So I managed to put a few rounds through the gun at work today. It uses the same gearbox as all the other DE guns with the falcon system. At about 10/15m I was getting a grouping of around 2" or so (using valken .20g outside. I then shot at sign about 30/35m maybe which was about a foot square and after adjusting for wind I was hitting it pretty consistent. The gun feels very solid. No creeks anywhere. The only part that has a bit of movement is the stock when extended half way or more but even then it's not that much. I thought I'd highlight a few bits that might be useful and nice touches. First up is the battery compartment. It's pretty airy in there, especially if your a fellow 904G owner. as you can see plenty of room for larger sticks or crane batteries.b The stock has 6 extendable positions plus a couple for the cheek rest. It has a nice rubber pad at the end. A little detail that I thought was nice was a window to show what position the stock was in. The charging handle is ambidextrous and can be swapped over easily. You pull the charging handle back along 2 sprung loaded stainless steel tubes too access the hope unit. Hop now exposed through the large ejection window. This stays open until you press the catch and it snaps shut. Next is the grip. Feels good in the hand. Has a nice rubber texture on it. Definitely more comfortable than my 904G and H. Lastly one slight downside. The stock when folded doesn't click into anything to make it stay fully closed to the rifles body. There's a bit of free play before force is needed to fold it back to lock it out. Easily solved with a bit of velcro, or something. This is the amount 'free play' Hope that helps someone.

  9. Thankfully, apart from some light flickering, we've been fine. First time ever that I've cancelled playing because of the weather though. I don't bother looking usually as the wet weather gear is always in the motor anyway.

  14. Yeah go on then. PM me and I'll give you my PayPal details. In fact all of the training will be via PM and I may not respond for several months....in order to teach you the art of patience of course but yeah let's do it.

  15. If you're totally new: Have a browse on YouTube (including Gamble's channel). There's LOADS of videos for beginners, about what you need to get started, which is actually very little: Sturdy boots with ankle support. Clothes you don't mind getting dirty (camo or dark colours). Gloves are good. Eye protection is your main priority, but if you're starting out renting that will be provided, though I'd still recommend getting your own as the rental stuff sometimes isn't the best and you don't know if it's already taken a few shots. Then.... Go to a site close to you (check out the sites review section on this forum). Rent a gun. Play. Do that a couple of times, see if you like the game. Go on from there. You'll find that at most sites the players are friendly, inclusive and helpful. Hope this was of some help 🙂 Oh, and check out the new players section here, lots of good info: https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/11-new-players-amp-arrivals/

  18. To quote an old adage, "knives don't kill people, people kill people", you think taking all the "zombie knives" & other associated crap off the shelves is gonna stop people being stabbed ?, is it fuck, the whole thing was just yet another government knee jerk reaction, probably to cover up a completely different non related matter that it didn't want talked about. In the same vein, no pun intended, bout 15 years ago, following another surge in "stabbiness", a group of A&E doctors tried to raise a petition to the government of the time to ban the import & sale of all pointed knives, but as was quickly pointed out, all the scrotes etc would do is raid their mums kitchen drawers, or start making shivs from literally everything available. No, if the police are gonna try to enforce the law, ANY LAW, best they know what they're talking about first, & if the intention is to prevent harm being done, maybe properly lock up the habitual criminals, the repeat offenders who it seems know how to work the crap system to their advantage. Like the fact that if your subject to a stop & search, found to be in possession of a bladed article but not in the process of committing a crime with it, not only are you likely to escape prosecution, you will probably get the knife back, if you ask nicely lol. Like the lad in London, a known gang member caught with 15 knives (I think ?), slap on the wrist & his brief asked for the knives to be returned😬

    Motor wont connect.

If you have a multi meter I'd check the wiring loom on the motor as well as the physical connection tabs. It could be something as simple as you pinched a cable and broken the wire, or the spade isn't staying put when the grip gets closed up. If all is fine until the base plate goes on then start at the base of the motor and connections and work your way up as the perun yellow code is for motor connection not gearbox jam, which is a blinking red light usually.

  23. Exactly this , hence if I do hear someone saying a gun isn't scurmishable I think odds are it’s the player NOT the gun that’s the real problem in the equation. 😉

    What have you made?

