I like the MK23, being a NBB your not wasting gas on the slide action, so maybe a little more performance? I like the new (ActionArmy) AAP01 Assassin Pistol, wouldn't mind one of those for a secondary. I like the MP5K also one of those with a hi-cap mag would be great fun.

Would like to display them like they did in the first Kick Ass Movie. But yeah white background is a must so they pop. I would even have low ambient LED lights under them.

I was thinking of the different action also, but then i thought what if all bolt actions had that action years ago, and say VSR's just started to be released now? I've never used one yet, but I'm sure the action would be easily over come. Just picked up my vsr now and pictured the bolt being further back and realised it wouldn't be that bad, would take a little longer to reach the trigger compared to a vsr though. I know i would like to buy one when i travel overseas for an event.

Finally finished my stock, just need to fix/attach the rear stock with a better bracket and paint the grip tan, but other than that it's 99.9% finished.

He he yeah just their views in regards to airsoft, guns their pretty good with, but they don't like replica's, just strange but thats their laws i suppose.

In this day and age, i would choose the SRS, only because you will easily spend the amount for an SRS on your VSR in the end. Of course i love the VSR, but yeah mags are not game friendly if wearing gloves, but that's an easy fix. SRS FTW.

Really surprised about reading this, Australia is a very backwards country and very behind the rest of the world and i see no reason for Canada to lower itself to that level.

My goodness i wonder what the ammo capacity is like on that. I can see that thing being held by a Juggernaut lol. Can picture 2 people tied together holding it by each grip, would have to be a mutual agreement for every shot though fun times ha ha.

I was like...yeah what is tactical, but you pretty much nailed, maybe it's a combination of a few key things. I would call the M870 tactical for sure, not big, not heavy, can conceal it, easily manourable.

I think a powder coat would look really nice also, now you got me thinking about it..but i think i will powder coat the next stock i want to build, not for this stock though. EDIT-This being my first stock it could have been much better, I'm very happy with it for it blows the original stock away. This stock took quite a few hours for i stopped going directly off my original stock and just went with that i wanted which wasn't the way to go about it. If i wanted to make a new one i could have it done in a day for i would approach it very differently. But wow what a learning curve making your own stock, very grateful for the experience for now i have the confidence to make anything now. So sadly it's undeserving of a powder coat for although it would look great, i know what lies underneath.

I was going to camo wrap it in digital green, but it's a weird camo it damn well blends into everything so decided to go just a matt black for now, can't re.ally decide for before i wanted the digital camo wrap. It wont stay black though, the original stock was matt black so would rather something different.

Thanks very much Misery, it's almost finished, just needs to be painted and finished off, different fasteners, etc. Looks rough now but should hopefully look much better soon will a matt black finish.

I've owned my VSR10 for almost 8 years now, broke the stock awhile ago, or rather i had it sitting up high and a friend knocked it off, breaking the stock in a couple of places, needless to say it was gone and beyond a tasteful repair. So i knocked up an alloy stock, thought i'd post some progress pics for my first thread. Everything is mocked up lots to do still, just need to file around the mag area so the mags slide in just right. Have to say alloy feels really nice and has an awesome weight to it. Dummy magazine for looks, but will have one of my mags sitting on top of it so will still work, but more for display than anything. The only thing left standard would be the rear cylinder end cap and the hop chamber block and hop chamber, everything else is mostly all Laylax upgrades. Shoots on a dime, i mean when you have a target you will whittle it down to the size of a small coin and then some till it's pretty much gone. Grip needs to be tan, stock will be matt black with cut outs, the cut outs will have digital green camo inserts. Bloody time consuming making a stock, but well worth it especially when it finally starts to take shape. EDIT-Extended the stock by 40mm, and wow fits like a glove, over all its around 1150mm long now.

Hi thanks very much for that! Playing there would be just amazing, so much history and yeah there's certainly an attraction, must be the trees...i love trees. The Attack Range Session sounds interesting, have you done that before? I just looked at their equipment, they only offer AEG for a primary, do they allow BASR's or would i have to take mine?

No not a marshals vest, blood red can be really hard to see sometimes, high-vis orange simply stands out, have played with those before. Ha ha what a hi-vis ghillie suit is a bad idea?
