AND in the great tradition of airsofters NEVER being happy with anything kit wise , was looking at the new AUG and thought “I know it’s a para so it’s ment to have a really short barrel but I ‘think’ prefer the look of the carbine” so one TM 416 barrel extender later and all is well in the universe , for now ! 😂

Rocking Ranger Green at Ace Combat a week or so ago.

The attached pics are the 90s US federal agent field kit/80s-90s general special forces kit with the completed Colt SMG build. Ngl, it's incredibly comfortable to use and maneuver with. If I sling the strap around the back of my neck, I can alternate between two-handed tasks and still properly shoulder it with one hand.

So nailed a new job... a lot money... means more guns 😍

Saturday night I started obsessing about the HK45 again (thanks to Murtaugh's USP). Went to skirmish on Sunday, where they had a retailer stall. Lo and behold they had an HK45 ready to go. I asked how much and if they took card payments. Decent price and yes they did. I wandered off and went pewpew. At the end of the day, I'd packed all my kit up and was just about to get in the car. Got out again and brought this home with me: Some things are meant to be 😂😂

Oh yes most definitely ‘speshal’ ! 🤣🤣 this one has had the @Iceni trigger bar mod already done to it so its got ‘safe,semi and auto’ if I want just semi only for each pull of the trigger , which is nice ! 😆

This is my local site, I find its a blast the cqb is very fast and up close. As you say @Asomodai having lunch included is very nice and I think worth the little extra you have to pay. The outside doesn't have the long range of many sites, but this does mean that you are always in range. Just comes down to accuracy and how good a shot you are, or just how windy it can be ha ha. @Robert James it's just 20mins from mine to give you a bit a better time to travel estimate.

This is why I own 3 of the same rifle with different barrel lengths and tops.

GHK platform TM Recoil platform

My WE M4 GBB Open bolt with an upgraded crazy jet inner barrel and rear pop up sight (facing the correct way). We 1911 with wooden hand grip.

I realise it still works as is but you’ve got your rear sight on back to front , if you turn it around , push it right to the back of the rail and fold it down over the charging handle you’ll get a lot more accurate shots out of it than you will the way you currently have it .👍

Believe it or not, I have some historic justification for the grip. Back in 'nam when the Xm177 was hot, it was a popular mod for an operator to take a surplus pistol grip, sand it down, and then take some form of nut fastener to it and basically make it a foregrip. The one I chose I picked since it resembled a pistol grip they'd attach. The entire kit is modeled around sort of a surplus/classic operator mod basis. Pic related

They have a neck inside them that is adjustable elastic easy to access or restrict the size of it to stop bouncies getting out 👍

After upgrading the ARX160s short outer barrel to the long barrel kit and switched from the stock 250mm barrel to 404mm ZCI 6.02 barrel, the FPS leapt up by 30 to 365. As it was a quick change system I installed a particularly strong example of an M90 spring, which brought it down to 346FPS. Sounds like perfect compression to me. Amazing for untouched stock compression parts on £105 RIF.

Finally got the longer outer barrel through from Hong Kong for the ARX160. Didn't realise the old short one was plastic and the new long one is proper heavy metal. Took the opportunity to install a new ZCI 400mm 6.02 inner barrel and Prommy purple bucking. The hop unit is very basic and doesn't use a traditional nub, but much like the G36 SRC unit it uses plastic/metal as a nub. Cant wait to try it out!

New slr rail 😍. Got a prommy barrel and red shark bucking on the way so hopefully it'll shoot straight too.

It's probably the stock. It's a lot shorter than the previous QRS stock that came with it. Likewise the stock is also of a cheaper material than the QRS polymer, but it's sturdy as hell. UPDATE! I have finally got my magazine converter in. Likewise I've done some updating to it. What's new: Shortened Rail Covers More Period-Correct Front Post Magazine Adapter! Field Expedient Sling In the future I'm looking to replace the trigger guard with a more classic style type.

rocking the new M16 at black ops Portishead yesterday , and loving it ! Considering it’s a ‘cheap’soft’ gun had some cracking kills with it and as the day went and it started bedding in the range was creeping further and further out .👍

Yup. I cannot abide by the " oh they will be here in a few weeks" line that keeps getting repeated. Not answering emails or FB messages (You can see they have been read...) is plain ignorance and is possibly the reason that you need to keep phoning them as it is pretty much always engaged.

It is indeed the stubby 1873 @Rogerborg I'm inclined to believe the 2-3 week wait is genuine. I had asked my local shop about getting me one in, but they said a 3 week wait as this shipment is still in HK. I am assuming this is the same shipment that Extreme Airsoft are waiting on... So we'll see. I'm in no real rush for it, but if they have not got back to me with an update by week 2 (or 3 depending on how generous I'm feeling) it's getting cancelled and my local will get one in for me - as I have made clear to them in my email.

Yeah good advice, I missed out on a crazy deal of £250 for the CA M249 para from Fire Support because of holding out for Extreme Airsoft to come through.

Mines still on order. For me it wasnt so much about the money - its now turned into a betting game between me and a friend about if theyll ever come in haha.

Update: So my order was placed on the evening of the 15th august for a rifle that was marked as in stock and ready for dispatch. Phone call from them on the 16th to say sorry, but it is actually on back order. Should arrive in 2-3 weeks, did I want to wait and they would sort out a free gift or something as a sorry, or did I want a refund. I said I would wait, only if they knew there were definitively getting them in in that time frame. "Yes, they should definitely be here by then" Fast forward 3 weeks... They have ignored my various emails and Facebook messages asking for an update, so I phoned them this afternoon. No apology and barely let me speak on the phone. Simply kept repeating "there are loads of folk waiting on A&K goods, they wont be here for around 2 -3 weeks" I've asked for a refund, which apparently can take 3-5 days to come through. I doubt I will use them in future.
