Just bought an mp5k and an mp5 sliding stock. Always wanted to do this conversion since seeing this pic. Its an mp5k built off an mp5 reciever and that stock just looks so good on it. Gonna take a bit of work but the end result should be a nice little pdw.2 points -

Its that time again I've been in touch with Z-Mart (Zedadventures new CQB site located in Newbury) and have been told we can have a private game. Currently it will be £25.00 per head, or £650.00 which is greater, so for us to have ot at £25.00 per head we need a minimum or 26 players otherwise im assuming the cost will go up per head. 5 rentals available on the night at a cost of £40.00 total (that includes the £25.00 per head) We can have any day excluding Sundays or Thursdays, 4.5 hours of Airsoft. It has been mentioned that midweek is best because we can pick any time but for people on longer journeys that may be an issue due to work that day or previous day. Trying to confirm if a Saturday would be afternoon or evening, will post confirmation below. So, I leave it to you to pick a month I.e Jan or Feb, as well as a day. I for one would prefer a Saturday evening. Once I have a preference for a month and day, I'll ping another email to zed and get a date set. Then you can book. *Please note, this is a forum meet up, however I have no issues with a small group of friends coming, not a team of 10 though as its a smaller site* Regards the poll, please only vote on ONE month, but as many days as you want. The poll will close in ONE WEEK. Any questions, please post below Sorry if I haven't tagged you, don't take it personally, you're still invited. Looks like its going to be Feb or March. Possibly end of Feb. The safety at Zmart is very good, you have to wear a face mask all day and stick to your own tables and social distance. Also, I'd like to think most people on here have their heads screwed on as well. Many have a lot of respect for Luke and the staff at Zed so nobody will be fucking around too much.1 point -
My order was sent fairly quickly from TG. and they sent it with a chrono sheet of around 330fps, which is grand (i selected the 310 option but asked if it could be 330ish in comments as suggested). they did miss out the last number of my UKARA on the label though.... The only cock up was by UPS who forgot to load my parcel in the van. Then, when the customer service lady said it would come next day, proceeded not to arrive. i then called today to work out what was going on and they said it is scheduled for redelivery, though no delivery date has been arranged. I resign myself to go get it from the depot, because screw waiting an unknown length of time to get what i paid for. It then, same day mysteriously gets delivered, the driver grabbed it today but did not update tracking... Now the proud owner of a new CYMA AK-74m. Only concern is, the hop-up slider seems very loose on it, especially compared to the cyma 74u. im guessing the little screw head holding the slider just needs a tighten? thought to ask before i bugger it up1 point

I bought the LCT AK12/15 at the bottom of the picture from Gunfire recently and obviously havent been able to skirmish but seems like a nice aeg. Is shooting hot but will be an easy fix. I didnt get the EBB version for price and longevity reasons. Can anyone recommend a good scope setup for the AK? I generally don't really care about quality for scopes as the range you are fighting at are frankly pathetic in airsoft - its all about the looks. If you google AK12 there are some nice looking RS stuff but I have no idea what the scopes are called or where I can buy a cheaper version so any recommendations would be much appreciated 👍1 point -

@Sitting Duck Hello mate, it took a while for the parts to come but I think the delivery services are struggling a bit at the moment in general, then I didnt have time because of work but... good news! It turns out it was the "trolley" bit (the bit that moves forward to make the connection?). Basically when I compared to the brand new one it was obvious how worn the old one was and I think during my initial modifications it did get damaged too, but not massively so it was quite subtle. I never would have guessed that such a small part would stop the whole gun from working! Anyway so I replaced the worn trolley with the new one but kept the rest of the trigger as is (I bought the exact same ICS trigger-switch so its all compatible) and I noticed straight away that the operation of the trigger and the movement of the cut off lever and selector place all felt better somehow (I also tightened the cut off lever which I think was too loose but it wasnt the main issue anyway). I then had a good look at the new gears and the shimming and all seemed good so I put all back together and it worked without the top half of the gearbox attached. However when I put back in the gun it was struggling to pull the piston back and I was pretty fed up at this point, however just before I took it all apart again I thought that id try a new battery and it worked flawlessly, so basically Ive been testing so much it drained a whole battery lol Anyway long story short it was the trolley that had worn, I think not helped by me potentially forcing the gearbox back into the gun and not having the selector plate in the right position so straining the trolley even more until a bit has snapped or split off. The new gears are all working well and new motor as well, plus I have learnt a huge amount about teching and working on V2 gearbox. At some point I will still rewire but I need a break now Thanks a lot for taking the time to write detailed replies and explaining how things work, appreciate that mate! Im a happy bunny now as that gun has been really good and I was gutted that id somehow broken it. Cant wait to skirmish again with it now1 point

There's a holster coming out that apparently fits it: https://actionsportgames.com/en-gb/productcatalog/holster-universal-fits-b-t-usw-a1-polymer-black Looks like you have to attach a small clip onto the gun's lower rail.1 point

Hello, I have haven't got any cartridges to do a direct comparasion, but they look pretty similar in size, so they might fit in a standard carridge holder. I will give then a whirl tonight to see how loud they are, but considering their price, they look pretty good. I got them cheap from here, they also sell the snap bangers and holders too: https://extremeairsoft.co.uk/product-category/airsoft-brands/tectonic-innovations/1 point -
Personally I don't think it will sell at that price.1 point

If you've got a Dremel, a few files and a bit of sandpaper it's not too bad. Takes some time to get it right though. So far no issues with the supplied nozzle but the lockback only seems to function with the Prowin mags. You'd want a spare upper and bolt lock catch unless you're leaving it running glock mags only. The lower doesn't need modifying (bolt catch aside)1 point -

