Unless a seller can be bothered to take quality photographs (note the plural) of the their gun, with close up detail then I just ignore them. Someone who cannot be bothered to make the effort to show their gun is also likely to be haphazard in their packing and posting of an item. And make your damn bed, 30 seconds effort to have a plain and simple background without stains and pubes!3 points -

Blurred photos means a lazy seller, which generally means that you'll get some "lol m8 thnx 4 interust but i dunno wut paypal n postage wil b ill get back 2 u" message. The amount of stuff that I've not bought 2nd hand would keep Steve Glennie in hookers and blackjack money for life.3 points

Don’t know about you guys but really boils my piss when you see an add and think “oohh sounds interesting?” You go to said advert and when you open it it’s got blurred photos , too dark or too much light in the picture or best of all upside down photos ! 🤦♂️ Seriously ? you want people to part with there hard earned beer tokens and you can’t be bothered or haven’t even got the good manners to put up a decent Picture in your advert for them !1 point

hi guys, probably a stupid question, but as the title suggests, i am looking for any tips to help me perform as a better sniper. i know about ghillie suits, however im not going to invest in one just yet. i normally play as an assault/ rifleman role, but i am looking to be able to carry out sniper support roles at some of the sites i play at. my sniper rifle is the ARES WA2000 that is unmodified (yet) and currently shooting valkyrie .32g bbs (but will probably look at heavier bbs once the rifle is bedded in or valkyrie release heavier bbs) im looking for any tips regarding loadout, modifications i can do to my rifle etc. also wondering if it would be worth investing in a rangefinder, or would it be a waste of time/money1 point

Hi @Spartan09! 👋 I’ve been on the receiving end of snipers, the good and the bad! I tried sniping recently myself with a sniper, twice and remind myself of these 3 things: 🔫 1. Watch the headshots! 😵 Only aim for the head, when it’s the ONLY target showing, too many bad players think it’s a console game, like Call of Duty or Battlefield and want all the headshots they can get.... Injuries can vary and can loose teeth, which I’ve seen a lot of, in my few years at certain sites! 🤦♂️ Plus Marshals should be mentioning this at all game briefings! 🤔 2. Distance! 😵 Mentioned above the Marshals will cover this in the briefing, now it may vary at different sites, 30 metres plus, get use to this change and if not sure check with a Marshal if there is one near you.... When not looking through the site keep an eye out for friend and foe, any enemy that is too close you CAN’T shoot them with a sniper! 🤦♂️ 3. Secondary backup! 🔫 If the enemy gets too close or you go into a building, it comes in handy! 👍 Hope this helps and I’m keen to see what people think? 🤔 💷GAMBLE💷1 point

What puts me in Hulk mode is when they say "does not include optics or bi pod or sling oh and the light is extra if you want it" Please take them off before taking pic. Easy. Regards1 point

Tips for a Newbie Sniper

if you know your stuff you can be wearing plain olive and dissappear the moment you walk into a bush. i wouldn't beleive it if i hadn't seen (or more correctly not) seen it happen....1 point -
Do nothing to it. I'd try sample bags of Geoff's BBs. Then use the highest weight that it will reliably hop. Maybe use binoculars or a monocle to spot targets, then pew at them. Find a simp with an AEG who is willing to spot for you. I would. Whatever your results, be proud of them. Bring a rusty chain to thrash at the spergs who will swarm you in the safe zone to tell you about how they almost bought a WA2000, but didn't because [blah blah blah].1 point

Better yet the gun is caked in mud or general filth. Like how hard is it to not be a dirty bastard and give your shit a quick 2 sec wipe down before uploading photos of it? nobody is going to buy your stuff when it looks like it's been used as an entrenching tool.1 point

I’ll usually ask for more pictures to be emailed anyway as part of my anti scammer checks. Usually with my and the sellers user name and the date. But, decent photos from the outset would save mine and the sellers time if it’s clearly not something I’m after.1 point

Gun picture thread

Few pics of a KHC Maverick M88 (this was commented twice, once in the thread, once via pm, after I posted fotos of the collection - never expected this to be the gun that gets the most attention 😅) A real fun gun! Plastic as far as the eye can see, but surprisingly rigid and sturdy. First airsoft shotgun sporting several barrels, this shotgun fires 4 BBs through 4 barrels at once (and was released 5 years prior to the TM SPAS12 ;)) Has a BB reservoir, you simply pour BBs through an opening in the carryhandle, rack the foregrip and fire away.1 point -
From my perspective its a combo of my phone having a shit camera and not knowing how the hell you rotate photos when uploading them, for some reason even if the orientation is normal itll flip when uploaded. Of course if someone asked me for more or better pics i'm happy to oblige as far as possible.1 point

It should be great for nearly £70. Would a £9 CTR clone and a Dremel not achieve the same thing?1 point -
Cool. Look forward to the results you get. I’m interested to know what the maximum, consistent FPS you get with different bb weights. Ta.1 point

I've got a G&P 3.5 valve en route to me so I'll let you know what it's like when it arrives. Also just got myself my first chronograph so I can actually adjust things properly for BB weight.1 point

Got my new stock for my SCAR-H and LaRue RISR: Still waiting for the Angry Gun SCAR Gen II Stock Adapter v2.1 so I can attach the new stock, but damn it looks better than the Uggly Boot. I would have preferred an ACR stock but they are impossible to find online and have 0 battery space anyway even if you can get one. I had to dremel the bolt catch / release / reflector for the TM GBB SCAR-L to fit, but I like it a lot more than the stock plastic one from VFC. Who spends £40 for a single bit of something? Warhammer 40k, or airsoft players. lol.1 point -

Unfortunately not. Banks do not have the power to remove funds from someone else’s bank account without a court order and this scenario would be a civil matter. It’s infuriating but I think these rules are in place to prevent scammers gaining access to bank funds via the bank itself. Desperate or not I think scammers are scumbags. And cowards. Hiding behind their anonymity online and preying on people’s naivety. A lump hammer to the back of the hands would be too good for them Update😀1 point -

TBH I'm not the most IT literate person, but scammers really get up my nose, so if putting literally any info that's relative to them in to the public domain & therefore might curtail their activities, f#ck it, so be it.1 point -

SHS set from Pete acquired, now I can turn my ARP-9 into a proper wanker gun ❤️ In addition, I just bought an Airtech Studios hair trigger thingamajig for the G&G ETU which shortens the wank pull from the current 65 light years to roughly 2mm. Next is a drop stock.1 point -

Picked up a cybergun 249 because it was going very cheap and promptly added a ton of crap onto it XD. Its honestly pretty ok for what I paid even if it is a plastic body. Ditched the bipod straight away though because it was total garbage and replaced it with a spare harris. Unfortunately the small cloth 249 box mags are hard to find and very expensive right now so I just went with an m4 sound control drum mag for the moment .1 point -

ARES WA2000 plus nuprol scope... and scope riser to get proper sight picture1 point
