In advance, I am not a business, I just want to buy one, along with some of my daily necessities together to send, if anyone wants to buy with me then contact me. It's about 100 pounds each, If anyone needs it, I'll order it for him. no deposit required. Without further ado, I just show the videos and pictures. And you can choose different styles for AK or AR like SOCOM or PBS and QDC and osprey. Sniper path feedback
two_zero and one other reacted to AK47frizzle for a topic
I love sniping but for a different reason to most people. For me, the point of getting a sniper rifle is simply to outrange AEGs. I play the exact same aggressive, run-amok style as I would with an AEG but further away. It's fun because you get people trying to duel you 50m away and watch as their BBs drop before your feet, and you can still accurately pick them out no problem. But of course, stealth can be a fun option too. Contrary to what everyone says, i'd recommend getting a "shoot-good-out-da-box" sniper rifle because not wasting time and effort on fiddling about with compatability parts is valuable, especially with the hop which can take forever to get right if you don't have a personal range (waiting every two weeks to test once on a game day, and have it not work as predicted is painful). The least expensive option seems to be the (yes really) novvy ssg stuff, then followed by the TAC41P at £372 from firesupport. Then everyone seems to praise the steyr scout at £400. At £400+ there's the SRS and the new B&T SPR300 which I plan to get a hold of soon. Probably some more out there. But, it is up to you.2 points -

Love Glocks! Nice family! I’m also building a family of glockbabies. Are they all VFC (well not the 17L right? And the 27?). I think you covered most of the airsoft models. Need a 42 and a 23 though. —- So another glock. Normally I hate SAI slides. But I had this fde framed p80 glock with a black slide which I never was happy with. So voila- An all fde SAI p80 g17. Lovely finish on the cerakote and the black dimpled barrel looks great. TM G17 gen3 donorgun.2 points -

I wouldn't say folk here are abrasive, to me it's more like people post what they think. Personally I prefer this to other places (particularly fb groups) where nobody is allowed to post anything slightly negative incase someone gets offended. Just because you can't report the e mail address to anyone doesn't mean you can't have some fun at their expense. Sign them up for as many dodgy mailing lists as you can, or maybe give it as contact details to the next spammer advertising drugs or voodoo spells.2 points -

Cannonfodder and one other reacted to LazzurusMan for a topic
This is why I love this forum, whilst sometimes people can be a little abrasive (I don't see why, it's only an cm16 with box mag, bipod, scope, pistol brace stock, "reflex" sight, laser and torch 😜) but when things need to be sorted, there's people there to help.2 points -
I'll preface this all by saying that my favourite bolt action platform is the Tanaka m700 system. While Tanaka may be incredibly hard to get now, KJW m700s are easier, but still not easy, to find and they're phenomenal rifles (I literally have 2, plus a Tanaka and they're my go-to bolt actions). However, I wouldn't advise buying one if you're just looking to get into sniping because they're incredibly fussy and require a lot of patience, since every game day you have to tweak them to make sure the power is where you want it, since temperature will affect power due to being powered by green gas. You can HPA them, but in my opinion it's impractical as you have to HPA tap the mags, meaning every time you reload you have to detach and reattach the hose, where a HPA VSR you don't have to do that. With that said... In my opinion, the VSR platform is still king due to just how much stuff is out there for it. Some people love the SRS (I don't!), and apparently the Steyr Scout and the Tac41 are pretty decent, but the VSR10 platform still reigns supreme in my opinion due to the sheer amount of aftermarket parts. I also think it depends how much you're willing to get into the thick of it and how much you value certain things. Generally, buying an expensive TM VSR over a JG BAR10 or Cyma cm.701b isn't worth it as you're basically removing all the internals anyway, so why spend that extra £70 on a TM? Having done multiple VSR builds, I would personally always go for the TM, even if I'm replacing everything inside. Part of it is that I think the G-Spec is the superior option over the regular rifle, and I don't think you can get a clone G-Spec rifle. The other part of it is the tiny fraction of a millimetre tolerances and slight quality of life differences. Firstly, the sling mounts on the JG are awful and I've had to loctite mine in. Secondly, not everything will fit perfectly in a clone rifle. I found that the 50rd Action Army magazines are very fussy with my JG BAR10 and I've found myself just running the regular 35rd TM magazines as the Action Army mags would sometimes have feeding issues, or they wouldn't click into place properly. That said, for 99% of people the clone ones are absolutely fine. I'm just very picky! Also, when it comes to "sniping", @Tackle is completely right in saying that fieldcraft and mindset is more important than your rifle. I've played the sniper role with (a lot of) bolt actions, DMRs and regular rifles, and very little changes in how I play. It's more about the stealth and picking your shots than having a 2.3J bolt action with an MED. Also, if you go the whole way into it, it's honestly more about observation than shooting; one of the best sniper games I've had involved me not firing a single shot all game, but I was concealed and constantly calling out enemy movements over the radio to some other guys on my team, so we always knew what the other team was doing. Even had a patrol of about 8 of them walk right in front of me and one crouched down about 50cm to my right. When it comes to actually shooting, the words of some German guys I used to play airsoft with in Spain will always resonate with me as I feel they encapsulated airsoft sniping so well in one simple sentence: "it's not how many you hit, but how you hit them." You'll never (well, incredibly rarely to the point where it's a statistical anomaly) get as many hits in game using a bolt action rifle as you would with a regular AEG, but every hit you do get will feel so much better!2 points

