@Helyk can you get more vertical pistol grips for the MCX? Ive always been suprised SiG put such an angled grip on what is a close quarters gun. Got my P90 together and im back in love, shouldnt have sold my old one years back, running sweet at 22RPS / 325 FPS with perfect timing / no overrun fully mechanical on the original TM wiring! Just waiting on the Shadow Regime M-Trigger to land and i can hook it up with the WarFet I know Asomodai will respect the bullpup 😋

I think we lack a thread for the more creative and technical side of things like homemade accessories and 3D printing/CAD. So... what have you made? Or, are making right now? Can be anything from cutting and filing some mask to suit you, to more grandiose projects like making your own ghillie suit, or some 3D CAD model of yet another M4 handguard. Concepts and ideas are cool too if you have something to visualize it. I guess I'll start: Made a lightweight outer barrel for an M4 from scratch in fusion360: Gonna make a lightweight handguard to pair with it and then print them both in a bronze/copper finish. Dramatic weight losses inc.

So my collection has gotten big enough I'd like a decent sized, strong cabinet to store it all in. Preferably with lockable doors with additional storage in the doors. Not interested in wall hangings because I don't want to display everything for a visitor/neighbour to accidentally spot and get spooked by. @Hypokondrikern I have no idea how she performs yet as I stupidly broke the bolt catch when manhandling the trigger box. I have just received and fitted a new one, but it was too late for any testing. I will shoot it for the first time tomorrow so will report back offer that.

New rig suggestions? Ideally something that complements my helikon tmr and smersh. No plate carriers, I don't like them.

I think a flashing orange light should be attached to your swede and activated to signify you are hit. Like the ones on the motorway diggers.They can be seen for freakin' miles.💡 No misunderstanding here marshall. 😉👍 Regards

I think when you come down to it in the end there’s always going to be a high risk you’ll still get shot no matter WHAT you do to try and advertise your a ‘deadman walking’ your always going to have the “there’s movement over there , not got a clue what side there on or if there in play or not But I’ll still open fire on them just in case” players , and the “it’s only a BB gun man up and take it you pussy !” Players on the field so it’s gonna happen . Say’la’vie !🤦‍♂️

I ran up a basement stairwell into an open large CQB area with mock walls. Barrels blazing. All gun ho. Not watching where I was running. Head look on one direction. Feet running in another. Then wallop. Straight into a wooden wall. I hit it at speed and bounced off it. The marshal came running over to make sure I was ok. He did ask if I’d filled out a waiver though. That was quite thoughtful of him!!! I did sit out for 15 mins or so to get my head back on straight lol. Looking back it was well funny. Lol

Only had 2 injuries when playing, both at the same site, Ft Amherst in Chatham. First was when an unseen 50 year old coil of barbed wire hooked both feet in dense bushes, just as I was about to jump down a 5ft ledge, would've been an extreme faceplant but for the fact I'm a well disciplined old soldier, kept the rifle in my shoulder as I dived towards the ground, buried the entire barrel vertically in the soil, so all the force went straight in to my chest/shoulder, thought I was done for at the time, & my upper torso was black & blue for weeks afterwards. But thank the gods, my TM M4 escaped unharmed lol🙏. Couple of months later, took another dive down about five stone steps in what was known as the chapel, landed on a stone floor, initially thought I had a few bumps & bruises, later in the safezone one particular bump on my elbow wouldnt stop stinging, closer inspection revealed a 6mm BB buried well under the skin, but with only a tiny entry wound, much smaller than the BB itself. Ended up with a mate massaging it towards the surface, & then "popping" it like a big zit, forcing it back out through the much smaller hole. Needless to say it came out with quite a pop, lol prob hit 1j on its way out, & made a few onlookers heave in the process 🤮

I fell down a set of stairs in the dark at the Mall in Reading, hurting my leg. Hobbled up, using my PTW was a crutch and still got fucking shot. Then... Long ass time ago, I pulled a muscle while running around at Combat South Woodland. Too much kit, not enough warming up and some bad luck. Hurt for a while but meh.. All good other than that.

Actually these are just printed on paper. You take the mag apart, the clear plastic piece pops out, stick them down with selotape, trim and re-assemble. I can share file I used to print on a normal paper printer if you want?

First time playing with a GBB(Co2) for some reason i was scoping down the rail and forgot to move my head before pulling the trigger, resulting in a solid punch from the slide into my forehead. You don't realise how powerful that blow back action is until you stick your noggin right behind it.

I got a load of V2 mags and cut the tube down anyway. Ran 5 mags Sunday, gassed them the night before and I gassed them at dinner. Filled all of them up with bb’s repeatedly and it showed no sign of even slowing down. Until it stops working, I’ll always just the tubes short

Airseal is the PIA with these. I'm quite happy fitting another any upgrade hop rubber and just tightening the screw on the hop unit slider up a touch to stop it wandering. Airseals are either OK out of the box or leaky as fuck. I've three of the things and they're all the same. Silly as a better nozzle at the factory would add about 25p to the cost of the gun and stop you having to tear some of them down.

EDIT: Well...seems like someone beat me to it ---------------------------------------- If you are not familiar with 4UAD SmartAirsoft on YouTube, now's the time to check them out! It's a relatively new channel dedicated to doing methodical and scientifically sound reviews of airsoft replicas. If you ask me, they are quickly becoming the gold standard in how airsoft guns should be reviewed. Anyway, they just hit a homerun with their newest review of no other than the Tokyo Marui MWS. An absolute must watch for all followers of this thread! And if you ask me, the go-to review of the MWS (with BadaBing's being a very close second).

for a cyma i'd be saying more likely air seal giving low/inconsistent fps. the stock hop unit/barrel are ok, maybe switch to the usual ml macaron+omega and stuff some heavier ammo. last cyma i worked on hadn't much trouble lifting .3's at 1j after some air seal work and fixing a shoddy downgrade (where they take a biro pen clicker spring instead of an actual aeg spring) you wanna go baller then combat union.

I would check that the trigger box is seated fully in the lower receiver and that the fire selector is pressed in fully. After that I would look to remove it (possibly with a drift if it is stiff...just be careful!) and look for burrs or other damage to it. Then check the trigger box components it interfaces with and check the trigger function. Maybe test the trigger box out of the gun with the selector fitted?

I'm sure there used to be a "what have you 3D printed" page.....anyway, Tired of swapping chest rigs over when you switch AEG platforms?, fed up of moving pouches on and off your plate carrier when you switch from an M4 to a MP7. Well I know I was so I knocked these up. Slides into the M4 pouches easily and holds 2 mags each. The mags are held securely so when you remove one the other one isn't flapping about inside the pouch and falling out when you bend over. Right now I've got designs for TM MP7 GBB, AEG Kriss Vector and the ARP 9. I'll probably add the MP5 style mags next.

Reaper customs hpa 900rd electric fed mag. kc-02 kneecapper aka dreadd started life as a asg special teams carbine... added the following rogueworx bits, dreadd kit, hammer, trigger, charging handle, ptfe pin, tool steel bolt catch, stainless steel bolt and piston, genesis kit, and barrel spacers. X22 builders top rail, maple leaf crazy jet barrel, pink flamingo hop rubber, vision king short dot scope. And a fair few other projects still to finish lol