Better to get a M4A1 or CQBR and then stick a madbull MK18 rail on it. The TM one you can’t get the rail off easily as you need a special tool which no one seems to make yet.1 point

Is that 6cm on optics, red dot or irons? At the weekend I was shooting stood up supported, getting 6" at 30m with propane, 6.03/303mm barrel, .32 Geoffs, TM bucking, biro mod and red dot optic. Although it was a bit windy. So your 6cm seems very good to me. I'm tweaking my set up this week, and will give it a test. I'm planning on the same 30m range, Mapp, 370mm Crazy Jet barrel, .32 Geoffs, Modify X bucking, SixG nub, HSB, and last but not least a decent x6 LPVO. I've not even been able to skirmish the thing due to Lockdown2, but the more I get into it the less interested I am in picking up an AEG ever again. If we say a 2.3 joule bolty and mk23 is like playing airsoft on hard mode, is the MWS platform, with its 1/2 kilo magazines like playing airsoft on ultra?1 point -

its cool if you dont mind loosing bolt catch. the machining to get the bolt catch to work is a lot of precision milling of the recievers IMO, and im fairly good with tools. i just took out the blue catch lever and tossed the bolt catch lever all together. my plan was just to have a small SMG which can swap mags with the TM glock.1 point -

almost certainly more than i can afford there was a fella on here was selling a similar russian built one: edit: see @airsoftshooter123's post about this ad being a polish build the hard sell for me is justifying that kind of cash on a gen 1 unit, no matter how much steampunk awesomeness is involved.1 point -
Did someone mention TM recoils? 😂 Look there are two schools of thought in regards to TM recoils. One school of thought thinks there’s magic TM dust in them and the other school of thought thinks they are over priced for what they are. I’ll let you into a wee secret. It’s not TM dust it’s actually M&S dust!! That’s why they are so good and work so well out of the box oh and yeah are a tad more expensive. But you know what ? You pull that trigger and there’s a smile. Simple as that..... they work. Yes like all RIFS you can upgrade them if you so desire. Hell even use lonex parts if that’s your thing. But you know what that recoil will still works. It will still bring a smile to your face not to mention the bolt stop feature. Yes I’ve been guilty of forgetting to press the bolt stop back after changing a mag and popping my head over a barricade to shoot at the opposing team and then wondering why my gun wasn’t working. Duh 🙄 You can’t go wrong......1 point

Necro #2. The Lord's work is done! A final order from the motherland netted me the correct gorka suit in gold berezka, the correct gloves, the correct boots, and a medical pouch to replace the rights-side Vityaz pouch. Turns out that airsoft PP-19-01 mags are slightly larger than the real steel counterparts, so the 6 pouches I had wont work. Oh well, they have since been replaced by a triple HSGI taco pistol pouch. The DP-28 is also coming along - the planned 2-3 print part has become a 6-print part, with at least one more needed for proper feeding. I hope to sit down and finish it over the winter.1 point -

very good shout that, i guess maybe proprietary magazines are putting people off? but then that doesn't stop the users of [anything that's not an m4 or ak] of this world..... only person i know who fields one was the ex-tech at my local shop, i guess maybe folks just see it as a scar impersonator? you see the whole "it's plastic so its shit" argument levied against guns like the f2000 too, i don't get it personally. don't get me wrong i love me a gun made of proper materials but if it's based on a gun that's mostly plastic then what's wrong with that? even more ironic that the people complaining about it are probably still buy glocks......1 point -

Solar reacted to Sitting Duck for a topic
if you get the SAME part/switch then you may probably just need to swap over the busted trolley part when you get another switch - well things can get interesting with trigger/trolley/switches as some switches are a little different to others, sometimes they are interchangable & other times not quite so - not ALL trolleys go in ALL switches not all switches work flawlessly in some guns/triggers some triggers (especially cheap flat "speed triggers" tend to be a bit short on sear that there can be so little metal of trigger pushing trolley at very bottom it jumps off at full pull etc.... Oh fuck me - trigger/switches & compatibilty can be a PITA if you change lots of shit plus if you change switch itself - then resoldering required so if you got an ICS switch or say a SHS trolley is kinda compatible then just keep it simple & change what's broke perhaps best of luck1 point -

I ordered from them Sunday night. All the TG notifications etc were issued straight away more or less. The parcel is now with the terminally useless UPS as from Monday mid-morning. With the boost in online shopping, I'd say that UPS is overwhelmed as well as their being in usual state of being pretty useless. Covid does mess things up though. Planning shifts can be a nightmare what with staff suddenly isolating or not getting onto socially distanced public transport in time for work. TG is in Krakow IIRC. One big city and possibly only a few people to each bus/tram etc at the moment.1 point -

I've had similar experiences with some Gunfire orders... On a good day you could order Sunday night & get delivery by Friday - if ya lucky from GF Though if no joy them Monday it would be @ 7 days One order took well over 10, maybe 12 days to arrive & All was in stock so fuck knows what the issue was from GF A recent order from TWG took exactly 7 days (Tues - Tuesday) Up to that point of the slow GF order I gave GF the slight edge But in the end 7 days to 10 is the norm depending on processing Remember that Poland & places just recently had increases in COVID-19 Though not a massive epidemic, they might have had new regs or people off isolating perhaps Or those lazy soda at GF that took their time on my order was working at TWG when you placed your order You should receive a despatch note & expect del in 3 days say But them lazy GF staff might be moonlighting at TWG So your order is stuck processing..... Hope it arrives soon sir, good job you aren't waiting to play I guess1 point -
