Ready for Operation Boogaloo at Gunman Eversley next weekend, and this time the hop rubber ISN'T torn, so I can actually use it. Going to take it to Worthing this weekend to MAKE SURE it's working so I don't have a repeat of last time. Will shove a bunch of natural foliage in the scrim net on the day.3 points

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone would be able to pinpoint whether this particular item has any resale value or not i know its the the Metal Deepfire M72 Law, it does function and can fire tag rounds, obviously as you can see its not the best example, though they are quite rare, I'm aware that the market for them is also a bit slim thanks1 point

Wired to Deans. Includes the optional Scope rail. Upgrades include RA/SHS Neodymium 16TPA Green High torque motor Xcortech Mosfet Plus Replaced Piston Head O-Ring Macaron 50 degree rubber and nub ZCI Barrel (Cant recall the length) Running at 1Joule, Quick change spring system is a doddle. We all know how difficult these are to get hold of, no brand new ones to my knowledge out there. These are some of the highest quality externals that can be find on a bullpup rifle. I would much prefer collection at my house in Dagenham London and anyone who can do so will get priority, Otherwise I will consider posting at buyers expense (But I will need to acquire some packing material first if you want the original box to be protected by bubble wrap, otherwise the stock padding inside the box will be fine to post with) . Uppers tend to be more desirable than lowers so I’d be inclined to go as follows: Upper including charging handle, forward assist and dust cover £140 including postage and PayPal fees Lower including the A2 grip, trigger guard, bolt release, mag catch, body pins and selector £120 including postage and PayPal fees Front end + rear sight £90-£100 including postage and PayPal fees (if this is a 14.5 outer barrel as it appears to be I’d be very interested, feel free to PM if this piques your interest) Buffer tube, castle nut and ‘end plate’ (I have no idea what the proper name is for them) £30-£40 including postage and PayPal fees If you split it up this way I wouldn’t be shocked if you wind up sitting on the buffer tube for a while so could be worth bundling those with the lower and shooting for £150ish for that as a set. I’m sure some might think these prices are a mile off, but stock uppers and lowers are extremely desirable alongside being hard to come by at present. I think you’d struggle to sell it all in one go personally, because price wise you’re going to be landing within £100 or so of what you could grab an ‘entry level’ MWS for. Just my ‘2 cents’ of course. Cheers, Alex1 point

If ALL the compression parts inside the gearbox seal (so: piston head to cylinder, cylinder to cylinder head, cylinder head to nozzle in its fully extended position) then the issue is most likely around the hop up area. Check if your nozzle to hop rubber seal is good, install the gearbox with the nozzle at its resting position (fully extended) inside the gun, then shine a light down the muzzle and check if there is any light coming through the hop unit's feed tube. If there is, then your hop rubber is worn/torn or the nozzle is too short. Replace accordingly. If your nozzle doesn't have an o-ring, replace it regardless, make sure to measure its length with a caliper and buy accordingly. DO. NOT. USE. PTFE. TAPE. TO. SEAL. COMPRESSION. PARTS.1 point

hop questions
Tactical Pith Helmet reacted to Adolf Hamster for a topic
Consistent curving off to the right is the hop mound being off-square This is commonly one of 2 things: -The nub is uneven/off centre in the chamber (the arm may also be off centre/square depending on the quality of the unit) -The bucking is rotated slightly off-centre either because its not square on the barrel or the barrel itself is off square. Pull the barrel/hop unit, turn it on a bit then look down the barrel, it'll be obvious how its sitting relative to the feed tube on the hop.1 point -

I've had the same thing. Have you already taken it apart? Just wondering if there's a chance you put it together again with something misaligned... Alternatively there is a chance the lip at the rear of the hop rubber has been split and is impinging on the rear of barrel, forming a lip or nub that causes side spin.1 point -

Cr0-Magnon reacted to Adolf Hamster for a topic
pretty much the only reason to say no would be if you want to buy it thinking it might be some kind of investment that will appreciate in value. if you want it because, well, you just want it, and are happy with whatever the pricetag is then that's pretty much the standard criteria for buying an airsoft pew fulfilled.1 point -

Some BB testing at 10m today, Vorsk 0.36g lead the pack and are much tighter than stock MWS on BLS BBs (according to 4uad airsofts tests) I used two 0.1mm AEG shims to stop the hop arm moving side to side but have the stock TM rubber in there at the moment. * 4uad tested Stock MWS 120mm diagonal group at 20m. * My MWS (Laylax arm, Crazyjet 250mm) with Vorsk 0.36 (thanks @MAX DICKER) 45mm with a flyer at 10m so roughly 90mm at 20m! Geoffs 0.32g coming, if anyone has a handful of Geoffs 0.36g they could bung in the post to me that would be great 😊1 point

