As you arranged a third party courier then extreme airsoft aren't liable for anything. Their part in the sale ended when they handed the parcel over to the courier you arranged. Also they do ship abroad, otherwise why would the T&Cs contain this? For international orders (outside the UK), all import duties and taxes for the goods entering your country are your responsibility to pay, so please find out the applicable rates of your country before ordering. All in all this looks dodgy as fuck and I get the feeling we're not getting the full picture

I see you posted this on one of Facebook groups also, I only glanced at a few replies are comical. It's a Specna arms right? Without fully knowing what spring is actually installed it's difficult to know how bad the problem is. You mentioned a M100 but the ship could be just saying that judging on the fps drop. They could have fitted the M120 or M110, plus different brands are different powers etc. You say you've used it for 4 games, over what period of time? Probably loss of compression in the piston head, cylinder head, nozzle, bucking etc combined with the cheap Chinese spring losing its power. Could even be something as simple as a regrease and oring. If still in warranty the store should have opened it up to check though, wouldn't have taken long.

I suggest that you start over. Forget the back-story, it's not relevant. Just spell out clearly what you are asking someone to do, in terms of actions, items, and money. What's going to be received, what's going to be sent, who's paying for it, and how.

310fps with a 0.2g BB is about 0.9J which isn't awful. It should be a little higher with an M100 spring, and as @ak2m4says, that's down to air seal. The seal on my Specna Arms Edge 1 isn't great, and it wanted the o-rings seen to out of the box. Airsoft guns aren't precision engineering; they're very over-priced toys. It's a matter for celebration when you get them dialled in, but you can have fun with a sub-optimal gun - as long as your enjoyment is based on the performance in the bushes rather than numbers on the bench. "Matey at the field" wasn't wrong about M100 being a decent default choice, but here's the thing: when you tell an airsoft tech exactly what to do, you don't get to blame them when your instructions don't result in the outcome you were expecting. There are three pretty simple things you can do yourself to try and get the power up. One, clean the hop rubber and barrel. You should be doing this regularly anyway. Two, put some silicone spray into the nozzle, let it sink into the o-rings, then blow it out with some auto bursts before re-assembling. If that doesn't help, then try an M110 spring. Specnas have a simple enough spring change system; you just need a long Phillips or JIS screwdriver to take the bolt out from inside the buffer tube. Once the tube is off, the spring guide and spring come out and go back in easily enough. YouTube will provide videos for disassembly, and spring changing. The sooner you learn, the sooner you won't be at the mercy of well meaning mateys or techs.

I an owner and fan of TM, so with your budget I would recommend that you get a TM recoil. I bought one for my first gun, had the Deans mod for LiPo battery, and left it stock. Great out of the box with no messing around to "upgrade". I was happy with that choice, and I see no reason to get a cheap gun if you do not have to.

First and for most welcome back ! 2nd who ever is telling you you ‘must’ upgrade a TM recoil is talking out of their arse plain and simple . Only thing you ‘need’ to do is get a deans connector on it(only reason I say deans is it’s the standard connector up-grade most use)instead of the Neolithic Tamiya that’s on it . I 100% believe you don’t need to change a thing in them to be more effective , it’s you that needs the changes not the gun . if your bimbling around the field totally oblivious to your surroundings as 75% of players seem to be then I don’t care how far you guns shoots it won’t help you ‘up your game’ , get your field craft sorted and I guarantee you’ll be racking up the kills . Plus for the negative effect on the longevity of the guns life and the increase in range I just don’t think it’s worth it , I don’t care who’s worked on it the minute you start ‘up-grading’ you’ve just put a best before date on your gun and started a countdown timer for it to implode . If you frequent the tech sections of any online airsoft group you’ll see it’s full of players asking problems with their ‘upgraded’ TM recoil AND frequently their the same players who you’d seen telling every man and his dog about his new laser blaster that’ll take the wings of a fly at 65mtres not a few wks ago . TM’s are made to VERY precise tolerances aimed at the Japanese market and once you start replacing bits you’ve messed up that balance and you’ve just boarded the train to ‘dead gunsville’ wether you like it or not . And when I get told I’m wrong ? I just get out my my 12-13yr old stock TM Socom and my 10-11yr old AK74su and ask them to show me their upgraded ones of that age ?

