  1. At the risk of throwing petrol on the fire, when challenged about shooting in the garden, you changed to shooting in the house. Are your parents comfortable with this arrangement. If we had kids, the little shits would be sleeping in the garage if they decided to ruin my walls. From reading this thread, the mental image I have of you is: you’re 20% RGB keyboard, 20% Monster energy, 10% edgy teenager and 50% dickhead
  2. So, off the bat. It sounds like a regulator refresh rate issue. This could be mitigated by ramping up the pressure on the regulator - but you’ll want to check with a chrono what your gun’s output power ends up at. Increasing the psi doesn’t make a directly proportional increase in power, in fact, you may find that you get little to no change in output as the rocket valve still closes at the same rate, but the cycling should become significantly more responsive and snappy. Finally, I’ve learnt not to trust the gauges on regulators. Take it as an approximation of the pressure. I have two Speed Pro regs that give wildly different results when both are set to the same pressure. Increase the pressure until your gun cycles reliably and use whatever the gauge says as your reference for where it needs to be in the future
  3. I’m not sure if this is cursed or amazing but I love it. Thanks @MILITATED the Strike adaptor is perfect and arrived in no time. Air tank was running fairly low by the time I got to testing the short bolt but it seems to be in that golden 15-20rps range and tuned to bang on 1J output with 0.32’s. (Excuse the floppy anti-rotation bars!) IMG_4055.mov
  4. I know I bring this one out whenever one of these threads appears but… Based on a real gun, if you stormed Omaha beach without dying, in 10 minutes and with 20 kills back in 1944 you’d be able to equipment this chrome and carbon monstrosity when you next saw your quartermaster. Built to try and tempt the wife into playing, she had said she wanted something that looked like it was from Borderlands. She ended up refusing to play and this got sold on…. King Arms Chrome receiver set and hydro dipped furniture. The icing on the upsetty-spaghetti for a real purist is that I cut the ears off the rear sight and drilled it to be a mounting fixture for the mini red dot
  5. Got bored over Christmas and treated myself to some Hi-Capa bits and some bits off Brownells for one of my AR’s.
  6. God help whoever sells it to you
  7. Bit of a break from what would normally feature in this thread but it’s been a weird year and I’ve not been pumping out my normal capas or KC02 stuff. Treated myself to something genuinely epic, VTL ST150. It’s not a microwave, it’s a chonk of a valve power amp and it’s going to keep me warm whilst I miss even more weekends and games… Did buy some Airsoft stuff this week to try and make a WE MP5k CQBable so I can try and sneak in a few Thursday night games (torch/tracer etc) so hopefully that makes up for the non Airsoft piccies

Good evening you lovely people, As many of you are aware, since a change of jobs my time to play has become fairly scant. I’ve got some absolutely brilliant pews that simply don’t get the use they deserve and I’ve decided that I should further reduce my collection in light of this. Today, I offer to you a very special Hicapa build. Scratch built Limcat Steel Cat open Steelcat Slide/outer and compensator set Airsoft Masterpiece 2011 Frame Airsoft Masterpiece Limcat Grip Airsoft Masterpiece Limcat Hammer Nexx TDC hop/autobot 60*/tightbore Nexx trigger with Airsoft Masterpiece bow JLP red dot mount with repro Vortex Viper Airsoft Masterpiece internals CCT bbu/TM nozzle Hard to find Clarence Lai thumb safety Elite beaver tail 140% Nozzle spring 120% hammer and recoil springs This was configured to be my outdoor Capa and runs like a beast. Makes a fantastic noise and turns a lot of heads. The first time you rack it and reveal the split between comp and slide, you cannot help but smile - it’s a very cool build. As my builds are built to play with and not shelf warm, there’s a tiny bit of damage to one of the knife cuts on the slide. It’s pictured. If I didn’t mention it, I’m not sure many would notice it, but that’s not how I roll. God only knows how much this cost to build, it’s probably run me £1,400 or so. £700 and it’s yours. If I see it on Instagram with weebo grip stickers, I’ll find you. Unless you happen to own a real life Emily Ratajkowski, I’m not interested in trades and she’s probably not interested in Hicapas

    £700

  9. Had an amazing day at Red Alert last weekend. Great marshalling team and a really well put-together site. Everytime I’ve played RA there’s been a good atmosphere and a distinct lack of poor sportsmanship, very happy to say this was the case for this game too. Got snapped a few times as we were attacking the “embassy”. Cheeky sidearm kills are always 10x more satisfying than primary kills Ran a HPA tapped WA Salient Arms AR and WE MP5k for the day, made a lot of noise and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
  10. Picked up a WE Apache MP5k, I was not prepared for how tiny it is!