I'd say quite the opposite. Having gone down the "upgrade" route on a VSR-ish base, I'd say that you'll end up paying more for a usable, reliable gun than if you just buy (e.g.) a Novritsch SSG10, or Silverback TAC-41. Sure, you can play with the VSR at various stages of "upgrade", but you'll always be wearing out sears and stoppers, hitting the limit of your hop, and chasing a smoother bolt pull. It's fun to do, but ultimately neither cheaper nor faster than just buying something that's genuinely usable out of the box.1 point

Latest acquisition for Christmas. Saw it and found the concept interesting, but won't be able to test it until the new year. Don't know if I should have gone for the slightly longer version, as the short one seems to be lower powered than advertised; around 1.6J Vs the stated 1.9J, but I'll try it and see! *Edit: just tried it again with heavier ammo and an Action army VSR mag and it's now up to around 1.9 to 2J, so more than adequate. I don't know if it's just joule creep, the AA mag seating in better, or the thing's just warming up now but it seems to have improved. Can't wait to try it out, the thing is just so ridiculously light though!1 point

Sweden. Organized events tends to be a bunch of dudes in multicam with Systemas claiming they can hear the bbs bouncing of their kits but in reality they never notice when hit - same as everywhere I suppose 🤷🏻♀️ When I was active we used to just fill a couple of cars on the weekends and head for the forest or some abandoned site and do our thing. I don't like bureaucracy ^^ This answered the question I do appreciate this but I am very aware of it also- see my forum stats and this reply Either way it is more about adding VSR platform to my loadout than anything else ^^ and I do appreciate your help!1 point

Improved accuracy, grouping of shots and ability to lift heavy BB's. The hop unit in the AAP-01 is way better than the stock WE EU17 one anyhow, but a better bucking makes a big difference (I run a Maple Leaf 60 degree silicon Autobot with 0.32g BB's, and the bucking gets them noticeably further and has a huge effect on grouping). For full auto start with the hammer, it really need to be done otherwise it will fail. But to be honest full auto is a bit pointless, unless you're going HPA, with cool down etc (it's very snappy on semi out of the box and it's so easy to improve).1 point

Nineball makes a fixed ”2way” outer barrel for the TM g17 gen4. Should fit your WE. Also Unikorn makes av fixed barrel/hop combo. Not sure if they make one that fits the WE though. In the meantime you can stabilize your inner barrel a bit by wrapping some tape around it, to sit tighter in the outer barrel.1 point