What weight ammo are you using? Because the "350 fps" limit sites advertised is actually "350fps using 0.2g" so if your using anything heavier the raw fps number will be lower even if the kinetic energy in joules (the number that matters) is the same. The fps being lower due to heavier ammo isn't a disadvantage, in fact contrary to what you might think the slower heavier round actually goes further thanks to the magic of the magnus effect (aka hop). As others have said, being a bit under the limit (that is joules, not raw fps) isnt so bad, although assuming you're using 0.2g ammo then it sounds like you're a bit under. One thing to look for next time you chrono is the consistency in the fps, eg if its shooting 310 is every shot 310 or is there variation (eg 310 +/- 20fps), as a big variation is gonna be a sign of poor air seal (which results in shit accuracy)

First and most important question is what IS the gun and what make is it ? Without those details two simple details you’ll never get a decent answer because no one on here can give you a decent answer without this knowledge . Firing stop on empty makes a big difference IMO, firstly you don’t give away the fact you’ve run dry to everyone attacking you, secondly it’s so much more immersive when you change mag and hit the bolt release. Personally I’m not a fan of electric ’recoil’ only because I like full stealth so the extra noise I don’t like. Really a NGRS is the best OOTB. Seriously no other AEG can shoot as straight and true from the box. The hop unit and related parts are the best in the business, yes you can get other airsoft guns to perform the same but it takes A LOT of effort. If you’re not buying an NGRS then I really don’t see you getting any better value past the £300 mark. All you’re getting is box ticking with usually sub standard bells and whistles. Sub £300 I would look at these as base guns, owing to great externals and build with easy upgrade; E&L AK105/SU ARCTURUS GR16 ASG Scorpion EVO These have the quality to match the TM and with work have the same performance ceiling. The Scorpion is a little over 300, but you get bolt-lock-on-empty and 3rd burst. RE NGRS trigger lock up, this is a rarity and is caused by the user… It happens because the trigger is not being fully depressed for the full cycle / spammed faster than the gun is capable of. If you get an NGRS you hands down will love a Gate Titan or BTC Spectre in it, they are one of the best upgrades to any airsoft gun TBH. Also just noticed the AK12 is available from E&L now 😍

budget recommendation: CYMA M14 this is a clone of the TM version and shoots fantastic out the box, can still be got for £150ish and you get shorter barrel version which will do CQB and out doors, Pretty much any CYMA metal body AK. Mid budget: they are old now but Tokyo Marui P90 RD using MAG 170rd mid caps are a great platform for cqb and can hold their own in wood lands. you could also get a 5-7 as a side arm. Tokyo Marui AUG something different. has take down function so you could swap out receivers/ barrels for different configurations. has progressive trigger or selector switch for semi/auto fire. Top end: Tokyo Marui Scar L Recoil is one of the cheaper of the recoil but has all of the functionality of the newer models. for shits and giggles tokyo Marui AA-12 with a drum mag. Full auto, triple barrel shotgun with recoil. whats not to love?

the vorsk v6 175 psi also theres no leak on the mags and since i have shit tons of silicone i decided to seal up the o ring on the mag to just make sure like its been away for a week maybe i always take it out and shoot like 4-5 shots every once in a while tho

I said I was stupid to forget that they do not ship airsoft equipment. it's written on their website but I forgot. I don't know what's so difficult to understand. @Cannonfodder What's dodgy? I said I'm the stupid one for forgetting that myUS doesn't accept shipping airsoft equipment. They can't know what I bought before it arrives to the warehouse. I've never blamed extreme airsoft for this. If they don't want to refund me that's all but they should at least answer my e mail. they also do not propose international shipping. When I clicked on country, it only shows United Kingdom. It's maybe because Quake 8 is not the product they want to ship to overseas. I really don't understand these comments that are trying to blame me for some reason. I'm just asking for help. If you don't want to or can't, what's the point of leaving me a message. My finalised chest rig/belt kit. I really can't think of anything else it needs. It's ergonomically perfect and has exactly everything I need for a half day of games and nothing else: FNX with 2 mags, 3 hicaps, bb bag, fags and lighter, whistle, pockets for car keys and enough dump pouch space for anything I might need to stuff in there.

