The Dyslexic in me made sense of it straight away - perhaps the responder has a similarly operating mind. Yes it should have been clearer, but it's hardly Apple Corp or Tesco type organisations we're dealing with. Mind you, I spot typo's in all sorts of website sites and publications. Hell, I sent a letter from my son's school back with red marks on the errors with a post-it saying that we should expect better from a Grade 1 Ofsted listed school. I wasn't very popular. 😁3 points -

Another reluctant sale due to poor health. Cam870 'L74A1' build, body is a MKII, with G&P steel folding stock, APS magazine tube extension, APS real wood forend and is fitted with the MKIII bolt which uses CO2 stored in the shells, NOT the bolt like previously. Has been on display since purchase, and, as all my RIF's, is in great condition with only minor signs of wear and tear. Comes with four boxes of gas tight (always stored with a little maintenance gas) shells, a pretty much full tube of reusable flower wads, a handful of reusable slug rounds, and a big boy CO2 charger. £350 collected from Snodland in Kent, or £375 including postage and PayPal.£375

looking at the design of the mags I think a external mag will follow soon. If not it should be pretty easy make an adapter to feed externally. the only issue is how to get gas into it if the baw sack is feeding BB's instead of gas.1 point -

From my own experience if the MP5 has a fuse it will usually be a small distance along the power cables from the battery connector (either a blade fuse or a cylinder in a plastic housing), however you may have a MOSFET / controller of some sort so if you do the fuse in a component of that. I'd temporarily connect the motor to the terminals of another gun whilst leaving it outside of the gun (either hold the motor or put something heavy on it), pull the trigger on semi and get ready to disconnect the battery, if it spins then the motor's fine and either there is a fuse somewhere in the MP5 or the fuse in the MOSFET is blown (which means a new MOSFET unfortunately, unless you're able to replace surface mounted electronics).1 point

Which MP5 SD6 to go for?
BigBell1987 reacted to Impulse for a topic
I'm a big fan of the Cyma mp5 models. The mp5sd6 isn't one of their platinums, but I have their non-platinum mp5k and it's one hell of a workhorse of a gun. Swapped the hop rubber and nub and it's performing incredibly well. The body on mine is a little wobbly, but that's more because I dropped it on the concrete floor at AI500 in Dover and two parts that hold the upper and lower receiver together snapped off (it's still fine as the pins hold it in place, but there's a bit of wobble). I think if I was going to get a full-size mp5 (probably won't as I have an mp5k, mp9 and plan on getting an mp7), I'd go for a Cyma again.1 point -

I've got an old G&G one that my youngest uses. Its a bit fiddly to strip down and a tad heavy for him (he's 10) but to be honest it just keeps on rocking along. Its been abused---i think im the third owner--- and has had no upgrades (yet ). I dread to think how many bb's have travelled down the barrel! It doesnt creak a lot but the boy managed to lose the hand grip cover pins..1 point -

The guy from the site does not state that the limit is 300fps on 0.28g. He states that they have a maximum BB weight of 0.28g, that the limit for chrono is 350fps on 0.20g except for HPA weapons, which are limited to 300fps on 0.20g, which should make the guy who is allergic to HPA happy. He just explains it really badly.1 point -

I mean I did. I bought the MP5A5 version of it but I stricly play indoor and I've seen range reviews about it so I knew what I buy into it. Right now it's one of the best (if not the best) EBB MP5 on the market. If you insist on the SD6 variant I think you're gonna end up with less options overall.1 point -

REDCON 2 Pics have landed too.... Epic battle to hold Echo Base: Which involved me scrambling around back and forth across a track Medicing teammates under fire (my knees are paying for it today): At one point I was on my tod: The boy at one point went off with another squad to do an objective at the Lynx: Turns out Blues pipped us to the victory overall by a couple of points - although we had three dud mortar rounds; which was a bit harsh LOL. My only real criticism would be too much hanging around in the safe zone. I reckon we could have had at least one extra game, maybe two.1 point -

You can put O rings on to make it stiffer I believe that's CYMAs work around. The problem is it's one of TMs earliest Hop designs they have made great strides and I'll put money on the NRGS having better range than the other MP5s. If you really want light weight, compact and above average range I would really look at the P90 over the MP5.1 point -

