  3. I like the way he’s using an advert where you can buy it new for £110 as justification for saying it’s £170 new. No constructive argument against the questions raised so just goes straight to insults - classic move that. Think his ex is better off rid.

  5. This one is so "good", it needs a second mention, these were pretty crap when new (compared to the TM), this example is a pile of bolloxed shite, numerous faults & jerry rigged bodges, & a seller who won't even consider any aspect of his thread is flawed, especially the price lol, & responds with attitude. Some people just don't get it, if you want to bullshit or con people, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO DO IT.

    AEG has gone limp

a possible culprit and easiest check would be the hop rubber and nub - ie make sure they're intact and fitted correctly.

  10. Anyone else like drawing concept art to get a general idea of what a build might look like? I recently made this one for my current build. This one is a full concept art but sometimes I just photoshop parts together. It's a good way to see if things fit. Edit: The quality dropped in the attached file, here is a higher resolution version and a closeup of the Torch and NGAL, which I now see says "DFA" instead of "FDA" https://i.imgur.com/1an3EeZ.png https://i.imgur.com/PS2tzVW.png

  14. It appears you're the one with trouble reading. The 60% is if the gun is in good condition which this clearly isn't, and yes your repair is done badly as zooming into the picture you can see it isn't even lined up properly. As for paying £170 for it, where from? Just because you were ripped off doesn't mean you can rip off others. Go have a look at the Mack's thread and you'll see I'm not the only one who thinks you're taking the piss If you want it to sell you need to price it appropriately

  15. I did wonder what the point was of listing those prices. Many of them are closer to failing now than they would have been brand new. The argument of it being out of stock to justify the price is quite the reach. I don't imagine there is much demand for a less than cosmetically sound or fully functional RIF that had a low retail price to start with. He probably saw that because the TM SPAS-12 with the folding stock is hugely valuable now it's discontinued, he could therefore price his broken MP5K accordingly as it's also discontinued.

  22. I may be self-reporting for deviancy here, but the only thing I really hanker after is... [looks around guiltily]... a P-90. Definitely a self-report here: whenever an armed Tricia Helfer is on screen, all I can focus on is her super-strict discipline.

  23. Bullshit are these £170 new, 30 seconds on google shows they're maximum £120 with most prices around the £100 mark and in stock. A general rule for second hand sales is 60-70% off the retail price if in good condition which yours certainly isn't. The fact that the body is knackered and repaired badly, along with the fact that it fires in full auto no matter what position fire selector is in, knocks even more off

  24. Not quite. All parts are traced. I trace it like this since an outline like this looks much cleaner than photoshopping parts together. A slightly tricky part however is the scale. I add a properly scaled ruler to the workpiece as a reference.

Good one, you should try a job in comedy You've been told multiple times that your asking way more than the gun is worth. If you can't accept that maybe you're wrong then that's your problem not mine

Realised I had the parts to make something interesting. For your consideration: an alt-history Olive Drab AR-15 Dissipator build. Imagine the chopped short M16s from the Vietnam-era became standard issue all the way to the A4 variant. Then make it a lovely military-ish green. Recently a real steel Dissipator (that's an AR-15 with a 16 inch barrel and a full rifle-length gas system) was released for sale by Anderson Arms, and this video popped up on my YouTube feed. I really love the full-length-but-shorter look of a Dissipator, and I think sticking on an A2 handguard and a full stock makes it look a lot more military than the Magpul equivalents I had on it previously. What do you think?

  29. Sp because you paid way more than it's worth you're going to rip off someone else. But I suppose if everyone else here doesn't agree then they're all wrong and you're right. Good luck selling it

  30. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/c02-powered/socom-gear-barrett-m107-co2-shell-ejecting-replica_i51565 It sounds really good, up until "THE GUN CURRENTLY DOES HAVE SOME WORKING ISSUES AND DOES NOT FIRE." Considering when they was available at retail they was £1,799.99, £3k for a glorified wall hanger seems ever so slightly "dreamer" to me. Are they really that desirable for somebody to cough up £3k for a dodgy airsoft gun?

  31. The A2 style carry handle upper is the one hole in the GBB AR market. As a collector and an AR fan, there’s a gap in my collection that I would like to fill relating to early GWOT builds. Especially the M16/M203 combo.

  32. Although I've not taken the plunge myself, I was tempted based on how frickin cool the Gary Gordon/Danny Archer CAR-15s are. I suspect that, plus Larry Vickers are the root causes.

