So finally turned up, and gotta say. I can't honestly think of a better rif for the price, the Urgi rail even has geiselle trades engraved! Only thing I had to change was the hop rubber as with 28s, it was inconsistent, but an old tm hop rubber, that I had to cut as the de rubber was shorter. And now it is shooting awesome. Changed the stock to a ctr as well, but we'll happy.2 points -
Dis how mine looks at the moment. The dot is just for show as it is a cheap piece of junk (if your eye is not 100% aligned it'll reflect the laser back at you lol). I don't like the two tone looks, I'm getting a 2nd gun in black to be specifically built as a carbine (reverting this one back to a standard pistol). Plus with the rail AA is developing, it'll probably look mint!2 points

Afuk Meet up 3.0

Its that time again I've been in touch with Z-Mart (Zedadventures new CQB site located in Newbury) and have been told we can have a private game. Currently it will be £25.00 per head, or £650.00 which is greater, so for us to have ot at £25.00 per head we need a minimum or 26 players otherwise im assuming the cost will go up per head. 5 rentals available on the night at a cost of £40.00 total (that includes the £25.00 per head) We can have any day excluding Sundays or Thursdays, 4.5 hours of Airsoft. It has been mentioned that midweek is best because we can pick any time but for people on longer journeys that may be an issue due to work that day or previous day. Trying to confirm if a Saturday would be afternoon or evening, will post confirmation below. So, I leave it to you to pick a month I.e Jan or Feb, as well as a day. I for one would prefer a Saturday evening. Once I have a preference for a month and day, I'll ping another email to zed and get a date set. Then you can book. *Please note, this is a forum meet up, however I have no issues with a small group of friends coming, not a team of 10 though as its a smaller site* Regards the poll, please only vote on ONE month, but as many days as you want. The poll will close in ONE WEEK. Any questions, please post below Sorry if I haven't tagged you, don't take it personally, you're still invited. I’m down 100%. Saturday again is best (I have voted) but will book a night off work if needs be. been meaning to get there for ages and actually a smaller forum game would be 100 times better than a walk on. I will likely be bringing 2 others too if you need an idea on numbers.1 point -

Yup running it with the sdik bolt for TM VSR, at 500fps with a 0.2 got through 4 24 round mags with propellent still left in the bulb. I did think about running the 33g bulbs but then I seen the price, but it is an option.1 point -

With a full stock I would go with something like https://shop-mancraft.com/en/co2-adaptors/184-hrr-with-u-shape-expansion-chamber.html around £150 vs £250 for the Wrath stock I have one for my bolt action and with a bit of fettling it fits in the stock so an A2 style full stock will take it no problem. I have only put around 100 shots through it due to being covid so no experience over the longevity of it yet. Sorry I should of been a bit more specific I dont use the GHK mag filled with Co2 to power a HPA engine I use it to power GHK gas blow back rifles. Get sub 10" groups at 70 meters with a 370mm barrel with all the fun of a bolt lock and blowback.1 point -

You have the Wrath Co2 stocks that will fit on an AEG Ar15 type pew pew the 12g version gets around 150-250 shots adjustable power 175-600 FPS with a 0.2g. Then you can use whatever engine you like to fit in the gearbox shell. If a buffer tube is not going to work you can get things like the Mancraft U Shape reg and do the same thing but hide it in a solid stock ETC. Another option to think about that I have been using for the last few years is direct filling Co2 into GHK blowback magazines (Called the devil hunter mod) and am over the moon with the results.1 point -

avenger sells a lot of guns like that, the running theory being he's basically acting as a shop. it's been discussed a few times but the consensus is it's within the rules.1 point -

Just bought an mp5k and an mp5 sliding stock. Always wanted to do this conversion since seeing this pic. Its an mp5k built off an mp5 reciever and that stock just looks so good on it. Gonna take a bit of work but the end result should be a nice little pdw.1 point -

Got 2 SigAir ProForce MCX, took a pic before I part with 1. My plan is to make a short MCX, if a friend in the US is able to obtain the handguard while he is over there. Please excuse the bad photoshop job, there are basically no side profile images of the 6" handguard, so had to improvise 🤣 Will also include original photo. Not sure what battery options I will have with the 6" though!1 point -
After a bit of wear and an engraving service (I know the font isn't quite right but I'm happy with it) I also improved the hop so it shoots 0.25 quite well.1 point

ARES APC9. lovely firing little AEG. As with most Ares products a bit of TLC will make the most of it. Already sorted out the wobbly stock by replacing the 2 springs under the stock catch button and is now a lot better. inner barrel is only about 130mm and the stock rubber seems meh so I'll probably replace both of these soon. The bolt handles have a bit of wobble as well when folded so I'll probably replace the springs in them as well to keep them from rattling about when folded to the side. The mags are a bit stiff in the magwell but I think this will get better with use. The rubber bumps on the base of the magazine are a nice touch but I might bin them so that I can cram more mags into a M4 pouch. oh and the pin that holds the stock on, that you need to remove to fit a battery, is the tightest I've ever come across.1 point -

If you go to partspicker, click edit this parts list then click on the part you want to choose (to change case, click where it says 'case' in blue writing, not the currently selected case) There's a zalman microatx case for £20 Using partspicker also tells you an ESTIMATED power usage (you don't need 500W supply) and any potential fitting/running issues with compatibility. I spent about a month messing around before buying any of my parts. Once you've got parts that don't need big expenses, you can look at the other stuff getting a speed boost (quicker RAM, faster Read and write speed harddrive, maybe an SSD to boot windows from) Remember that you WON'T be running ARMA/Fallout/BLOPS on Ultra settings, but you can compete with the visuals of a PS4/Xbone for a reasonable price.1 point -

I call her Sasha! Lovely E&L. Suffers from the issue that all E&Ls seem to have where tightening the pistol grip seems to push the motor up and you cant get the motor height right. That's going to have to be looked at. Shes shimmed a little tight as well. But shes a real looker! Also arrived is this ugly thing. JLS RX4. Brand new.0 points
