  1. No. Sellers can charge what they like; it is the buyer who needs to do their own due diligence and decide if they are willing to pay it. Considering the poor quality of some adverts, especially photos of the item, I am amazed that some stuff still gets sold. Many people are uninformed as they cannot be bothered to reseach (or even read this topic) and will buy anything, and a few are willing to pay a premium for less rigerous defence checking.

  3. I'll bet people are willing to pay more if the seller doesn't insist on UKARA check. I'd even bet that MOST sales don't check UKARA

  4. I S hopped my inner barrel and added a prometheus flat hop rubber (Blue) and a Prometheus hop tensioner (also blue) and I can now shift .36g with ease. I've also uploaded the 3D battery extension for anyone who wants to print 1 off. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4352413 I've got a high speed motor in the post and I'll be interested in seeing what different it makes.

  8. Versatility to the max Yeah I know its not correct but I don't care about the details I just care that the helmet, shirt, pants, helmet cover and webbing cost £60 total 🤩 (Forgot to put the netting on the helmet for the first two shots)

  10. This could be yours for the princely sum of £60 on discord. Shame a brand new one costs £61 from TaiwanGun.

  11. I ask for ukara and check that the letters at the start are actually for a site, that much you can do on their website. The second check is to get their forum name and the date on some paper in a picture of rifs that they already own and arn't two tone. Just as evidence that they must (I assume/hope) have got at least some of them from a retailer and by proxy, be a skirmisher. Not full proof. But it feels like I did what I could. Though in all honesty, I only really press for it on profiles that are clearly new, or just not really used (no postings/reviews) and clearly only popping on here for the classifieds.

  12. Had the same thing when I came to sell on my first RIF. In the end, just asked the buyer for their UKARA number. UKARA isn't the only defence which muddies the water further. I used to do Re-enactment and private sellers either didn't challenge me or completey refused to sell because I didn't have a UKARA number (at the time).

  13. Gotta say - those internals look pretty damned good for a £104 quid gun.

  14. Funnily enough - Zero One was one of them. Can't remember the other TBH. Wasn't Fire-Support though, I'll try them if I could be bothered to sell any of my guns in the near future.

  15. Yeah, It can be hard to find out how to check since the online self check has been down for years. I always called 'Fire Support' They won't give you info but will confirm if a name or address is correct for that number

  16. How do you check UKARA these days? (genuine question - not sold a RIF in 5 years) Last time I sold one, I tried two retailers to verify the buyer - I was either fobbed off of ignored altogether. In the end, I got the buyer to send me their player UKARA self-check email - which no longer exists as a function on the UKARA website. I can see why most people wouldn't bother checking - I just stopped selling guns altogether.

  17. Lol No, prob should be though ? I've often wondered whether that's the thats the mindset with some overpriced sellers, in the knowledge that most underage or occasional players would rather stick pins in their eyes than buy two-tone........me included.

Ive had this from a BB strike/malfunction. Found a ton of debris in the my trigger unit for some reason. I *personally* use a spray lube for my trigger box. Nice and thin oil, and use a stronger trigger spring set as well to help the reset. Also polishing the trigger box and the sides of the trigger itself will aid in reset. I get the odd hang up but rather rare. Another squirt of silicone spray and im good to go.

  29. Boredom struck so decided to test fit my black loadout for indoor/CQB and urban games. Tired of running around the same bloody forest every game. Just missing some Umbrella patches now and some elbow/knee pads Hera Arms CQR with 4-14x50 scope. Currently mid-mod into a DMR Cybergun Desert Eagle. Three dual pouches on the chest that take two M4 style or my clamp paired MP5 mags comfortably on the carrier. Small viper pack for misc items/bladder on back. Two pistol mag holders, dump pouch and grenade pouch on the belt. Deagle holster on the right thigh.

  32. Tanchanka is coming along haha. My attempt at a Fall Partizan (the same camo I wear with my Tanchanka (tan-based Tachanka)) paintjob turned out decent, especially as all sources listed the four colors as black, brown, tan, and “loam”. So I had to blend paints to get that final color. All in all I’m happy with my first camo’d paintjob - everything else I’ve done has been worn monotones

  33. Got a few photos of my latest kit progression. Think it's coming together nicely now though. Feldwebel Reinhold Zimmerman of II Kompanie 125th regiment of 21st panzer division at Normandy 1944. He scans the hedgerows for movement and checks his bearings before moving on with his trupp.

  36. Finally decided to get a tracer I have chosen this an "Acetech lighter BT" mainly becuase it will shoot red tracers 👌 Also it doubles as a chrono. https://www.airsoftcentral.co.uk/acetech-lighter-bt.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiA9orxBRD0ARIsAK9JDxQ4NOKRoMh8NxhBe-YSnrtyXooDVTW6tUK0aN3ukFAAsCsViSUU0HUaAor2EALw_wcB The Devgru is a great gun, had one about 4 years, its been an absolute workhorse, never failed me and so very satisfying to use. You made the right choice!

  37. Just bought a TM Devgru. Been 'umming and arring' for a long time so just decided to take the plunge. Looking forward to having a play later. The fire selector is extremely stiff though... Also got one of the retailers that stripped the markings off; oh well.
