  1. Tried Larping at a Filmsoft weekend. I looked awesome but that level of RP wasn't me. I am just a shooter Systema Master Race The pistol rarely gets used enough to need a back up. Plus how do you beat

  10. Absolutely not, it's impossible. Your gun knows you don't have a license so the paint just drips right off like water off a ducks back!

  12. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Straight to the point. After selling my plate carrier I've found myself in need of a new webbing/chest rig as they seem comfortable, practical, lighter and so on. I did not like the plate carrier as it was heavy, bulky, uncomfortable and restricted my movement. After 3 years I've had enough of it. Therefore, my question to you lovely folk is what do you recommend as a webbing/chest rig? What are your experiences? What do you run personally and what pros and cons have you found using your rig? After few hours research it seems like Arktis 42 (see picture below) would be my choice. However, before I commit to a purchase I would like some input from the forum. Equipment that I always have with me are 6 mid-cap AR platform magazines, speed loader and occasionally a small personal radio. Thank you

  13. So I finally got my mp40. Its great I love it, fires a real treat, but the reciever and lower connection is VERY wobbly, anyone have experience with these? EDIT: I've found an old ww2 airsoft thread suggesting a 10mm O ring, I will try this

  14. I use this type. Can fit my glasses inside. The glasses can still fog but less of a problem because there is more airflow

    Krytac Hype

I'd run it stock and see what it's like as is, then look to upgrade where performance possibly lacks. As far the parts you've listed already; I'd consider a zci over the promy, significantly cheaper not significantly less quality. I don't bother with maxx hop units, they can be very good but of late I haven't had much success with over zci rotary units. Spring for any need fps changes but do it after the rubber change, as there's no point in changing a spring if your air seal improves and you gain fps there. I've also had great success lately with adding perun mosfets and leaving stock motors in place, running precock with a short stroke gear so I'd play it by ear.

  21. I am going to be a little contrary here but.... I have the ICS L85 and reading fourm posts got a G&G Susat from fire support (ignored the warning on their page that it does not fit the ICS) and when it arrived it did not fit. The G&G L85 rail is 1mm wider than standard so the susat was wobbly and could not be tightened further to fit. Even fully tightened it still moved about. I believe that there may be variants to of the G&G Susat as many people say they fit but just beware! The ICS is a millitary spec rail and will fit a real Susat. Also most of the £70 reproduction susats floating about are the same fitting. I got a random one of ebay and it was a ok.

  22. Similar position. I bought a lot of stuff over lockdown but got rid of a fair amount too. Not going completely minimalist but really streamlining my stuff and focusing on 24h games. I love, absolutely love (toy) guns, gear and gadgets, but I see them as a means to an end, rather then an end in of themselves. I'm not going to say its the end of my airsoft journey in terms of buying things but I have destination in mind and the end is in sight. Aside from a few little bits and bobs (specifically some pressure switches, and maybe a softshell jacket ready for autumn/winter), I'd like to get an mp7 (for local cqb games and gas and spring only evenings), a thermal optic (for predator mode), and much, much later down the line a sniper rifle as I'd like to try Hunteering. I will check back in next year and see whats up. Please wish me and my wallet luck. thank you.

You're not wrong. Plenty of kids who think they can take as much heat as in CoD on "Recruit". Makes it less palatable, hence this year I wanna focus entirely on getting objectives done instead of picking random firefights in the bushes. Easier said than done!

  28. cheers, good advice for life in general, get something reliable as a workhorse then buy other shit to fuck around with. obvs not applicable to women though 😛 Thanks, will look for something green gas then, current'ly have my eye on the M9 which is green gas so that works out well. Thanks man that very helpful, i use medium sized mechanix gloves, so i the pistol grip size might be an issue. I'll wasn't going to but i'll now def try see if i can handle one IRL before buying. oh yeah adjustable hop up sound important, will def look for that version. Not decided on TM v WE atm, everyone is saying TM is the better gun but I got the idea of a full metal pistol stuck in my head. will try handle different versions and see if i care after that didn't think about this, thanks for posting bro, i was looking at the ASG CZ P-09 too, my friend has one and its a v nice gun. Think he runs it stock though, no attachments, i'll ask him if this is why! I think attachments wise, will want only a holster and maybe one day a torch, but probably be a blue moon type thing, mainly play outdoor skirmish. will keep in mind. not sure i like the look of that gun tbh, but thanks for posting the option. nice to see there are a fair few more options then i expected

  30. The site looks pretty much fun from their website and I like the sound of pistol only games.... (queue the AAP-01 with a drum mag)... not too sure how I feel about running around on rubber chipping especially if there is a rubber dust problem... I suggest anyone who suffers from asthma should be wary? @leadlynow I get why you're becoming a 'dirty' speed softer... it's all that dust

@Shamal we’re running under Darkwater Security (DSEC) but it’s just the two of us. We’ll be also sticking with Bravo again. I normally set aside a bit of a budget for NAF each year, but I get ya, it’s hard to resist the temptation! Looking forward to playing with you, would be awesome to bunch up and for once do some objectives for the team! 😅

  37. My opinion personally is very rarely does anyone shift on a "good" and working gun. I appreciate there are hard times etc but a DMR is much like a bolt action sniper, usually get thrown together, don't work properly and the owner claims it's the best thing since sliced bread.

  39. I feel personally wound up. Yes, it's an offence. But it's not manufacture. It's modification, which is listed as a clear and explicit and unambiguous offence in its own right. 36 Manufacture, import and sale of realistic imitation firearms (1) A person is guilty of an offence if— (a) he manufactures a realistic imitation firearm; (b) he modifies an imitation firearm so that it becomes a realistic imitation firearm; https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/36

  41. I'm with @Druid799 on this, I've used a number of UK Airsoft retailers over the years, & more often than not they've been piss poor, everything from non existent stock, what they have got is often priced above RRP, & don't get me started on the shit eating attitude towards customers that many of them seem to have, you end up ready to slap some manners in to these twàts. I'm not a sheep, I have a bad experience, whether it's a site or a shop, you'll not get a second chance. so then my my hard earned goes elsewhere, if that means out of the UK, so be it.

  42. just my two pence on this debate. Also, free trade and open markets are great for finding deals... think of it as a more fun and rewarding insurance comparison site. You wouldnt stay with a 'local' insurance company who jacks up your cover by a £100 each year for no reason when there is another offering the same for much cheaper... you just have to put up with the inevitable asian call centre if things go sideways

  44. Just buy a DMR, then do what you want with it. At least you will know what has been done to it, where as if you buy this you could open up a can of worms - that’s entirely your choice.
