  1. pretty much the only reason to say no would be if you want to buy it thinking it might be some kind of investment that will appreciate in value. if you want it because, well, you just want it, and are happy with whatever the pricetag is then that's pretty much the standard criteria for buying an airsoft pew fulfilled.

    THE TM MWS thread

Some BB testing at 10m today, Vorsk 0.36g lead the pack and are much tighter than stock MWS on BLS BBs (according to 4uad airsofts tests) I used two 0.1mm AEG shims to stop the hop arm moving side to side but have the stock TM rubber in there at the moment. * 4uad tested Stock MWS 120mm diagonal group at 20m. * My MWS (Laylax arm, Crazyjet 250mm) with Vorsk 0.36 (thanks @MAX DICKER) 45mm with a flyer at 10m so roughly 90mm at 20m! Geoffs 0.32g coming, if anyone has a handful of Geoffs 0.36g they could bung in the post to me that would be great ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. I have just stumbled across a S&T DSR-1. It's the air cocking type in tan. I didn't know they did it in tan and it comes with all sorts of barrel attachments and a quick release silencer. It's not cheap. I have the ares gas and love it but thus looks amazing in tan.

  8. Make/brand: Western Arms Any accessories included: N/A Pictures: Attached. Acquired from a friend who left Airsoft some time ago, this piece is in original condition with some minor holstering marks. Was opened up last week by a very respected Western Arms Tech - and confirmed as being all original parts in "as new" condition. Interested in genuine comments / feedback. Many Thanks Brian

    Classic army M14 match

    This advert is COMPLETED!

    • For sale
    • Used

Here I have my classic army M14 match edition great feeling gun with good weight and feel to it. I have owned the gun from new it was used twice then Placed in it's box untill taking it to UK Airsoft Sheffield to get it serviced, rewired and switched to mini taimya connector April 2022. The gun it's self is fully functional. In really good condition all the body has minimal scratches no dings or cracks. The stock is polymer and the reciever, bolt carrier and barrel assembly is all metal. FPs wise stock I think was around 330 on 0.2g BBS The mag is a 470 hi cap magazine full metal its missing the fill window door so is taped it still functioning and feeding fine Based in Sheffield but will post using parcel force 48 I'm looking for ยฃ140 all in including postage Ono

  14. The hamster is absolutely spot on , it comes down to what you personally like AND what your willing to pay for that something , but never ever buy anything thinking itโ€™s an investment , it wonโ€™t be airsoft is just too much of a โ€˜nicheโ€™ sport with too few dedicated players to buy and keep things as investments . Iโ€™ve always had the outlook of โ€œif I can afford something and I want it then Iโ€™ll buy it , Iโ€™ve got an awful lot of guns Iโ€™ve bought over the years that Iโ€™ve probably only used two or three times if that but Iโ€™ve still got them because I wanted it simple as that really . Good example is the pulse rifle I recently bought , first gameday I took it too I used it for one short game put it back in the bag and to be honest unless itโ€™s going to be a โ€™themedโ€™ game I canโ€™t really see me using it again BUT Iโ€™d never get rid of it as Iโ€™ve always wanted one .๐Ÿ‘

How do all, Very new to all this. Started as the sacrificial parent when my son wanted to try the local CQB site. Long story short, ended up loving it and it becoming addictive. Recently purchased a GBB pistol for myself and already looking at how i can put better parts in, Sons birthday this month and we have got him his fist RIF, an ares amoeba am-014. Be good to find new places to go, shops, events etc round the northwest. Have a boss day folks!

M4/16 tech tip. Even though there are a few vids on YouTube regarding this, I just wanted to put this up as a short cut for anyone who needs itโ€ฆ Bolt stop function. probably the most ( and generally only) disappointing thing about the m4 platform for me was the quickly deteriorating bolt stop function. I scratched my head and tried several mods to improve this; adding material to the underside of the bolt stop arm, removing material from the lug on the side of the bolt stop arm, even removing the spring behind the bolt stop. then I found a YouTube channel which explained that if you bought some aeg gear box shims, and placed one either side of the bolt stop, held in with the pin, this solves the issue by stopping the bolt stop from moving laterally, taking any play out. to my surprise and joy, this solved it immediately, resulting in 100% bolt lock on empty. so , donโ€™t despair. There is a simple fix that anyone can do in less than five minutes!!

  23. @PTRCheck out www.HiCapaHub.co.uk Kyle is the font of all wisdom for capas on this cold, wet and windy island and to cap it off, heโ€™s a top bloke. He carries the Airsoft Masterpiece range, which are the go-tos if you want to do it once, properly 120% hammer and recoil and spring set and barrel spacer should be all you need. Personally, Iโ€™d change the bbu at the same time as the TM part is incredibly heavy

  26. Way back when the VCR kicked in the very same small group of retailers who really pushed for the UKARA scheme to be the only way to be able to buy RIFโ€™s , which would basically allow them to control the market(allegedly of course) once it was in place THEN turned around and created Two-tones to circumvent the UKARA scheme so they could still sell cheap ass CARโ€™s (Chav Assault Rifles) to the unwashed masses ! UCAP took a stance over it and have stood by that stance and Iโ€™ve always supported them for that .
    1 point
  27. UCAP have been against 2 tones since they were an idea, the reasoning is that the defence against the VCRA was that airsoft needed RIFs to aid in the suspension of disbelief when re-enacting military/LE scenarios and IFs undermine that concept. I say vote with your wallet and go wherever works for you, it's not like there's no alternative nowadays.

  28. I agree with hitmanno2. Unfortunately they're not worth as much as they should be. Very nice though. I think you're looking at closer to 110-120 though as a selling price. Unless you need the money I would keep it.
