WOW. Getting all players to stand in a line, side by side and individually fire on full auto for 2 seconds was difficult to think of. Player cohesion may of potentially helped the Marshals play Hercule Poirot. (i.e. a ROF rampaging like a dog with two dicks may have been witnessed by more than one player). F&O are slipping but they can turn it around if they want and defuse the recent negative press they've had. They could start by issuing refunds for those who attended on this day and offer enhanced training for their Marshals.

Absolute Goddamn Joeys. Here's my supposition: they knew fine well who it was. But they hoped the culprits would own up and go home without any drama. When they didn't, they had no Plan B, and just retreated into an owner-marshal circle-wank where they told each other that collective punishment was the right thing to do, and better than risking walking up to Captain Spamalot and saying "Sod off, you're not welcome here." This, right here, is what grinds my gears the most about airsoft: sites gobbing off about what they're going to do, then failing to do it. Then punishing the majority of decent players because they won't deal with the tiny minority of toxic people who need to be punted right out of the hobby.

The reason I say these people aren't trustworthy is because I asked on reddit and that can be a bit.... meh. It has a higher concentration of idiots than these smaller, secluded forums.

Myself and 4 of my oppos attended a frozen conflicts (non profit organisers) invite only event at gunman tuddenham about a month ago. We were part of the invited opfor ~ A 12 man nato special operations force against a 30+ dedicated Russian element. real cap ammo limits, very credible missions/taskings great mix of milsim/action. It was one of the best events Iv attended to date, with great props/taskings huge effort put in by the organisers and some attendees. They have another event organised for mid-late October this year which we’ve all paid our deposit for already! Can’t wait for the next one at mid wales airsoft.

He's decided we are in the wrong. Said he doesn't believe the marshal did anything wrong with my guns. Accused us of being late on an open forum(despite being there an hour early, one of the first in fact) and not pointing out who was to blame as I apparently knew. I didn't know I was there as a marshal. Said I didn't try and engage when he was the one who walked off. So, losing battle here. I paid via paypal and have stuck a claim in. Bollocks to em. Wonder if I'll land an f&o ban.

And there we go, the root of the problem. I'd rather have sites just hush up and say nothing rather than swing their dicks, then shrivel up when it comes to actually confronting the players that they know fine well are cocking around.

So I took a drill and my old barrel and sanded down the bucking lips. Worked great with a nice smooth finish. Then I cleaned the barrel and bucking and proceeded to install it all in the gun. Chronoing at around 360 fps with around 1 or 2 FPS deviation at most. So now I probably need to just short stroke a tooth to get the gun within legal limits and I'll most likely be set. Not trusting it enough to NOT bring my backup gun though. A definite success either way.

There was a flap on at national airsoft event ringwood 2020. Some boyos over the far side of the campsite were putting on a great laser light show. This was about half twelve. Plenty of beer and excitement. I had my comms set to monitor marshals channel and it burst into life screaming "somebody get over to those fucking dicks and make them stop!" The problem was we were slap bang on the flight ✈️ path for hurn Airport just down the road. The display soon ended! Lol Regards

i think for me i'm used to sites being bad for the opposite end of the scale- not enough marshalling either due to marshalls who are too lazy, too young, or too ignorant of some basic principles (like how fps=/=joules) to manage games properly or at all. places where pretty much any and all forms of cheating go either undetected or unpunished (even when caught). so i'm surprised to see that the opposite could end up being just as bad.

£20 seems a bit low. Perun AB++ retails for about €50 in Europe and is the least expensive mosfet with precocking. Perun Hybrid is an awesome unit for the price, essentially Titan features at half the price (and half the hassle during installation). I bought two for about €68 a piece. On the same price bracket as the Hybrids, Gate offers the Warfet, which is similar to the AB++ in terms of features but. Going up in price, Gate's series of optical mosfets. You mentioned semi only, a mosfet is not your #1 priority but it's pretty much up there.

