Good afternoon all, Please excuse the photo, as I won’t be back at home for a few days - it’s really a place holder until I can take some more up to date images. The first image shows the gun with all the Rogueworx MP Rail, the second and third show it with the older G rail that is included. The Tanuki adaptor is NOT included in the sale. Cat not included either Because my new job has taken over my free time, I’ve decided to thin out my collection of pews. This needs a new home. It’s about as far as you can take a KC02 and a proper unicorn build! KC02 Ruger Sporter Stock in Grey Laminate RogueworxNightwind HOM underlever Rogueworx Nightwind SSB Nightwind V2 PPT Carbon barrel Rogueworx Judgement set with Rogueworx Nightwind trigger Rogueworx Nightwind mag release Rogueworx Nightwind Morpheus handle (in case marshalls are being difficult) Rogueworx Nightwind MP rail with steel wheel Rogueworx Nightwind G Rail just in case Rogueworx Genesis kit Flamingo 60* (still bedding in, I’ll include the Autobot 70* it replaced) 510 Edgi barrel Rogueworx Silent buffer pin. Price £900 or £1,000 with a rather snazzy grey Sig Sauer Whiskey 3-9 x50 scope that frankly shits on my Vortex Crossfire 3-9 UK only, collection preferred.

One thing I would have found really helpful last time I had to do anything first aid adjacent (dog walker witha really messed up ankle in a quite difficult to reach area) space blankets...... wrong weather + shock and someones potentially gonna be in a very bad place much quicker than you might think. I mean clearly not as quick as if they're squirting but.......

Either we've been very lucky or you lot need to play different sites. Anything dropped or lost has been found and handed back to us... even pistol mags in 70 acres of woodland have found their way home.

Alternatively, someone trying to be helpful had moved it to where they thought it would be easy to find. As another example of decent site running, the Depot 1.0 exhorted people not to do this, because folk will look for them on the ground where they threw them, not at eye level somewhere else.

This. It does make me laugh that so many people will moan about how bad sites are, yet continue to go there week after week. As for the big events, imo this is just another reason to avoid them. As for marshals being volunteers, to me that makes no difference. Either do the job properly or don't volunteer

  6. Yes your summation is right, for the use case of an lmg then most mosfet features like active brake, precocking etc aren't going to be any use. Depending on how pro-active you are at battery management you might want to consider battery protection as a worthwhile feature but that's pretty much up to you. For relelatively simple setup i'm a fan of the gate stuff, in particular the nanoasr for basic protection needs which if you take the time to solder the twin wiring (super easy if soldering itself isnt a barrier one plug goes to the trigger one plug goes to the motor) and can be easily swappable for the more feature rich warfet. Out of interest is this the agm mg42? If so then i'd caution against making the mistake that i did and wiring the magazine winder into the main battery because especially on 11.1v it wont take long for the titchty little motor it has to fry.

  8. Do you live in a hard water area? If so, get a proper salt based water softener. Electronic or magnetic ones are pointless. SWMBO gets itchy skin within hours of ours running putnof salt.

  9. As other have said I think your best best is mounting something to a helmet so it will keep it off your face. Something like a replica opscore helmet and mandible. Can get the drill out and poke it full of holes and stick a mesh cover on to help with the heat or even install some fans to keep cool air moving over your skin. Good luck mate really hope you solve the issue.

  11. Been posting these old photos (around 2010-12) on social media then remembered they've never been on here either, only Arnies back in the day. The quality isn't a bug on the forum or anything, the images are just intrinsically that low resolution. Couple of iterations of my 14.5" NGRS back when I had the King Arms CASV. These days it has a carbon fibre handguard so it's just a tad lighter than the EGLM setup.

    Mosfets and LMGS...

Morning all, Apologies if this is already a thread, I am looking at fitting a mosftet to my ongoing project mg42 as I already have it open for other maintenance the thought struck me. I'm guessing it will only need a simple variation/model as it only has full auto, but I am a newcomer to the mosfets and this will be the first I fit ideally looking for a drop in kit, then possibly look for a more advanced mosftet for my JG G36 in the future depending on how well it goes. I am confident in soldering wiring etc just looking for a drop kit to make it a bit easier. If anybody has any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  14. at least within the gate family of mosfets it's plug and play, not that you're gonna need anything fancier than the nanoasr for a 42. smarter than me then the spring change is one thing, but the other major flaw (other than the weak receiver which bends if you look at it funny) in the agm design is the split gearbox will play merry hell with angle of engagement especially if the grip assembly is loose, ended up (albeit slowly and with some shenanigans along the way) hpa'ing mine after i got fed up with it eating pistons every 5 minutes.

Nobody does mouth to mouth because its disgusting That's the main reason they've tried encouraging laypeople to go compression only, its better than nothing and you have better luck convincing them to do it. Usually youll have a lovely pool of saliva and other assorted fluids at the back of the mouth to deal with, which leak everywhere, and probably a load of vomit too, and some blood if youre doing those compressions hard enough. No way Im putting my mouth anywhere near that, even with one of those little plastic sheet mouth shield things. I would maybe, MAYBE consider it if it were one of my nearest and dearest, but on a stranger? Absolutely no chance. As for the aspirin debate, ideally you want dispersable that'll dissolve on you tongue and absorbed directly via buccal/sub lingual route. Unless theyre deathly allergic to it, the benefit greatly outweighs any risk. None of this nonsense about prescribing or not knowing their history or anything like that. Just ask them "Got chest pain and you look like a grey, pale, sweaty mess, feel like shit? Fancy an aspirin just in case, not allergic are you?" and if theyre not in a position to answer you, dont go sticking things in their mouth. Same as the fling you met at the pub

  16. My County Sheriff LEO loadout, just unsure whether to swap the chest panel for a VX plate carrier and awaiting a full length MP5A4 to arrrive. Carrying a Glock 17 with GTL10 on belt with 2x extra mags and the chest panel has 4x MP5 midcaps with a Glock 27 and 2x extra mags. Just need to swap the plain brown cap for a King County sheriff one and should be done.