WE gbbRifles
MandalShArK reacted to JimFromHorsham for a topic
nice thread 👍 I’ve been playing around with Airsoft guns for a while , and WE GBBR for quite a while now too , if I’m right and recall correctly since around 2010 . For a skirmish rifle back then the Ratech NPAS was mandatory , middle summer could see a GBBR hitting 450-500fps quite easily and they don’t last long at that on stock internals . When I played it was almost always on single shot (I also had PTW’s , all modded to semi & 3rd burst ) so living the semi auto life was an easy one and an easy transition . So a simple power reduction was all I ever did unless something failed which in all honesty wasn’t very often at all , I don’t ever recall a “catastrophic failure” or enough of one to put the gun out of play . WE GBBR get a bad rep but like most things I’d say it’s mostly user error (like mag dumping on full auto in February) and regurgitated nonsense from people who’ve never even owned one . Don’t get me wrong , gas rifles are not for everyone , you’ll be outgunned at most of your average walk-on days but used sensibly they are a lot of fun and easy to work on . Circa 2012 , a WE 416 GBBR in the wild 😛 Roll forward a few years and I’m still tinkering about but not playing anymore , but I still give the guns a good work out . Quality imo has come on nicely with the WE rifles , my only gripe is that the trademarked versions are a bit more difficult to source , im still a kit slag but I can live without that detail (just about ) . all my rifles now just get a basic inner barrel and hop rubber upgrade from maple leaf , crazy jet and 60dgr rubbers seem to give me a decent accuracy , minimal stoppages or jams and hop .30 nicely across the garden, if skirmishing presents itself again then I’ll probably go the NPAS route yet again. externally , whatever I can get my hands on .I’ve found Rails from HAO offer great value and quality , upgraded buffer tubes over the stock ones , RS pistol grips / stocks all give the rifle a much higher quality feel at not a lot of money these days . Here’s a few of my builds , I’ll chip in some more later but if anyone wants to know parts / where from etc I’ll do my best to reply & help.1 point -

Not a full loadout (imagine the usual black PJs for VC shenanigans), but I just put together my "ghillie" for Operation Boogaloo in two weeks time; VSR is similarly wrapped in a bunch of scrim net too Will attach an abundance of natural foliage on the day and be a haunted bush hunting GIs all day. Well, that and civvie recon, walking around with no military gear and having a bit of RP fun ("you shot my cow! You pay for cow, GI!") Going to make a point to not know about any objectives so if I get captured I can't tell them anything, because with how annoying I'm going to be I reckon it'll happen at some point. Going to be good escape and evasion practice, as it looks like we may be outnumbered something like 4 to 1. Last Vietnam game I went to had some fantastic escape and evasion action, so I have my hopes up. Goal is to get hit and/or captured as little as possible1 point -

VFC SCAR H in black, barely used and in great condition, the only wear and tear is on the rails from fitting and removing accessories. Rifle itself is completely stock internally and comes with one gas tight magazine. Externally fitted with an AngryGun ACR stock and metal stock adapter and a genuine Magpul Miad 1.1 grip, original stock and grip are long gone unfortunately and NOT included in the sale. Will be sent in the original box (turned inside out for shipping purposes) however the plastic insert was thrown away as the rifle doesn't fit with the ACR stock anyway, but it will be packaged securely and well wrapped. Advice for making a bandolier loadout
Alexdima579 reacted to Tackle for a topic
I've been using molle bandoleers for years, I've got a couple of the original blackhawks (no longer made☹️), but there are Chinese knock offs available for very little money that will do the job effectively. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174606742374?hash=item28a75f7366:g:BrcAAOSwHHFY-Gfi I tend to run an inverted serpa on an upside down molle mount at the top right side of my chest, followed by 4x 7.62 shingles, with a twin pistol mag pouch piggy backed on to the last (lowest) shingle which puts it down close to my left hip, setup works very well for me as a right hander, I also run a rifle sling, essentially a length of 25mm strap that starts in the centre of my chest under a shingle, drops down under my right arm mid torso & connects to the back strap on the centre of my back, on this is mounted a push button quick release connector that clips to the rifle. That set up means I can quite literally drop my rifle which will slide down to my right hip, nicely out of the way & instantly transition to my pistol, it's so fast, makes John Wick look slow lol, seriously.1 point -

I occasionally play with a bandolier type kit and having a molly panel on thin straps I gave it up, just became uncomfortable, then I found the 5.11 sling bags. Now I have a sling back and, which I use daily and doubles as a bandolier for game use. Its great, I slip mags into the internal pouches and the pistol carry slot is easy to draw from.1 point
