  1. I keep seeing Doom-posting like this hence why I can't make up my mind. Alot of ppl talk have said bad things about WE and AA but now they are recommending these brands. Everyone seems to presume anything except a TM will explode after a week. Surely for the prices and brands I'm looking at, I'm avoiding a bed-shitting scenario? After this price point it's Novrisch and the the Agent 2 which I am waaaay too poor to even think about! Holster Queen, haha! Yeah I'm not thinking of running a pistol primary - just something for CQB/indoors when my M4A1 is a bit too big for the job. I guess my problem is I'm looking for guarantees in a hobby where stuff can just blow up, hence why I'm reluctant to stand behind either one.
  2. The gas isn't really an issue for me as I dig the realism and need to reload. I'm even considering the EMG STI DVC 3 GUN as a middle-ground between the classic 1911 looks and the high-capa functionality.
  3. So the answer to the question is neither; GET A TM! I was really considering the aesthetics and reliability and I was going to get the NWWH but the TMs kept popping up. Nighthawk is TM spec and the plastic on TM is a put-off (I know it looks great and aids performance but this is a hobby for me not a competition). Reeeeally considering the 5.1 TM though. One last thing: can I put a suppressor on the TM?
  4. I come to you as Romeo with his heart torn betwixt a fair Rosaline and Juliet! Which one should I go for? Cast you vote and help this innocent little olive find his true GB-Bae this Christmas! Seriously, I think they are both gorgeous and I love the 1911 design so on looks they are equal. I'm not concerned with power, so it really comes down to reliability, build quality. (So I just watched a video where the guy swapped the lower on the Warhawk with a High-Capa lower so I think my mind is made up but still want to see what y'all think!)
  5. My opinion of AA has been entirely informed by comments from YouTube and reddit and forums. I read so much before buying a gun that half the time the Internet convinces me to give up airsoft ing completely, never mind buying a gun!
  6. So should I get the mags that come with the r608 then? Honestly I was going to get them since I've heard less-than-stellar things about SRC. The gun is gorgeous, but the reputation is not. Oh well, the AA r608 mags have the TT baseplate, so that me happy!
  7. I pounced on the M4A1 MWS GBBR when I saw it sitting pretty at £450. Great deal for a phenomenal gun!
  8. Fingers firmly crossed that TM does the upcoming XM7 the US Army is replacing the M4 with. Trying to hold out for that whilst these M4 beauties are tempting me!
  9. Tell that to my wallet! I've already bought 2 extra mags for Baba Yaga and then I saw the AA and it was love at first sight! I'll probably get the mags anyway since they have the Taran Tactical trades which look kinda cool.
  10. I want to get a AA R608 Hi Capa and I already have mags for a SRC Baba Yaga. Both are green gas so I want to know if my Baba Yaga mags will work in the AA. If anyone could shed some light on this you'd make me much poorer once I decide to either buy the gun or buy it with several mags! Thanks!
  11. I've recently purchases a TM M4A1 MWS and I can't see myself going back to AEGs as primaries. It would kinda feel like changing the difficulty in a game from 'hard' to 'easy' - or that's how I feel anyway. I still have my AEG as a back-up though.
  12. Yeah the bulle stuff looks great and affordable. Honestly I've been thinking about making an investment in Warrior Assault gear which I have been led to believe is really good - and it comes in black! Surely Warrior is a safe bet?
  13. From what I've seen regarding reviews these kits are fine and no one complaining they fall apart or anything. BBs aren't going to destroy these things, so why do people act like we need to be nuclear-proof? I'll definitely look at these links though, but not looking to prepare for war in Ukraine when my biggest worry is getting a bit dirty!
  14. I've looked around on Ebay and I don't fancy paying silly money for 2nd hand that I need to build all over again I'd rather throw that kind of money at guns and attachments tbh! Just looking for something reliable and hassle-free with plenty of real estate. As for comparing them to real carriers, I'm quickly finding out that comparison is the thief of joy and money in this hobby, haha!
  15. I need help! Can't decide between a Yakeda 1000D rig or the Invader Gear Mod Combo rig. I'm trying to maximise mag capacity and storage whilst maintaining a low profile that allows for additional attachments if I need them. Both are great for the price, but I am thinking of getting the Yakeda rig with the belt, with would be cheaper than the Mod Combo rig. Any/all considerations appreciated!
