Hahaha that's awesome! But clearly the first NVG-enabled IR tac light predated 1779!?

That's awesome! I recently got an M-LOK Musket with foregrip, and a Blunderbuss with a PEQ laser on it, gonna be sick with this chest rig. Love that camo too, the green bits on the sleeves will help in a woodland environment. Personally I'm a big fan of this genuine Navy Seal plate carrier, in maritime red (Because Navy) and comes with foam inserts and buckle.

Shall we get back on topic? Getting a bit political now, and this thread is about showing off our gear and loudouts! 😎

Not much use for ECBA at sea either, unless a warship is going to shoot you with 9mm..!
-
There would be a bit of irony on the married patch if an MP turned up, pretending to me a policeman to deal with a Realistic Imitation Firearm. 🤣
-
Nobody likes the ECBA! I'm not surprised 😂 I remember a load of RAF guys were wearing them on a herc on the way to Bastion from KAF, like they were in the 90's or something! This was only in 2010! Last time I've ever seen somebody wear one to be honest.

Jpc With That Annoying Velcro Admin Pouch? Mod it!
Dacks_18 replied to Dacks_18's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
That's a good idea, I'll remember that. Ah, I gotcha. You knew what I meant though! 😂 basically steering clear of the super-cheap clones with stitched fabric for shoulders. Next mod will be an easy one - kangaroo pouch kydex insert! -

Jpc With That Annoying Velcro Admin Pouch? Mod it!
Dacks_18 replied to Dacks_18's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Yeah, it has - but I just wanted to be helpful and share how it can be done, rather just posting a pic saying "I did this". It's easy, it doesn't have to cost anything and yeah you can buy them pre-made on AliExpress but it's up to the individual if they want to pay money and wait weeks. Anyway, enjoy. -

So, just bought a Viper JPC (Fakes are really good nowadays, but anything without the hypalon shoulder material isn't worth it) but I couldn't help but notice how annoying and useless the top admin pouch is! Makes loads of noise, it's in an inconvenient area for the amount of force required to open it etc etc, meaning you never use it (Each to their own, respectfully). So I took apart an old pouch laying around, just wanted the zip. (I only removed the front pocket, so the pouch itself is still actually intact) carefully removing the front pocket with a stanley knife gently blading the threads; Until I got the zip. Now I measured the velcro to be 155mm on the JPC, with the whole pouch width to be 190mm, so I cut the zip down and stitched a few million cross-stitched across the zip tightly (To prevent the zipper leaving the track) and then put some super glue over the threads to harden them up. Then I used double-sided velcro to apply to the material, just to hold it in place whilst stitching it; Stitching looks bad here but I took more time on it after the photo, frankly though it doesn't have to be perfect, it won't be under load or stress, and you can always touch it up with super glue. Worth noting, after stitching across the zip and cutting the excess off with scissors I burnt it with a lighter to melt the end, and then went around the edge of the whole cloth with a lighter to stop it fraying. This is before; And this is after; Hopefully this helps somebody! I would probably have used dark velcro if I had some but honestly you can't see it, I've shown in the picture you need to peer down my chin(s) to see it, but you can just stick the zipper mod down lower in the JPC's pouch to make it non-visable. Cheers!

Found this online and thinking of using this as a plate carrier. Obviously I'll spray it camo first, I'm not a idiot. #AllyAsFuck

Plenty of people can tell you how it feels to their body type, and they can tell you how it looks in their opinion - but really it's just down to you. Buy stuff, make mistakes, and learn from them. End of the day, it's Airsoft, it is something we enjoy and it isn't life or death so it really comes down to two things; A) Does it feel good? B) Does it look good? We dress up all fancy and play soldiers so looks is definitely a factor 😎 Feel cool wearing it. So plate carrier, chest webbing, battle belt - whatever you like 😎
