  1. Everyone loves an MP7 right!? I don't think I'm going to paint this one...

  4. Bought them last night but only just remembered lol. Treated myself to a set of @heroshark specs. Hopefully they will solve my fogging on my revision and nose bridge getting destroyed and brightness -50% caused by nuprol mesh problems.

  5. Haha sorry mate just assumed you may be quite new to it due to lack of UKARA I should my mate this thread today, he's got a honey badger already but has got in his head he wants to play with two at once! He's tempted to get one of these instead and if he does I think I'll pick one up to! Ye thanks @mightyjebus, great review!

  7. I've had a second hand DMR previously and I didn't get on with it but I think perhaps I didn't give it enough of a chance. I'm basing my expectations off of the performance of my usual 350fps AEGs. I just feel the left right deviation and distance don't match the specs of the gun. I've read a review that said the hop unit wasn't good enough for the power so I planned to upgrade that anyway when I bought it but I don't know what would fit it.

    My Vsr G-spec Build

Of course there is a rush! You nee those parts and then to get them fitted and then a t least a week of carressing it before lockdown ends and you go running out there to use it! Can;t remember if I mentioned it in our convo but a 0.43g BB will be your absolute best friend if you are running a 430mm barrel. The dorks over on Sniper Forum did the numbers and proved it some how. Also get a GOOD quality BB. I personally only use Geoffs Super Precision whether it's 0.43 in the VSR, 0.48 in the SRS, 0.28 for woodland AEG or 0.2 for indoor AEG. Always use good ammo.

  9. Naughty! 😜 I'm going to hold-off on one of these until later in the year once people start playing with them and I can see some post-skirmish feedback. That, and I would prefer one in FDE rather than black. Thanks @mightyjebus for the excellent first impressions review.

  10. “But hunni, it only cost you £100 anyway, why’s it so hard to sell?”
    1 point
  11. £450 would still be too much... if you go on the so called 60% rule for 2nd hand kit.... you can argue that it's 'newish' and so a seller will want close to rrp as possible but its still 2nd hand... I'd be looking to pay around £390 for that bundle.... but in all honesty I'd only want the gun itself so £330-£350 based on 60% of the new value..

I work with a lot of Tier 1 guys and various "specialist" units, and I know they get to do what they want. IDK about regular units however.

    THE TM MWS thread

Considering I am based in The Netherlands I had it done by Camogun. Must say, even though for the majority of this forum it's not really useful information, but they are great. Was my first time Cerakoting and my first experience with them and they've been sound. Mailed back and forth to decide on a color, decided to send the rail in via the post and a few days later I was bombarded with these great pictures. Picked it up a few days after and had a nice chat with one of the owners who explained all the options they had for Cerakoting so all in all, I can really recommend them!

    My Vsr G-spec Build

The wife nipped out with the eldest today so I was left with a sleeping baby, a bag of cotton wool balls and a hollow vsr stock! I was using a dB app to record the sound of the rifle before and after. It seemed widely inconsistent but the highest I could get the meter to go to before "stuffing" was 79 dB and after it was a mere 70 dB. So an improvement! I think I'm about there with my choices for the build now. I very nearly bought it all last night but then turned the PC off and went to bed! No real rush I suppose!

  20. I find this an excellent thread for a noob like myself - I wouldn’t buy without consulting someone more knowledgeable than myself anyhow but I like the fact that it calls out the optimistic sellers. Forum police of sorts - quite humorous also.

Being furloughed, and the lockdown stopping play thought I'd tick off something I've wanted to do for ages. Painted the MK18, and even the MK46! I'm now the proud owner of two very salty looking RIF's wanting to create a worn 'in country look' Painting a RIF is of course very subjective, but I hope you all like. This was the first time I've ever sprayed one of my collection, and it was a lot of fun!

  22. The dual ammo version is .177 pellet or BB, and not airsoft, so you don't need UKARA.
    1 point
  23. UKARA is specifically to prove you are an Airsoft Skirmisher. As you are not one, then UKARA is not for you. Apart from being a re-enactor there isn't a reason for you to buy an airsoft rifle.

  25. I bought this as a two-tone that hadn’t been fired in 2 years so got it for a good price. After a bit of blue paint removal and a strip down and refurb I ended up with this WE416 GBBR.

  26. I got two broken guns yesterday from that bb site that lots of people don't like, I like to try and fix things and see how things work. The rifle was a broken safety, the pistol is a faulty mag that I can't fix or don't know how too, its leaking from under the top rubber bit not valves, oh I like to spray things too lol

  28. what model cm16 ??? Long 357 or short 230 barrel barrel lengths and the cm16 range varies greatly so for anybody to even "guess" the spring will be a bit stab in the dark tbh normally Element m105 to shs m110 on shorter barrels AoE drops fps by about 10-15fps but bearing spring guide pulls you back by adding 15fps aprox piston head is $hit seal - never got a great seal with stock G&G piston head myself nozzle shs red m4 but might be a whisker too long for some guns/boxes (it is not as easy as it looks at first - there's loads of stuff to check when upgrading/servicing the box) Long barrel m105 short barrel m110 that is my guess but depending on gun it will only be a rough guess until chrono and depends greatly on seals everywhere If it is still down you can add a bearing spring guide as I said heck if you wanted just pop in a bearing spring guide as is to boost 15fps but without more work AoE etc... I wouldn't go mental on the juice or change motor it really is a question how far you wish to go and fps means little if shooting a bit crap - no spring will change that - it is hop/bucking/barrel as said before tbb may up your fps by 10 or so anyway
