I hear the USN are using parcel tape as camouflage for their new F-35s. Easy to source, even a kid can apply it.2 points

You can put ghille camo on it, also in some time (especially summer it is quite hard to see) also parcel tape brakes up the colour borders which makes it harder to see2 points -

not the price per-say but that description is pure gold.2 points -
A properly declared £131 airsoft toy should attract both import duty, VAT (on the total cost including postage and import duty) and (depending on courier) a triple-penetration by being charged courier fees for paying that duty for you. If the retailer is mislabelling to avoid it then you're gambling on being lucky enough to have it slip though.2 points

I don’t think the parcel tape on it for “extra camo” hides the fact that it’s bright green1 point -

Can't believe how long it took @ak2m4 to get my motor shipped! I ordered on 05/04/19 13:48 and it was shipped on 05/04/19 14:22. It took 36minutes to ship my purchase! Disgrace! (Obviously a joke, great service as always!)1 point -

I've bought a Geissele rail for the A5! What do you chaps think? I'm personally a fan, and although there's not much difference in weight. It feels nicer to hold, I may not even bother with a vertical grip. Here's pictures of before and after.1 point -

I have paid import taxes from HK, rainbow 8 included as have many others here... Only on things above a certain value. I paid a ludicrous amount of import fees for my Prowin mags but it still worked out cheaper than buying them from the UK. It's not priced more than new... You seem to still be overlooking the fact that it comes with an extra mag and a holster. A mag, new is in the £20-30 range and the holster is too... In used terms that still about £30 more for both. And while it's technically not new, the fact still remains, if I didn't want to wait for a UK/EU restock and I wanted one... I would consider it and so would many others. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. Which is why selling on eBay is so successful. Edit: it should also be noted, I am not intentionally defending the seller, but I do feel that in this particular instance, point the finger and making fun is a little unfair.1 point

Lol... You can facepalm yourself all you want. That's £131... From HONG KONG! Add on delivery and import taxes... Closer to £160.1 point
-
It's closer to £160 because it's closer to £160. Just a few examples... and those are without delivery. I didn't say it was new at any point but they haven't been in stock anywhere that I've seen in 6 months+ so yeah, like I said... If I was in the market for another one, with an extra mag and a holster... I would consider it for £180 delivered.1 point

It is not an upgrade though if it is something that is required to fix an inherent flaw. If there is a problem with the manufacturing that means the Evo has a high rate of gear failure then ASG should be replacing the weak area for free as the original product is not fit for purpose. No one should have to spend more money just to make their gun work the same as it is meant to originally.1 point -
I agree with both points it's a bit of a joke for such an expensive gun but piece of mind would do me wonders and I am pretty picky about guns. I like stop on empty and SMGs so I don't have a huge choice to pick from. If I can work out some discount I might go for a set of decent gears in there as I have done a lot of reading before buying it and this is the only fault people mention that really lets it down. The retailer have said they will email me a label and arrange collection so far. Will do a full review on the appropriate thread when I get to the end of the line with the retailer as they have been speedy and informative responses so far.1 point

BB weight wont be an issue. It sounds like it is trying to burst fire on semi? This has become the problem with the evo that there are too many bad ones creeping through. I know of lots that have worked fine with never an issue but far too many do. Which is a shame as they are great when working. As for fine when the gears are upgraded that is a joke on a £300+ gun. Ultimate gears are crap though so not much of an upgrade. I would insist on a replacement and if that dies get a refund and buy something you can trust.1 point -