  33. Off the top of my head, there’s 3 guns I’d really like at the moment, obviously GBB’s: VFC MP5SD VFC M110K1 A GBB M16 or M4 with the A2 solid carry handle. Edit Also a full weight GBB M249. The feel of the VFC version is just wrong.

  34. I'm looking at a Licensed M4, and I'm torn between the Umarex H&K 416 or the Cyma EMG DD M4A1. They both look great, perform well but CYMA is cheaper and the QBS and internals are highly praised. Also CYMA is cheaper. I have heard bad things about both (including horror stories about the CYMA) so advise would be great!

  35. It doesn’t mean something isn’t biodegradable, it just means a lack of awareness of what biodegrade is and the general use of the term to mean degradable If it requires light then it’s degradable but not biodegradable and is also unsuitable for the woods If it degrades underground, then once trodden in it will eventually degrade Depending on the fine print and to what standards it’s defined deems how suitable it is for a site If micro plastics are left then strictly speaking it should not be called biodegradable in the UK (I’m unsure if that’s in the legal parts of the standards or just a ‘should’ In that case any ‘biodegradable’ BB is better left as plastic in the ground then just plastic which could expose micro plastics into the environment Or of course play paintball and leave food grade gels in the woods instead

    What do you truly desire...

I'd love a Type 89 that ran off a standard V2 or V3 gearbox and took standard AEG parts. No need for mechanical 3-shot burst now that Peruns and Gates are a thing.

  40. For the XPS3 clones, get rechargeable CR123As from eBay. This seller does 1 battery + a charger for under £10 - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255389518441 (A) I got this and am pretty happy so far. It's nice to know that, for a one-off cost, I don't need keep a stock of batteries on hand just to make sure I can always run the holo sight on game day. And you can always recharge off a powerbank!

  42. Both of my current augs are ABS, I have never seen a nylon variant. Never had a flimsy feeling aug body tho. The AEG variants feel less dense, but they don't generally have a flimsy feeling. ABS is far more impact resistant than nylon, and doesn't scuff and scratch as easily. It's also far easier to injection mould with ABS as it's not a material that is prone to absorbing water, unlike nylon. And ABS also suffers less casting warping. As such I don't think you will ever see a nylon AUG. If you are looking on a budget the olive snow wolf/JG models are about as close to a mil spec variant as you will see. https://www.zerooneairsoft.com/products/Snow-Wolf-AEG-Aug-Olive https://www.zerooneairsoft.com/products/Snow-Wolf-AEG-Aug-M-Olive

  43. Been researching different gas pressures for my TM MWS. Usually using ASG Ultrair (beige bottle) and found this handy video comparing different gasses. “Airsoft Mike” Youtube video shows the following (amongst others): Nuprol 1.0 - 320fps ASG Ultrair - 345fps V6 - 365fps V8 - 375fps Nuprol 3.0 - 375fps Obviously it will vary from platform to platform but a handy guide to, in the words of “Play Your Cards Right”, higher or lower? 😁

  44. Pouch, 100 round / 100 round utility 2 pals columns but actually 3x3 space wise. These are two distinct names but functionally the same. A nylon box with reinforced sides, much like an ALICE mag pouch. The lid fully enclosed the top and is secured with a side release buckle, drain grommet in the base. The utility pouch comes in USMC coyote Brown. A solid general purpose pouch that will fit an IFAK. They were issued in pairs as part of the SAW gunner setup along with two 200 round pouches. 200 round saw gunner pouch A bigger brother to the above pouch that will hold a 200 M249 drum. There are a couple of NSN’s for these as well. 4x4 pals. These make a good addition to a pack as they are just a little smaller than a sustainment pouch. They will hold 6xUSGI M16 magazines or a 100-150 rounds of 7.62 link. Venture surplus likes his saw pouches (the FLC).

  45. A 75-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk. The Receptionist said, 'Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?' 'There's something wrong with my dick', he replied. The receptionist became irritated and said, 'You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that.' 'Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,' he said. The Receptionist replied; 'Now you have caused some needless embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.' The man replied, 'You should not ask people questions in a roomful of strangers if the answer could embarrass anyone.' The man then decided to walk out, waited several minutes and then re-entered. The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, 'Yes??' 'There's something wrong with my ear,' he stated loudly. The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. 'What is wrong with your ear, Sir?' 'I can't piss out of it,' he replied.

  46. Be careful tying to get as close as possible to 350fps because chrono readings do vary so it might show higher on theirs. Does that CYMA have a full metal tooth piston rack? If not its more likely to strip ...and 28rps in definitely in wanker territory