Good afternoon Gents (and not gents) For sale is a Vortex Crossfire 2, I’m not going to mention the warranty - that’s not how you sell an optic. This is a magnificent optic, one that will improve exponentially your game due to the massive increase in acuity you will have over your foes. Imagine strapping this to your AEG, you’ll be able to clearly see your bb’s falling short of your target. This shouldn’t, and won’t, stop you accusing everyone of being a cheat. The mount is the finest Chinese knock off but looks cool as balls. There is some damage to the front of the scope but I’m sure there’s something Vortex can do if it really, really bothers you enough to send it to be exchanged. I’ll ship it in a Hawke scope box £100 shipped to the UK

Good afternoon all, Please excuse the photo, as I won’t be back at home for a few days - it’s really a place holder until I can take some more up to date images. The first image shows the gun with all the Rogueworx MP Rail, the second and third show it with the older G rail that is included. The Tanuki adaptor is NOT included in the sale. Cat not included either Because my new job has taken over my free time, I’ve decided to thin out my collection of pews. This needs a new home. It’s about as far as you can take a KC02 and a proper unicorn build! KC02 Ruger Sporter Stock in Grey Laminate RogueworxNightwind HOM underlever Rogueworx Nightwind SSB Nightwind V2 PPT Carbon barrel Rogueworx Judgement set with Rogueworx Nightwind trigger Rogueworx Nightwind mag release Rogueworx Nightwind Morpheus handle (in case marshalls are being difficult) Rogueworx Nightwind MP rail with steel wheel Rogueworx Nightwind G Rail just in case Rogueworx Genesis kit Flamingo 60* (still bedding in, I’ll include the Autobot 70* it replaced) 510 Edgi barrel Rogueworx Silent buffer pin. Price £900 or £1,000 with a rather snazzy grey Sig Sauer Whiskey 3-9 x50 scope that frankly shits on my Vortex Crossfire 3-9 UK only, collection preferred.

    £1,000

  13. @Enid_Puceflange that Sig is a hard act to follow but here’s my stuff for tomorrow. Salient Arms WA GBBR SR15 DMR WA GBBR