Site: Dogtag airsoft Crawley Attending: me, mate and the boy Ok, one of my mates has been trying to get me to go to Dogtag airsoft in sunny crawley for a while. I finally had a spare weekend and thought i'd give it a shot. Got there early with a maccy D's (meet up point with my mate and feeble excuse for food!) in hand. The Access road and my car didnt get on much as it got sport suspension and its a tad bumpy. Still, we survived. Gates opened at 8:30 on the button. into the carpark and a short walk to the safe zone to unload a ton of kit. One of the joys of taking your kids, they break stuff a lot, so i take a huge tool box and it just seems to get heavier! First impressions were good, lots of covered stalls and plenty of them too. Set up, signed in easily enough, wristband of the "hairy wrist removal" type and chrono'd the pews. Simples. Safety brief was just that. Safe and brief. The marshal stopped a couple of times to get people to actually listen, which was nice. Tea and water was free issue. YAY! caffeine!! Marshalls were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Big group of first timers next to us were asking all sorts of "first timer" questions and were given the info they needed. Daft questions are only the ones you dont ask, right? First game and happy to say, me and the boy were the first 2 to die!!! LOL! Fall back to the next section and await the arrival of the attacking team. Lots of encouragement from the marshalls, lots of skirmishes and firefights. I had no idea the site was as big as it was. The place is HUGE!!! 2nd game was a swap around of the first, learned by my mistakes this time, still got shot in the nuts though. Back to safe zone at the end of the game, reload, needed somewhere to get hot food but apparently thats being sorted out shortly after their usual guy parted company with them. Really good crowd. Good mix of noobs, casuals, nutters and seasoned players. Everyone was friendly. No stitch counters that i could see. I saw very little in the way of blatant cheating. Marshall seemed to be in the thick of it every time i looked which probably helped. The First timers were having an absolute scream and came back to safezone bouncing with excitement (i imagine lots of war stories at work today, wherever they are!). They looked like they had a blast! Good mix of games in the afternoon, some proper up close and personal stuff mixed with long rangey stuff for the bolters. Left knackered and happy. Pros: Great site. Great staff. Great games. Cons: Need a shop on site so i can "win more pews in the raffle " type of thing. Also the Infinity ammo they sell does not agree with any of my pews. Shonky quality but hey, small con really. Conclusion: I'LL BE BACK!!!!1 point
-
Yeah I would never visit a site again that is like that. Normally if you kindly suggest players that are the furthest back try moving up themselves they wind their necks in. If you suspect someone isn't taking a hit you can slowly ramp up how much you shoot them, rather than deciding "better shoot every player I see 30 times for the rest of the day" which I don't think anyone is saying anyway. You can operate on the assumption you just aren't hitting them or are hitting them somewhere they aren't noticing. It's fairly easy to use discretion here.1 point

Unspoken rules in airsoft?
SSPKali reacted to Dan Robinson for a topic
Me too. I feel a total cnut otherwise. I think Reforger play it as a rule.... But it's a matter of honour really. We've lost mags, even guns... They've always been handed in, and I think that makes airsoft special as does the friendly banter in the safe zone. That was something I should have mentioned about Saturday at High Wycombe. We had a marvellous chat with some Aussies on a 6 month world tour.1 point -

Hello, in Europe (mostly Germany, NL and the UK) and Asia we have dedicated PolSim events where we recreate situations that could happen to real life police. In the case of normal uniformed officers things like noise disturbances, car chases, traffic stops etc. and sometimes those situations escelate (planned) and we have things like hostage situations, active shooters, etc. It's pretty interesting. You could call it roleplay. With kind regards, a guy who has been doing polsim in Germany actively for almost 2½ years now and has been on all events since then. And just to get a feel: here a few diffrent units we recreate and diffrent kits/ specializations Depends on which SEK. Since the SEK is part of the LKA (Landeskiminalamt = State Criminal Police) every one of the 16 SEK units in Germany use diffrent kits sonce every state orders on their own. M But most use an inner belt from md textil (mostly the MGS or MGS SpezKr) with and outer belt from either md textil or Lindnerhof. But most are custom models that are not available for the public.1 point
