    So. Real or Not

100% Airsoft. Main giveaways - rail camo on the rifle. Usage of 'call sign' tabs on the arms, too many patches. I doubt an SF soldier would ever refer to themselves as a Crowbag (patch on helmet). If you look at the mag in the rifle you can just see the orange strip to show BB level. Overall hes too clean, and also look at the background, since when do you see real SF clearly in what an airsoft site with loads of tyres for barriers? A bit of common sense applied and you can see its Airsoft.

    Airsoft Competitions!

I entered a competition for todays draw at 1pm for a Mavic drone. When I checked this morning 63 tickets had been sold.I've sat down to watch the live draw to find it's been changed to 5.30 pm...☹️.Is this allowing for mores sales?MMM so it begins.A tad underhand to boost sales when it looked so good.

  7. Hi all, I'm keen to start but no clue where I go near me (Hitchin, Hertfordshire Bedfordshire border). Any good suggestions? Also, before splashing the cash on needless gear, what should a noob purchase? Cheers

  9. If it sounds like full auto, then it is against the spirit of the rules. In our game based on honour. And full auto being the full auto of an average hire gun, ie a JG G36 on a 7.4

  10. The only thing I would suggest would be face pro, grab yourself a reasonable mask as right now I wouldn’t want to use a rental one. if you have boots then wear those but you don’t need to buy them for your first game and I wouldn’t by uniform or clothes, wear something old you don’t mind getting muddy/ripped jeans and a hoody like most rentals is fine for your first game or two or outdoor style clothing if you already have it.

  11. the problem is that a binary trigger effectively doubles your rate of fire. regardless of wether or not it's a titan'd dsg wanker gun build of an hpa hose, in semi you can only acheive so many presses per second. problem is, these guns can often cycle much much faster than the players ability to pull the trigger meaning the human element is the cap on the effective rate of fire. you put a binary trigger in the mix and you've not only doubled the rate of fire but also made it impossible to fire just 1 round. in both the real steel and airsoft world a binary trigger's sole purpose is to creatively skirt rules about fully automatic fire.

  12. Hi @Winter! 👋 Pretty much what @Shamal said! 🔫😎👍 Find your nearest sites, then choose, might want to see which one works for you? Quick list: 1. Eye protection, can’t play! 2. Boots, for all terrain weather! 3. BDU, any camo of your choice? 4. Gloves, Knee & shoulder pads, protect your joints, optional? 5. When you get there, payment (online or on the day?), listen to The Rules, how to use the rental (covers🔫, bbs, & face protection), trigger discipline, have fun, make some friends, mission accomplished and replay! 🤪 Hope this helps, made a channel, during Lockdown, covers a few Basics & Gameplay? 🤔👍 💷GAMBLE💷

  14. To me, a binary trigger isn't so much a problem with rate of fire as it is an attempt to skirt around semi only limitations. Granted, there's a bit more control on a binary trigger over full auto, as you still need to do an action for each BB fired, but it seems easy for your reflex to be to double tap the trigger, and fire 4 bbs in no time, effectively being a short burst of full auto.

  18. Point taken, maybe ‘not airsoft’ or ‘live firing’ maybe? Point I was making was that I personally avoided tyres and ‘soft’ cover for the reasons stated (the goose analogy) and it was heavily emphasised to avoid them. It seems a little counter productive to train people with piles of tyres which they may inadvertently run to in a genuine situation. That said I wouldn’t be at all surprised if ranges did use them just none of the ones I trained on ever did. They also seem much more common in airsoft which additionally led me to think it was not ‘real/live’. If it’s real then hey, it’s real!

I also watch the Sunday draws but this was originally 1pm,when I purchased my ticket. It also states the draw will take place wether it sells out or not.My issue is that they moved the draw time.