What would the most "function over form" AEG look like?
Leo Greer reacted to Pseudotectonic for a topic
If we are redesigning the gearbox, if we free the motor and gearbox from the conventional form factors we can increase the motor size, increase the durability of gears and housing, and increase the battery space, in actual fact, we can make it a higher voltage system like some cordless power tools already use (in fact we can even model after those)1 point -

LMAOOO na for reals thou I tend to recommend people to start off with a cm16 (are those still a thing?) with a scope and short mag, run it semi and wait between every shot and see how they enjoy it - if they love this style, grab a sniper and you still got an awesome spare/loaner/variety/backup. that said - its time for me to add a bolt action to my loadout1 point

Hey mate, didn't immediately recognise your username so thought you were a noob, shock horror when I checked your profile & see your more akin to a Chelsea pensioner in forum years lol😜. Jokes aside, getting in to sniping is a big step, your mindset & fieldcraft is just as important as your gun, maybe more so. Whats been your playing style up to now, & types of gun you favour ?, I ask as when players have previously mentioned getting in to the sniper role, I'll usually recommend trying a hybrid role first, think a single shot dmr role using their longest most accurate gun & focusing on the fieldcraft (& patience) aspects, no point in shelling out good money on a rifle & possible upgrades if after 5 minutes of concealment or crawling, you want to run towards the firefights.1 point

Replace the hammer, even the second gen one, with... https://www.empireairsoft.co.uk/aap01-tm-g18c-cnc-steel-hammer.html ... and you'll get no mechanical faults (the Cow Cow hammer set can be temperamental). Swap in a Autobot or Flamingo bucking and you'll hop BB's over 0.30g with no issues, change to a Hadron Loki and you'll hop 0.40g or higher. It's not a silent sidearm but massively better than a WE EU17 Gen4 (accuracy, gas efficiency) and you can use your Gen4 mags My son and I use them as our side arms, however the 1st gen hammer did fail on mine...1 point

i'm gonna offer the alternative solution: don't bring anything or in longer form, trying to work on a pew in the safe zone is at best going to be an exercise in frustration and at worst the easiest way to lose bits. do the work at home, get your gun in good order, and bring a spare (or two) if you can't accomplish it with a leatherman within a minute, it's probably a job worth waiting until you get home.1 point -

Very cheap from Amazon) Assortment of screwdrivers Anti fog wipes AR tool (for stock nut, barrel etc) Loctite thread lock glue (low strength) to fix stock nuts coming undone on both my DE and VFC Lubricants (silicone grease and oil) Chrono Battery tester (for LiPos) Spare batteries (AA, AAA, CR2032 etc) as I often forget to turn off a sight after test-firing at home Spare nuts and bolts (needed to fix MOLLE mounting on my mag pouches)1 point -

For gun room/armory interior design, it seems there are generally two common styles, either you go 1. grid mesh/pegboard/slat wall for a utilitarian look, or 2. fancy cabinets https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/03/25/top-100-best-gun-rooms/ You might want to think about coordinating a colour theme for the room (e.g. grey pegboard with grey wall and not just random colours) and designing your lighting for wall displays, i.e. spot light bars on the ceiling (Best lighting are found in museums so you can get some ideas from museum lighting design)1 point -
Depending which document you read, replicas / imitations are prohibited. Low powered air weapons are the closest to airsoft, but... then there's that. Maaaybe. But if Royal Mail counters have taken the money, you've got an implicit contract with them. Whether a court will enforce it is another question. The other option is to just use whatever courier you fancy, as "sporting goods", with any level of cover you want, and solidly packaged. If they lose it, well, how can they demonstrate what was in the package? For all that people believe and claim that businesses have access to special terms that permit sending of RIFs / airguns / airsoft guns, I've yet to see any evidence of it.1 point
