  1. Initial findings are very nice. Light as hell, but the mag wobbles a lot. Gaming with it this coming week. I’ll let you know. UPDATE Just programmed the etu and put it through the chrono. Programming was super easy and quick to do. Literally a combination of selector switch turns and trigger pulls. On the chrono it is a very steady 309 fps on .2's. 40 shots fired and a total of 4 fps deviation. This is my first pdw style rif, but so far I'm very impressed with quality and the etu. Game day (cqb) on Tuesday evening, so will report back then.
  2. Hi, I hadn’t considered keeping it extended. Works a treat. Thank you.
  3. Good morning all. I've just purchased a Zion Arms PW9 Mod 1. I also purchased the recommended 11.1 1300 lipo battery for it, it doesn't fit. Can any owners of the PW9 please tell me what battery they are using? I suspect I'll have to use a 7.4 to fit in the buffer tube to allow room for the wires. Thank you
  4. Which is what I exactly believe happened to my czp09 poly slide when I put an aftermarket threaded barrel in it
  5. Last time I looked an aftermarket threaded barrel was around £60. Add that to the £149 price of the pistol and it’s expensive. I think I missed the word *top in my response. Crazy money on top of the price of the pistol to get a threaded barrel. The cost of the gun is acceptable, just the expense of the threaded barrel
  6. The only thing about TM m9’s is the lack of threaded barrel for tracer units. And in no way am I shelling out crazy money on an already top end pistol to accommodate that. But I do want one. In winter?
  7. I have big love for m9 pistols, I’m not exactly sure why or where this comes from, but I always reach for my m9 for CQB games. Anyway, my question is: In theory, by design the m9 platform should have a better gas efficiency (including during our cold damp U.K. winters) with its significant cut away top slide……therefore it should perform a bit better than say my aa1911 during winter…..or is my thinking too simple?
  8. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lancer-tactical-lt-32-gen-3-etu-nebula-7-m-lok-aeg?fv=20440 I think this may tick the box's
  9. I personally wouldn’t touch an aep. And aesthetically p90’s are about as attractive as the thought of a prostate exam. I had a very compact and decent powered specna arms SA-C10 a couple of years ago, all polymer and very lightweight. Sold it to fund current ak.
  10. Some interesting and overlooked (by me) options, thank you all. However, I recently got my son a TM mp7 for his birthday. He has just said that I could use that outdoors as he's loved up with his, and my ak's. Additional mags and that could work, couldn't it?
  11. Hi I’m in my late 40’s and for the past 2 years my now 15 yr old son has dragged me into Airsoft. I’m now 100% in love with it. We play both indoor CQB and outdoors regularly at our local sites. I have arthritis in my right shoulder (right handed) and for outdoors I currently use a Cyma AK74U CM0.45 with some more modern furniture, which is a heavy beast. I’m looking to get a new AEG for outdoor use but it has to be light, as in around or sub 2 kgs. Can anyone please recommend an AEG that is lightweight, be it AK, M4 ? Many thanks
  12. Hi Im interested in getting some magazine pouches for my TM MP7, I like the look of the kydex ones from deadly customs. Has anyone got any experience with these pouches or the company please? Many thanks
  13. Another good day had at Tier 1 Badlands, Cornwall. End of summer holiday games were fast and involved a new element of domination. The site has literally grown to be a great venue and is very well ran. A good day was had.
  14. Exactly the same thing here. Otherwise superb.
