Ahh yes, i can see what you mean now. It's an interesting one, i kind of agree that being hosed with an 0.5j gun is preferable to say 3 or 4 spammed semi shots from a much more powerful gat all things being equal. As a rule for say milsims for caliber appropriate guns maybe, but for general skirmishing it's easier to just limit to semi.

So the question to this vile bunch of reprobates, hornswagglers and generally dodgy characters is with absolutely zero chance of dumping your white load on random strangers and terrified youngsters in the near or foreseeable future due to the lockdown AND the mind numbing boredom that comes with it and the fact this level of boredom reduces your willpower to the tensile strength of a piece of wet Aldi value toilet paper what have you been spending money you haven’t got on ? and then instantly thinking “FFS am I off my head or what ?” the second the dispatched email arrived ? Update on my MRE build... Early GWOT vibes! G&P Kac style suppressor, Hogue pistol grip, and Car-15 stock with the obligatory cable tied rubber pad. Also fitted the excellent SixG super nub ordered from Dave and received very promptly, cheers bud! 👍

The reason the middle finger is more popular with the ‘dress like a clown speedier’ side of airsofting(more than likely without then even realising it) is you can actually spam a trigger fast with your middle finger than any other finger on your hand . The posterior tendon on the middle finger has the straightest pull of all the tendons on your hand so it can activate much faster than the others . if you hold your hand in side profile in front of a digital screen and ‘waggle’ each finger you’ll see the middle can go a lot faster than the rest .🖕

Yep, thats why the semi rule is still useful. I mean even with that you get the right setup you can spam faster than a lot of guns can even fire. I do wonder if rps limits as well as fps limits might be worth implementation, let folks run auto indoors but cap the rate of fire to something sensible.

Either way, with my setup a heavy piston is not needed other than chrono cheating purposes M100 spring went in yesterday, it clocks at 0.94J on 0.2s and 1.25J on 0.4s, with an intermediate 1.15J on 0.3s. Better, I guess, still running hot for my limit but I'm not gonna do anything until the new airbrake is installed. For a brief moment, though, I accidentally got the current airbrake to work: During testing the gun suddenly became whisper quiet (not quite mk23 levels, but surely inaudible over 5 metres), at first I thought something in my internal suppression had moved out of position and was blocking the barrel, but BBs were flying straight and at a consistent velocity (eyeballed). Chrono readings were just 0.1J below the "loud" results, so I started to take the gun apart. Noticed some PTFE coming out of the nozzle, that's when I realized the airbrake jacket I made with PTFE and heat shrink had come off the airbrake and got stuck in the cylinder head, making the stock 4mm airbrake perfectly functional I have removed it now, but fuck me sideways it was dead quiet!!!!! Still have to test the sound from the target's perspective but if everything goes according to plan, I'll end up with a 0.99J gun that is stupid quiet without having to cut the spring at that point I can call the build done from a mechanical point of view and start working on camouflaging it (without ruining the pristine looks with spray paint or other shit).

Ahh yes, the good ol' airsoft review: 1. Open up the box, take a minute to talk about what its made from while showing some sweeping close-ups. 2. Spend 15 minutes talking about the controls, how ambi freindly they are, and listing every rail mounting point on the gun. 3. Show 3 bb's being fired through a chrono 4. 30 seconds of accuracy "testing" on an indoor range no more than 10m long, remember to shoot off-hand at a cardboard box and not say what ammo your using. 5. Declare it the best thing ever and remember not to say anything bad in case the manufacturer stops sending you stuff to test. Meanwhile i'm left asking "yes but whats the box like? Has it a qd spring? Are there any proprietary parts and if there are are they at least decent? Are there any quirks to dissassembly? Etc etc" Or the other "i 'review' my big youtube buddy's latest product (honest review guvnor)" types. Meanwhile i've had a gun i want to review for some time but i'm refusing to do so until i see if rs furniture fits.

Over the years I’ve come across quite a few squaddies and Plod that came to the sport with a VERY negative preconception of what to expect who by the end of the day (some even by end of the 1st game!) had done a complete about face with there attitude to it and if it could be useful as part of there training regimens . As an RM said to me during a lunch break who’d come for his baby brother’s birthday “I REALLY didn’t want to come today but have to say I’ve never had a target shoot back at me before ! I’m f**king buzzing !” 🤣 I think Airsoft is just like any thing else that could enhance your training , you just need to find the right way to use it .

Have a look at eagle six's videos on you tube while you wait for disassembly videos, whilst your on there if you are not already familiar have a shufti at Bada Bings mws stuff, before you ask about green gas mod's some say V2 mags don't need them, I say its cheap to revert if you are not happy so try one first additionally Six G gunsmithing (six g nub) is a one man band, be patient for a reply and if you can't wait do the biro mod!

The only time I ordered from aliexpress (€16 Geissele MK8 plastic fantastic clone) I didn't get any tracking number, only a "seller has shipped item" message. It did come within 2 weeks of ordering tho 😮 which is impressive for my shit 3rd world tier national postal service 😮