People here now and again post the most relevant comment / meme, that what we're running around with is just a toy, and really that £600 toy won't do much at all that the £300 one won't, and it certainly won't turn a novice into John Wick 😆 I'd be buying a "good" rifle and spending the remaining £300 on giving myself a competitive over everyone else. For example on my AEG I've just moved from 0.25g to 0.28g along with a good inner barrel supporting an ML MR bucking, that extra 8 to 10 meters of accuracy can hold off others quite easily, when running it I put onto it my DMR's flip to side 3x magnifier and can spot approaches and pick people off. You say some of your time is in woodland, so maybe spend some of the money on great camouflage? I think they used to be ok being all black and it was sort of standard, but now I'm pretty sure they're legally mandated to be two tone blue. As for OP; Legally you probably shouldn't have been spraying any part of it, lol. Not that I'm the police or anything. You could try re-painting the blue bits blue, or perhaps sanding the outer layer of added paint off. Or, just leaving it and hoping it'll all be ok. If it's brought up, you could always tell a little white lie that someone else did it/you got it second hand already like that/etc.

Would be useful to know what sort of gun it is. The shop people are right, TM’s do come in sub-300 fps. 210 does sound low for yours though.

For this price anything is possible. I have a few higher end pews but I would recommend the ASG scorpion evo... or the NGRS (m4 beats out the aks and the scars imo).

I'd buy a reasonably well reviewed gun I liked the look of for around £300-£400, and as needed I would: put a zci hop, maple leaf bucking+nub, stabilise the barrel, reshim (yourself or a tech), deans the connector, and slap a warhead in that bad boy. Maybe a perun ab++ if I'm feeling spicy, though you don't really need it with the warhead unless you want burst fire. It means you can be a little bit platform neutral.

I wouldn't bother about recoil tbh. I have used them, but stopped noticing the effect as soon as gameplay began. If I was spending £600 tomorrow and wanted reliability, performance and durability, I'd get a non-recoil, non-ETU G&G M4. A decent barrel, rotary hop and rubber/nub swap is a ten minute job. Plug and play Burst Wizard 4 mosfet and away you go. A high torque motor is another five minute job, and difficult to fuck up, if you really want to go to town. Rifs have come on so much that over £150 price and quality have less and less of a relationship. I was amazed at how well my CYMA M14 shot out of the box. It was less than £100 from TG a few years ago. All that said TMs are bloody lovely. You have a lot of choice atm IF you can find something that you really like in stock.

@Kieronwf there is absolutely nothing wrong with a bone stock M4 or 416 Recoil. 55M is not to be sniffed at. What you are getting with a Recoil is; - Recoil obv - TM reliability - The best AEG hop unit ever (M4/416/Scar) - Firing stop on empty - Great build quality You will want to run it on 7.4 LiPo - simple From there run it and see how you get on. Easy external mods are; Prommy 6.03 barrel - fps increase Super Nub/Omega with 0.25 BBs After that it gets silly but good.

Nope! Not only that, I snapped the solder connection on the buffer tube! Theres a chance its not working because of the connection so I'll probably send it to a shop now. I did disassemble again so will look to carefully put it back together and try to solder and see how I get on. I'll keep the thread updated to completion just in case someone else ever has this issue.

Yes have used DP, sadly airsoft is airsoft and QC varies weekly. You may just have had moulding burrs or something?? Ultimately keep these gats lubed and free from debris and theyll truck on, run dry, shit BBs or dirty mag/feed lips etc and its a lottery. I do wish TM would up the spares supply!

Shouldn't need any adapter on a Specna CORE - The buffer tube mounts directly onto the receiver extension stub with a screw that goes into the back of the gearbox spring guide. This serves to lock the gearbox in place, and pulls the buffer tube into tension on the back of the gun thus securing it. A sling plate is needed to cover the gaping hole left in the back of the receiver.
