and angled iron sights on for a DMR set up. Not sure about the irons .... maybe angled ris mount and back up RDS would look better instead?

Raptor, I have a VFC 19X and tried it on some Abbey gas. It didn’t like it a bit. I run it on Nuprol Red in the cold and it works a treat. No issues with feeding or consistency. CBH

Totally agree calling someone a fag is no longer acceptable, those days are gone and that kind of language and behaviour should no longer exist but you REALLY need to lighten up mate , when you start getting ‘offended’ by very slightly non PC humour your setting your self up to be ridiculed . What one person finds ‘offensive’ the next person may not , or even if someone may be incredibly offended by something yet the next person is far from offended by it . It’s all subjective , in the end when society as a whole and not just a small group decide something is no longer acceptable then it can be regulated not before . Got hit quite close range on the eyebrow between hat and eyepro. May have been a hot gun because it drew blood which dripped down into my eye. Didn't leave a cool scar tho 🤨😄