Nothing too epic just had an idea to avoid loosing mags from pistols . Took the grips off sanded the base edge down a bit then cut a piece of Velcro to fit around the screw raiser back together trim the Velcro to correct size and job done ! 👍

  27. Most site I've played at have used the front sight + rear sight + target rule, added with the A4 paper size rule, and no opening or closing windows. I played a site last year where i was crouched behind a small wall. A walk on then started poking his gun round the side and spraying (luckily nowhere near my general direction as i was tucked in). Only thing i could do was grab the barrel and pull the gun away. When he then came round the corner to find out what happened he had no idea i was there and walked into a knife kill

  28. Out of the box the SSX23 blows all the other options away and if you argue that, you're just a "hater" If you want H&K trades and are willing to go through the upgrade route yourself, then the TM would of course be the go-to. The ASG/STTI are just budget versions of the latter. I wouldn't get the SSP1 unless you're just looking for a CO2 pistol. The TM Hi-Capa's are infinitely better on green gas. I love my Gold Match and anything you do to it, isn't really an upgrade. You're just changing the externals. I am also very keen on my AAP-01 with Black Mamba kit but it's more cumbersome to carry than a Hi-capa. How important is full-auto and a folding stock to you? Edit; any excuse to post this little clip 😁 VID_20210808_123131.mp4

  30. Nothing wrong with using non-gun parts. I think of it as being resourceful. I have one gun which has a purple calpol syringe tube as part of the hop up - just happens to be the perfect size to feed bbs from an M4 mag. This fix is one that I'm most proud and ashamed of at the same time.

  32. My site rule is simple.... if you can't see what you're shooting at.... it's blind firing... You have to be looking down the barrel... Period
    1 point
  33. You will be if you keep doing it ! “Now where’d I leave my white stick ?” 🤣 Most sites I’ve been too have said you need to be sighting down the gun so you can see what your shooting at , anything else could be classed as blind firing . Me personally I’ve always defined ‘blind firing’ as firing your gun either under/over or through any type of cover where you can’t see what your actually shooting at and you are unable to tell what or who is in front of you , but with the caveat there’s always going to be occasions where part of you view is obscured , firing out of a window(player pops up in front of you) , around a corner(player walks in to your line of fire) , etc etc so a player could still take a blast at close range from you but it was an unavoidable accident nothing else . I had the ‘hip firing’ scenario happen a few yrs ago , was in a sort of bunker complex I hear talking in the next room to me , recognised one of the voices as belonging to a right nobber on the other team so moved up to the corner of the two sections stepped out and shot him and two others in the back as they thought their team had secured the whole complex (they hadn’t ! 😈) who all then promptly started screaming blue murder about blind firing as I shot the three of them from the hip ! I laughed and said “grow up it was only one shot each !” At that site it was single shot only inside hardcover/buildings/bunkers and walked off . Only for him to later turn up at my table in the safezone with a marshal(who just so happened to be a friend of his) who immediately starts shouting at me for ‘blind firing’ at this point I said rather forcefully shouted back at him with “do NOT shout at me get the head marshal now !” he arrives , both sides of the argument given , junior marshal given severe bollocking for speaking to me like that . The general consensus was yes it could be described as blind firing in the widest sense possible but really you want to kick up a fuss over a single shot to the center of your plate carrier ?

  36. 2 days later and I received a free replacement. Honestly Feyachi have exceeded all expectations and delivered customer service that rivals most. Can't fault the company. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a well made budget sight with great customer service to back it up. Also looks like an updated model. New box, better instructions, minor improvements to the sight and a clearer reticle. https://instagram.com/feyachi_outdoors?utm_medium=copy_link

  38. My first post here, and Yes, you read that right. 51 years of age and I have only just crawled out from under my rock and discovered Airsoft - well about a month ago. Turns out my partner's son has been doing it for years... So, while still full of festive cheer (booze) I agreed to have a go. So I went for a game of CQB in The Mill in Wigan on the 30th December and....I'm hooked. I loved it. My body didn't like it like though. Legs felt like rubber and struggled to climb stairs for 3 days. Lol. And my body looked like it had chicken pox that turned into 19 multicoloured bruises over the next day or so. Well I am 51 and 1.5 stone over weight... Which is one of the reasons why I went, to get a bit fitter... After changing my job from an active plumber and builder I got an office job 6 months ago for a software company and piled on the weight. Struggling to put your shoes on, being late for work 'cos the shirt you just ironed was too tight (true story) I had to start doing something and what can be more fun that running around like a 9 year old playing Pew Pew??? I've had a few goes now, all at the same place. Learning the CQB site so I can focus on improving my skills, what little I have. I must be getting better though as only 2 bruises after the last skirmish. With improved skill and a bit more experience, next week I'm off to another CQB venue to play Pew Pew Wish me luck!!! Ps. Any advice on how to improve my CQB game?