You have to play at places where the marshals/owners give a crap though. Big events like AI, NAE etc - Too many players, too little time - and quite often are volunteers - nice that you had that experience with marshals but it is very, very rare.

The training I was given stated that there's enough oxygen in the blood to not need to give rescue breaths during CPR and that you're better continuing with compressions. As for the song......baby shark do do do

  22. You're certainly not being silly for being concerned about your health and anyone who says otherwise is a cnut who should be ignored. Have you tried bending the mesh into a more comfortable? If this isn't possible then I'd go with TPH's suggestion of attaching the mask to a helmet. Replica brain buckets can be picked up quite cheaply on Amazon or Ebay. My other half gets quite bad eczema and unfortunately 99% of the over the counter creams like E45 are absolutely useless

Don't get me wrong. I personally don't give a monkey's about a scammer's privacy or protecting their personal info when they are bad actors. I just wouldn't want to see a forum or marketplace being stitched up on a technicality because some slimy ambulance chaser saw an opportunity to defend a scammer's "rights".

  24. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161809509439? - This may sort you out. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202561750943? - Stick a mesh mask on this. Just drill a hole in each side and bolt a mesh mask on. You may need some spacers/washers, and something to stop it pivoting too far down. I'd stick to the Bolles beneath each though.

And this is probably a good point to get across in this topic. Leave first aid to trained professional if at all possible. If they need your help they will ask for it. To give an example, an old bloke, not unlike myself, falls over and stops breathing. You arrive on the scene and decide to administer chest compressions after doing the ABC's. Now some of the older gentlemen on here will jump in with 15 and 2, some of the slightly younger peeps will go for straight compressions and the new kids on the block will be doing 30 and 2 as per the current guidelines. It turns out that it was in vain and the old fella never recovers. sad times all round. Now, the old fella was a top bloke but his family turn out to be arseholes. All 3 options above showed a willingness to preserve life but only 1 was concurrent with the latest guidelines so anyone doing either of the first 2 could be liable to a negligence claim. probably most of you reading this will be thinking, "I'd do it anyway" which is the right answer but just remember the world is full of arseholes. Also don't be handing out over the counter drugs to people as you have no idea of their medical history or what other medication they may have taken.

  28. My green QD suppressor has been my preferred thing to run on my VFC HK416 for a while, but I've had a few rounds pinging out of it at odd angles. So what's a man to do but spend some money on an alternative (that might be even worse!) Yup, I bought a barrel extension, and although I've not test-fired to see if it's going to interfere with the BBs, it sure looks bad-ass to my eyes £15 inc p&p from eBay (It's Bullseye Country Sports' ebay shop)

  29. You probably know yourself @Colin Allen but there are playing fields very near to Red1 Chislehurst and there will often be kids playing footy on a Sunday morn, both times I've been down there marshals made a point during briefing of telling players not to shoot out into the playing fields on purpose. The fact people need to be told (and will still subsequently ignore it if they think they can get away with it) does indicate the generally pitiful state of the moral and intellectual playing field. As a relatively new player I find the 'safe' zone to feel quite unnerving most of the time and I do find myself worrying about how blasé other people are r.e safety. Making those barrel socks mandatory in the safe area seems like a no brainer. It almost seems like the sort of thing that airsofters and site owners should throw their weight behind en masse. Seems like such a simple and effective solution to make things safer
    1 point
  30. No, which is why sites need to deal far more robustly with the fuckwits. At one of my regular sites, part of the safety brief warns players not to shoot towards the few adjacent properties and sets out the consequences. They can only be shot towards from a very small area of the very large site and are situated such that they are not in the line of fire for any games; you have to make a conscious decision to shoot at people's homes. Just before the last game, a player started shooting towards them; a very angry site owner told him rather forcefully to leave the site. One of the things that I like about the site is that they are not afraid to throw out people who are behaving like idiots or ruining the day for other people.

  31. a site can have all the clear signage, shouty marshalls and mandatory things you stick on the end of it. the question is: do we trust the average airsofter to do it? the answer?

Evening all, unfortunate post… my TRMR was stolen down at Ucap Bunker this evening. S/N 6204 - Purple single shot engraved with J.G just a word of warning to anyone if they see a TRMR up for sale on the classifieds. Photos of when I got it. Obviously will look a lot worse now after 4 years of being thrown around. I know it’s probably long gone now and won’t be returned but no harm in putting the word out.

I bought a TRMR multishot when they were brand spanking new in the hot pink colour, hot off the press, then used it for the first time at AI500 at Kirton on Lindsey - I was the only person using a pink one out of a couple of hundred people and on the sunday it went missing in the afternoon - some scrote pinched it on the spot - i'd cycled maybe 3 blanks through it. If the airtag wasn't so ginormous, i'd use one in everything that could develop legs going forward.