    GHK G5's

They’re about to become very sought after - it’s the next project gun for www.Rogueworx.com New bolt, nozzle, FCG, tdc hop etc coming over the next couple of years… the G5 currently has a moulding issue in the lower receiver that makes them crack. This is the first thing that’s being sorted, via a reinforcement kit called the ZENITH. This will allow the G5 to use Devilhunter modded mags and take the temperature sensitivity of gas mags out of the equation. Should be fun times
  15. Ran this thing at ZedMart last night, it absolutely slayed! Thats a Ruger Charger stock, it’s recommended to be used in combination with a bipod as a backpack varmint rifle but it makes an absolute demon of a CQB gun I am paying the price today for my slightly devil-may-care playstyle during last nights game. Did a bit of rushing in and I’m absolutely covered in welts… this is probably the worst
  16. Slapped a Unity riser and a GHK FCG in this G&P SAI. Kicks like a mule Also tested out the new Samoon GHK Alu feedlips on my Airtac adaptor, fit perfectly and should be nigh on indestructible for full auto noisiness
  17. Saw a comment earlier on about how the A1 Raptor or the SSQ would be better than a stock KC02. For anyone that cares, this is nonsense because: •The Nov/A1A gun is made of the cheapest, heaviest and most brittle pot metal. There’s the leftover redundant front section from the A1A’s take down function, meaning the only thing that centres and retains the outer barrel assembly is the rail. •The “improved” tdc wheel has no tensioner. It’ll happily just adjust itself from the action of the bolt. •The A1A banana mags are infamously leaky, potential hand grenades. The KC02 mags are indestructible. •The Novristch team left behind several redundant parts from the A1A’s trigger box, one of these being the full auto sear. The split sear system in those full auto packs is terrible and I can see many of these guns refusing to fire in semi auto soon. • The roller bearing on the hammer is going to destroy the Chinesium bolt carrier on the SSQ22. Finally, the feedback I’ve had on the feel of the SSQ is that the quality of the plastics is comparable to a cheap Nerf gun. Stock KC = much better base gun for a build. If you’re curious about the Novristch, the sales section will be full of them soon. Rogueworx are designing a replacement hop unit and nozzle for this dumpster fire. Give it a year or so and the SSQ may be a good platform As a Brucey bonus for getting to the end of my wall of text, here are my own rather naughty KC02 builds. @Speedbird_666 Buy a KC, slap it in a Ruger stock and stand out as the guy with the all-American plinkster at your next game day
  18. Moved into an export account manager role for my favourite manufacturer, travel is a killer. Last month, I’ve been to Denmark, France, Belgium and Holland. Next, I’m in Germany for 10 days… Months are just falling off the calendar The SSQ - It’s got some nice ideas but the platform that they’re basing it on is infamously terrible. It’s still got half of the takedown feature on the receiver so the only fixture point for the barrel is the rail, which is not exactly ideal… The trigger box is easier to work on than the KC02 as the side comes off. Bonus! The infamously fragile parts like the bolt-stop have been replaced with fairly primitive water cut steel parts. They’ll certainly last longer. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the internals, the gun still has an auto sear in the trigger box. It’s redundant as they binned the selector but the gun still has two sears?! The A1A nozzles are known to bulge, crack and shear. The inner barrel is VSR cut but a proprietary fit and outer diameter. The receiver is made of the heaviest and crappiest pot metal. It’s almost twice the weight of a KC02 receiver. The Rogueworx guys are working on bringing out a proper hop conversion and good nozzle for it. It’s not terrible, it’s just a shame they chose a flawed starting pew
  19. Thanks Steve! I’ve just sold the Black and Gold combo as my new job is kicking my arse and I’ve only managed to play once since December. Did find a new obsession though, been secretly buying WA Spec AR’s and filling em with RS parts… Ironic selling guns because they don’t get any use and then buying more because I’m bored… In other news, some of you will likely have seen Novristch has released a not-quite-a-KC02. The Novristch gun is based on the A1A Raptor and has some dimensional and parts differences. You will eventually be able to fill them with RogueWorx parts but for now, their (amazing) VSR hop conversion and nozzle don’t fit the Novristch gun - due to the unusual sizing of the hop wheel on the A1A thanks to the takedown feature that hasn’t made it to the Novritsch gun.
  20. I’ve completely converted to HPA powered GBBR’s these days. Magwell converters allow for use of AEG magazines and VSR hop conversions allow for amazing ability to lift heavy pellets accurately. I’ve converted a few GBBR’s for each role - WA M4 for short range/mobile, KC02’s for DMR or sniper roles. For me, it’s the best compromise of all three options. I get HPA consistency, AEG ammo capacity and GBBR realism. Occasionally I get outdone by a speedboi running a Kythera at 2875rps but I always walk back to respawn with a smile on my face. Some people consider magwell adaptors to be the height of heresy, I don’t think these look too bad.
  21. Edging closer to finishing this pew, tried playing with it on Saturday and the GBL hop unit was sending everything to the moon. Slapped an Autobot in there to see if it helps next time around. Amazing recoil with the steel RA Tech bolt at 150psi Real PTS BUIS, Strike stock and grip and a real Eotech slapped on top. Base pew is a G&P Salient Arms WA system - but with the chamber swapped out more more modern and less proprietary parts
  22. Certainly did, Jack Acaster of Airsoft Engraver is the man to see. He might even still have my files for you to use?
  23. This was what I wanted to copy - except I didn’t like the silver CTM grips hence went black. (This gun shop in Florida was bigger than most Tesco in the Uk)
  24. I went this way with mine, a mate is going to recess some Ruger grip medallions into another set of wooden grips to finish the build for me
  25. That’s the Airtac GHK G5 adaptor, needed a bit of sanding to the G&P magwell to get it to fit
