  1. Why do these always come up when I’m broke 😩
  2. That does actually look pretty good. Not normally a fan of this kind of thing but on semi, that does look decent 😎
  3. Escape from Tarkov if you want an adrenaline rush
  4. Will drop them and email and see if they have anything on the horizon. Looking at the price on the Fire-Support website, looks like the ICS might be a little over budget, especially considering I will need to get a few mags etc. but the burst fire might be quite nice to have… 🤔 I see. Good to hear they’re making a comeback, and hopefully their new stock will be of the same quality as the old, tried and tested units 🤞 I think this might be the way to go if I can’t justify stretching to the ICS - it’s within budget, so allows for a few mags and a couple new batteries, and maybe a few extra little niceties… Parts look to be pretty easy to get hold of like you say.
  5. Interesting, I will have to look into these. Any idea when they might be available again? A little over my budget from first glance but may be worth the extra for the superior materials. This is the exact thing I would like to try and avoid. I’ve not come across Classic Army before (probably my noobishness), so will certainly have a look into these. I’m guessing you would place this somewhere in the middle between the ICS and say the Cyma offerings?
  6. Likewise. I really shouldn’t, but they’re just so freaking cool! I must own one! 😆
  7. I probably should have specified an AEGs, although that may well be self explanatory given my budget 😞 Thanks for the recommendation, will go and have a look at these 🔍
  8. Evenin’ all. I’ve been trying to ignore the urge but it’s just inevitable…I need an MP5 in my life, so come the new year (when I’ve hopefully recovered from the financial stress of Christmas) I will be buying one. But which?! Ideally I’d like a full metal A5 variant with the sliding stock. Will be looking to build it up with a slightly modern twist - thinking m-lok hand guard to allow for a light and stubby fore grip, suppressor, top rail with RDS etc. so needs to be a model that will be compatible aftermarket accessories. The obvious choice would be the TM NGRS MP5A5. I know you get what you pay for and it will be the most realistic option with the ‘recoil’ and the dead click on empty, but I think the TM is going to probably out of my budget unless I can get a good deal on one second hand. Ideally don’t want to spend more than £300 (even that could land me in the dog house 😬😂). So I guess my question is, what would your recommendations be given the above criteria? Seems there are a lot of options out there and I’m still relatively new to the the hobby, so still learning which brands/models are worth bothering with and which aren’t. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏
  9. I’ve got a pair of Walker Razors and they’re fantastic. Proper active hearing protection. They do have a line-in socket so you can pipe your incoming comms into your ears, but would need a PTT with a mic for sending.
  10. I currently have the Feyachi mentioned above and it’s spot on for the money. Just upgraded to an Sig holographic clone as it suits my needs/play style better.
  11. Pretty generic budget red dot which should be perfectly adequate for some weekend skirmish action. Not expensive so a pretty good place start and fine out what you do or don’t like in an optic. Only thing I would say is that you may find that you want a riser for it as, depending or what face/eye protection you use, you may find it hard to get your check low enough to get a good sight picture.
  12. Thanks for all the info there. Really helpful stuff. So I think I’m going to measure my buffer with some verniers and see which option will be best and then have a hunt around for something along the lines of the S.I stock.
  13. That looks like something I could get on with… will have a look for a cheap clone. As you say it’s the battery storage that’s the problem with the minimalist stocks. Just bought new batteries too… 🤦‍♂️ This is another thing, I don’t want to spend money on something that’s going to rattle like a MF… What’s the deal with mil-spec stuff?
  14. Yeah as far as I know it’s a standard m4 style buffer tube so most things should fit, trouble is, there’s so much choice that it’s hard to know what’s good. So many knock offs, and knock offs of knock offs… Just looking for a bit of inspiration and/or recommendations really. If all else fails, I’ll use your previous suggestion 😆 That ultra lite looks pretty tasty but not sure how battery friendly it would be 🤔
  15. Well it is airSOFT after all 💁‍♂️🤣 Yeah the look of the SPR stock is another reason for wanting to changing it up. Same goes for the charging handle…great RIF but let down by a few cosmetic bits in my opinion. Will have a look at the the ones you suggested. Definitely prefer a sliding option if possible. Yeah, I agree the M904G stock does look a bit flimsy but I’ve got to say, the quality of M904E as a whole seems excellent for the money!
