I usually wear a crotched prayer cap and a sweat band that gets changed two or three times a day. Think I'll possibly re-think the idea. generally i'd just leave it as-is, mock suppressor is fine for looks but you shouldn't need the inner barrel inside it if it's not clipping. indeed it's a boon if you wanted to put a tracer unit inside the suppressor to keep the shorter barrel, or if you want to occasionally change it up with standard/suppressed looks. gear ratio won't have an effect on volume unless you're short stroking, and if you're short stroking as long as you don't go shorter than the length of the port it's also fine. sadly no, sitting duck was better at this sort of thing than me, i usually just stick with whatever the gun came with. if in doubt go higher volume. fortunately aeg's aren't as sensitive to it as for example hpa where mis-adjusted volume can seriously affect accuracy (although fortunately it's also super easy to adjust on those platforms)

pretty much zci would be my pick for bang for buck, not used the aols so can't comment. can't say from what i've seen of madbull stuff over the years that i'd be keen to use their barrels, especially aluminium, and especially not when the zci exists. worth noting, there's not really any benefit in extending the inner barrel from a performance perspective, and can mess with things like voluming.

Can’t be used with an S6 , only S10 and after . If you wanted a drink while wearing the 6 you had to get under cover , de-contam the top of your bottle , then the lower half of your mask then loosen the bottle lid but NOT open it , take a couple of good deep breaths then while holding your breath , keep your eyes tight shut , pop the lid , lift your mask , drink as much as you could in one go then discard the rest as its now contaminated ! 😳 Even though your using it as a replacement for the big old MAGlite I’d say ditch it as it looks sooooooo out of place with your loadout (which is a bloody good attempt by the way😉)and just run the gun with nothing just the irons . 👍

From what I have read, it is fine on green gas but certain springs may eventually go but when they do just upgrade to 150% replacements. I think most people use green gas.

Thinking about building an upper for CQB. around 1J power, .2-.25 BBs (don't see any need for more power or heavier BBs in CQB) short as possible/useful, 7-10 inch hand-guard muzzle flash simulator (in dark CQB I imagine LOTS of fun for myself and LOTS of FEAR for enemies) Drum mag (G&P 400 rounds)? (might be restricted to single-shot I know) grenade launcher, heavy BUT fun (more fun if they know the guy with the muzzle flash has a GL attached ...) when no GL, then a foregrip flashlight (no stroboscope thing, just a simple flashlight) some sort of red-dot or similar Different buffer tube/stock than the stock one? Any ideas/comments? It's just a (costly) idea for the moment, might or might not go ahead with it as I have other RIFs for CQB MP5 AEG (might sell that one if I go ahead) UZI GBB (LOTS of fun, but iron sights only. No rail system) Pistols (probably still the most useful in CQB) BUT the MWS is a LOT of fun, so would be nice to use it in CQB too. So I might reduce my stock in RIFs (trying to convince myself here, probably never going to happen 😅😇)

Nothing wrong with using non-gun parts. I think of it as being resourceful. I have one gun which has a purple calpol syringe tube as part of the hop up - just happens to be the perfect size to feed bbs from an M4 mag. This fix is one that I'm most proud and ashamed of at the same time.

Just to add also don't store the pistol with a magazine in. Prompted by this thread I dug out my Browning for a quick plink and realized I had left a mag in it since its last outing. This was enough pressure over time to bend the chinesium metal pin that holds the spring that forms the valve knocker. Good job I have spares. It really is a crap design.