Had some new boxing gloves delivered today. Got some new hand wraps too. Got home from work at midnight and went out into the back garden all excited to do some heavy bag work with the new toys. Got in about 2am, drenched in sweat, with not one neighbour complaining. Given the bloody awful noise I made, I reckon that I can still visibly (and audibly) wallop things a fair old bit. Seriously though, bloody good workout/cardio for airsoft if anyone's interested. No matter how good webbing gets, you need upper body stamina for milsims. Carrying an LMG/LSW needs strength over time. Anyway, that's my excuse for tonight's antisocial behaviour.

Given the big ol' difference between quality ballistic rated goggles and the same goggles but with a fan, I think there's a huge need for simple ready-made kits (or at least the plans/links grouped together online) based on some common and popular goggle types in order for people do to these mods themselves.

Get on trip advisor and give them a shitty but honest review , I do find that gets there attention .

Just a guess but I bet that very site was south coast cqb by any chance? Played there a couple of years ago and we were all pulled into the safe zone after a game for a severe 'bollocking' for hit taking... I also compared it to being scolded as a school kid, bloody pathetic.

Fucking hell that is not remotely acceptable, how the hell did you even just walk away from that!? I'm not normally one to call for this sort of thing but naming and shaming seems to be the order of business here. save some fellow forumites the same misfortune. What I haven't really mentioned yet is the chrono marshal damaged my tanaka revolver-one of the rubber seats trying to eject a shell (pegasus system-no shells) And rammed an aeg m4 magazine inside my ghk g5. It's winding me up, massively. May have started melting down on facebook. Though, I fixed it, can't prove he did so. But it wasn't damaged before. And luckily I had a spare, I have a few tanaka pegasus saa parts for emergencies. I wasn't going to bring that up as, to be honest, it wasn't the end of the world. But if I hadn't have got a spare, then I would have had a very expensive paperweight.

It's not a figure, it's just a marshal pulling the trigger and showing you. Not that it bothered us, running gbbrs you can't spam a trigger with a total ammo count of 120. It was purely the treating everyone like naughty schoolkids.

Welcome Sebastian. I agree with Rogerborg, that 4x may be a bit too much magnification unless you have a very accurate and consistent shooter. 2x will be more useful in general. Simple 1x red dots are the most common ...and yes, buy or make a lens protector... THIS or THIS kind of thing

After having 2 reflex sights shot out I can strongly recommend sight protectors.👀. It's cheaper and easy to cut and shape replacement plexiglass when they get cracked,which they will. I was really pissed though when my night evolution weapon light got trashed down the bunker. It cost me £60 sobs! I can't even get the front holding ring off to replace the lens!☹ Regards