    THE TM MWS thread

The version numbers are to do with Barrel length of your gun and not FPS. It's just a guide to make sure you are not buying something that will be over/underpowered for you barrel length. It's a bit confusing as some websites have the extra info and a lot dont. If you go to G&P's main webiste: ONLY For Marui M4A1 MWS GBB Including 90° piston cup O-ring to prevent leak out the gas Suggest using below 263mm inner barrel 134A only http://www.gp-web.com/product/mws037a/ so If you are running a stock barrel you'd be looking for that one. I have a 370mm Barrel and run the 4.5 (gold) version. The valve gives you the ability to tune your FPS based on BB weight, barrel length, type of gas and temperature.

  22. Agreed, if you arent trying to lift tje super heavies in a northern winter the 60 is fine.

  23. I use 50s at 0.99J lifting 0.28g+ You could run a 60 even, it only takes an unnoticeable amount of extra pressure to achieve the same backspin, but it's also unnoticeably more durable.

  25. yep, looks good to me. not tried the MR-hop but the i've used the 50 degree macaron's to lift .48's at 1j.

  26. Inner barrel I'd go for this: https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/inner-barrels/zci-inner-barrel-285mm

  27. I'd only swap the macaron for an AEG MR-Hop, as it's pretty much a straight drop in for Specna/ZCI chambers

    THE TM MWS thread

All of my MWS have the brass hop nub, upgraded inner barrels of various lengths and n-pas valves fitted. Other than that it’s only the externals that have been upgraded. Red gas adds between 15 to 40 FPS compared to nuprol 2.0. depending on the ambient temperature at the time (higher temperature less difference) and the length of the inner barrel (longer inner barrels see a bigger increase). I really only use Red Gas to give the cycle back its snap when it gets a bit sluggish in the cold. I can adjust the n-pas to get to the desired FPS on regular Nuprol 2.0 on even the coldest days, but the bolt cycle can be pretty draggy when the temp gets pretty low.

  30. No the police don't say, they usually send the firearms response squad when its little kids with a cap gun! This whole country is scared of guns thanks to the actions of the few! Now the ones with real guns are the criminals who find no difficulty getting them and ammunition.

  31. AFUK's resident Yank here - thats false. The orange tip is only required for a store to import airsoft guns, and in places like Commiefornia where the rules are alot more along the lines of two tone.

  36. 3 more extended Glock magazines by Raven from Classifieds to accompany my recently purchased AAP-01 I've got mine from bespokeairsoft (had it couple days earlier than Patrolbase) and it's also in French. Considering these show up in extremely limited numbers it wouldn't be surprising that they snatched them from French distribution? Also I didn't get this recently but after many months it's finally ready and will come next week. I've ordered this paint job because I didn't have UKARA at a time and Chris from GearTech Customs kindly agreed for me to get Striker through him with paint job. I long since have UKARA and many more RIFs but still wanted this paint job to come to fruition, seeing as "Knee Capper" deserves a meme paint job for a meme gun it is. I understand it may not be up to everyone's tastes and milsim guys are gonna get heart attack seeing this but I'm gonna post it anyway - I will be kind enough to put it into spoiler though Any weebs? I present you Toradora! themed Meme Baby Striker: Also got 2x short Striker mags delivered the other day for it.

    Rip the Depot, Glasgow

Well, decision made. That's my Evo and G17 advertised here, on another forum and will be added to a few discords. I've advertised my UF Pro gear on Facebook and have gone through everything I have, photographing it, ready for advertising. It'll take time to list it all individually and move it on. I feel ok about giving up airsoft. A bit sad, but I feel the time is about right after 12 years and with The Depot closing its doors (although I've held off from advertising my G34 and TRMR's meantime in case I fancy a CQB game in the near future). I'll wait until the rest of my stuff sells first before I let them go. Although I hurt my back and didn't actually get to play woodland again on Sunday, just being back at the site (POW) was nice for a catch-up, but I know woodland games are not what I enjoy most. Now to think of another hobby.....
