  2. For that price it had better come with a bottle, a good one, and it had better be filled with whiskey, good whiskey.

  4. Just got an Acetech Lighter S tracer unit. It's very small and light. Can't wait for places to open again so I can get on with shooting lasers! Must have about 25000 bbs laying about the place.

  6. This could be yours for the princely sum of £60 on discord. Shame a brand new one costs £61 from TaiwanGun.

  7. About to buy a kwa vm4 t6. I've read that it is a great gun out of the box other than the hop rubber, although apparently it can be alright after putting a mag of bb's through it. Thinking of changing the following, Dropping in a gate titan advance, new gears, new trigger, new hop rubber, new piston and piston head. 1) is it worth it on this gun 2) is it worth changing the hop up, barrel and or spring whilst I've gone this far Whilst I dont mind spending the money I dont want to change something that is actually worth keeping. Overall looking for increased rof, fps to be stable at 330/350 for site limits and a good range. Thanks for any advice

  12. Lol, I do, I wouldn't pay the silly RRP's of any of the "tacticool" brands, thank feck for eBay auctions. Paid £25 for my maxpedition gearslinger, wouldn't have gone much higher for that. & I'm not even Scottish or a Yorkshireman 😜

  13. Not me mate, I'm happy enough with cheapo 8fields stuff for my BB LARPing. 😜

  14. Come on guys it's Maxpedition, it was the dog's balls back in the day, and still is if you like old school nylon. Tough as nails tbf. That price tag is still really high but not that far off. You don't seem upset about crye/arc'teryx price tags tho

  16. you say that like you first response wasn't a fundamental truth of airsoft anyways, that's the sensible stuff covered, carry on lads..... i dunno, their 6-pots are smooth engines. modify maybe but not change.....

  17. To be honest i would change the engine and wheels if i bought a BMW. Unless it was an E30 M3 but youd never get one of those in a showroom these days

  18. you weren't that specific. for example you want "good" rof, well if your idea of "good" is "anything better than stock" then a basic mosfet and 11.1v battery will be all you need, if you want a 40rps hose then the requirements are going to be a bit more extreme. you want 330 or 350fps, which is it? do you play more at sites with a lower limit that you'd rather go lower? do you want to be able to change with ease? you want "good range", which can mean anything from just putting some geoffs .3's in a clean stock gun or dropping .48's into a gun with literally every internal part changed this is the problem with providing recommendations as to whether for example putting a titan, which is an expensive and complex bit of kit that needs a lot of other factors in the gun to be up to scratch first, is the right thing to do or not. this is why in lieu of anything specific the answer is to "leave it alone", if you have the impression the gun you're getting is going to be "good" (in your definition) out of the box then maybe you'll be sufficiently happy with the performance that you don't need to do anything bar keep it clean and feed it targets. likewise you might use it and find "hmm, i like the rof, and my bb's are going far enough, but the spread is terrible" or "hmm, my bb's are going where i want them to, but the trigger response is too slow" which can be as much down to personal preference and game style as anything else.

  19. what do you actually want your gun to do? because that's going to answer a lot of the questions as to what you should/shouldn't be doing with the internals. you mention you want to change all the internals but why do you want to do that? what do you think a titan/gearset/flashy bits is going to do to the gun that will make it better at doing what you want it to? there are a number of specific objectives you could be aiming for here, and depending on how high a standard you want to perform in a particular field is going to dictate what you need to do to acheive that and what you may have to sacrifice to acheive it.

By 'the SA80' do you mean the family of firearms that includes the L85? In work I call 'em guns, gats, bangsticks, shooters and a million and one other things since saying RIFLE ad nauseum when you're literally surrounded by the things gets super boring tbh.

  21. Hello, I bought the Honey Badger too and made an teardown after Delivery and Upgrade some parts. I added an new shs lightweight Piston, (14teeth) shs pom Piston head and an shs High Torque Motor - new protech Grease For the Gears - Overall an decent gun - played it one day Long and Love it. Im really impressed whats possible for this small Budget. The Falcon system works Like the Gate Titan/Aster, Perun or the cheap etu from T238 with optical Sensors. And i works like a charme. Thx For the battery Extension. Cheers! PS: sry for my english, im not from the uk.

  22. Yeah, It can be hard to find out how to check since the online self check has been down for years. I always called 'Fire Support' They won't give you info but will confirm if a name or address is correct for that number

Being furloughed, and the lockdown stopping play thought I'd tick off something I've wanted to do for ages. Painted the MK18, and even the MK46! I'm now the proud owner of two very salty looking RIF's wanting to create a worn 'in country look' Painting a RIF is of course very subjective, but I hope you all like. This was the first time I've ever sprayed one of my collection, and it was a lot of fun!

  30. Whiskey is Irish whisky is Scottish......and considering us Irish invented the stuff we are right. Plus thats Scottish stuff tastes like fireplaces...give me a nice 20 year single malt Bushmills any time - and not the stuff we sell to you lot either - just the stuff only available from the Distillery