I'm guessing this or similar? https://www.amazon.co.uk/BESTSCOPE-Hunting-Optical-Fiber-Reticle/dp/B08FB4WY9D I can't speak to that particular model, but I will note that quality control on Chinese scopes is very hit and miss. However, Amazon at least gives an easy return if you get a lemon (as I did from Ali Express), and most owners seem happy. However, several reviewers flag up that the eye relief is short, which might be an issue depending on what eye and face protection you're using. It's also quite common for airsofters to put optics on risers to get a more comfortable view through them. Pic for attention, and you'll notice that I've set the scope as far back as I can because of the eye relief issue. And finally I do feel compelled to note that there's really no need for a magnified scope at airsoft 1.1J AEG ranges. I run a cheap 1x40 red dot outdoors, and a cheaper holographic site indoors (where there are fewer reflections). That lemon-scope there is on a DMR. Oh, and it's got no sight protector because it's a £21 optic with a plastic objective lens that might improve it if it gets shot out. Consistency, effective range and a snappy trigger is what you want to be chasing. A DMR is there to reach out a bit further than the standard AEGs on the field and make the shots that the AEGs are finding hard to make. Basically, you want to be designing it the same way you'd build a BASR, just instead of the higher power and slow ROF, you're taking the middle ground between the AEGs and the BASRs with semi-auto fire rate, but also trading in an MED. From my experience, the Cyma m14 is a great platform to start from, but they're not an easy one to work on as the gearbox is horrendous to take apart, barrels have to be specifically designed for it because it's cut differently and AEG hop rubbers need cutting down because the hop up unit is unique and takes shorter rubbers (not VSR rubbers! They're AEG rubbers, but with about a centimetre or two cut from the end. However, they make for some pretty swanky looking DMR builds once completed because the rifle has that classic rifle style. I've built one of mine to look more sniper-y. It's a shame your budget is only around £250 - 300 though, as my advice would be HPA for a DMR, but it costs a pretty penny. It's where I'm going for my m14 after experiencing the silent consistency of my HPA BASR, and if you're not spamming the trigger (which you shouldn't be with a DMR anyway), you can get away with a small bottle in a stock pouch to avoid having lines everywhere. However, I will also give my honest thoughts and perhaps play devil's advocate: Seriously consider what you'll get from that extra 0.5J and consider what you're trading off. I personally don't see the point in DMR power these days. With how advanced hop ups have become and how much they affect our range and accuracy, the extra 0.5J isn't worth the MED for me. The extra 5m, maybe 10m if you're lucky, isn't worth a 30m MED, but if your local site has a 15 or 20m MED for DMRs I could see the viability more. I think designing a "DMR" style rifle around 1.1J is way better as you lose very little effective range, but you gain the flexibility of being able to shoot point blank if someone gets up close.

Its F&O ? Well, what a surprise. One of the main reasons i dont play at their sites any more Had similar occurences at 2 of their locations a few years back. The first at a place in Leicester when a bunch of rental players refused to own up to f*cking about in the safe zone - random shots on light fixtures etc, despite being told not to 😕 The Marshall knew full well who had done it, but we all got held back from the first game, because the idiots concerned didnt have the backbone to admit they were at fault. I left the site asap. The second was at a site further north-west. Blatant cheating, non hit-taking, and marshalling staff that needed a visit to Specsavers were the least of the issues. The final straw was when i got accused of cheating by a certain gbbr owner/player who literally and quite loudly swore ( not heard such a litany of filth as i was subjected to) that i wasnt taking my hits and that he'd landed at least 3 hits on me from his G5 and i was blatantly cheating 😧 Despite 3 other nearby players who confirmed that i hadn't actually been shot, this was not accepted by the Marshall that had been no more than three feet away from me at the time of the incident. I attempted to calmly explain to the Marshall what had happened only to be totally ignored. I was wrong and the other shouty player was in the right. I was a tad miffed( a polite way of saying i was bloody furious, but getting angry wasn't going to help) I packed me kit and left. Never been back to any of their sites since.

No, not being trolled. Which part are you struggling to believe? The chrono marshal said he had to chrono the guns. Which is fine, when done by someone who is either experienced enough or slows down and asks how something works if not sure. I passed him the G5 and put the SAA down on the side. You have to let them load the mags with their bbs. He grabbed an m4 aeg mag and smacked it in. You know when you look at something and wonder if that was just real? That happened. While I was unfucking that, as the mag didn't want to come out, he picked up my SAA, and immediately used the ejector to try and remove a shell. That's when the damage was done. You can nick the rubbers with the ejector as it's there to seat bbs into the rubbers only. Though it's not a design flaw, it's just misuse that damages them.

We left the bullshit early tbf, but there wasn't much time left anyway. And they'd instigated a further break on top. The lad I was with was raging. I tried to engage with the manager, he walked off when we said we were going home, I was expecting a "why" or similar but no, just walked off. They were all but one in their office as we left. The marshal outside having a fag was very receptive and apologetic, no issues with him if he reads this. It was F&O The Mill. Honestly, used to love the site, pre covid. But that last night goes straight in at number 1 of shit airsoft events.
