Never really gave speedsofters much thought, in all honesty I don't think I've encountered more than a couple over the years, but been playing a bit of CoD lately, these motherfuckers that go through doorways & round corners jumping around like skippy the feckin bush kangaroo are really pissing me off🤬, I guess they're the digital version of a speedsofter, so now I hate them too🖕4 points

….. and another type at a Mall doorway: the faction leaders who wave at each other through the shop window to have an ‘alliance chat’, and the one who puts his gun down to stroll into the shop door Then gets shot in the top of the head as he ducks below the line of fire, but the shooter at the doorway decides to shoot the unarmed man strolling in * The opposing faction leader then apologizes “Sorry, I haven’t told him not to shoot you yet” and then distract players in the repeated afternoon safety brief with the blood dripping from my head …… “excuse me marshall, that guys head is bleeding” * correct action strictly speaking which I cater for in my own event rules - if you don’t have your hand up then you’re a live player, and could be doing a sneaky move3 points -

TacticalWaifu and one other reacted to Tackle for a topic
Hi bud, I would do all your necessary research BEFORE you hit the road, you want to be 90% sure of what you want & how much you should be paying for it, it's very easy to get a shiny toy in your hands & retailer telling you it's all you'll ever need, only to later find out its lacking in many areas & your potentially lumbered with it. That sounds cynical I know, but thankfully you've got places like this with a wealth of experience, good & bad, to hopefully ensure that you don't regret your purchases. Plus with stock levels so hit & miss at the moment there's no point in schlepping 2 hours away to find there's feck all about & what is there is overpriced. So holler out, what gats are you considering ??? PS, this is great for checking stock levels 🤞 https://www.airsoftdb.com/2 points -
The Aliexpress shopping spree continues! Since we are required to have a red light to signal we're hit during night games, and with me not wanting my expensive Streamlight Sidewinder being shot out, I have purchased one of these https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005118740975.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.4.48433696nduIZ3&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita It also lets people know that I'm a literal dickhead sometimes2 points

The BL Tech BOSS unit was a very interesting piece of gear that was shown off years ago with a lot of hype but it seemed they turned their back on the airsoft market with hopes of getting government contracts iirc. It seems they're now back with a new name and the implied possibility of sales to your average airsofter.1 point

Well, that's a shame. Area-66 runs the occasional evening / night games, so depending how far the travel is, it might be worth keeping an eye on them. To be clear, I do like PoW, but as with Section 8, you can occasionally go whole games without even seeing the other team, especially if you're on defence. At Area-66, it's generally straight into the action.1 point

TacticalWaifu reacted to Rogerborg for a topic
Yup, sounds like he was banged to rights, and this was (in Scotchland especially) probably the least bad outcome. As per the previous thread, these T4Es are sold as "made for real-life training, drills, practice, and even less-than-lethal self-defense" (sic). They call them "markers", and they can (ostensibly) shoot paintballs as well as rubber (or conceivably harder) balls, but that's not how they're marketing them. It seems that Euan got snitched over these guns specifically, so I'd wonder if he flexed about their ned-stopping power to the wrong person. This looks to be more of a problem for paintball than airsoft now.1 point -

If you're confident teching then go for it. Personally, after my one and only encounter with that establishment, I consider their sales to be warranty free. TBH if I was looking for a particular rif, I'd ask about it on here and see if someone volunteered a lend or look locally. I've given a few people lifts and/or lent them rifs.1 point -

Skullchewer reacted to AK47frizzle for a topic
Ive used a lot 1911s in the past. Pretty much the best options are TM or KJW co2. I don't know if they're still around but secutor had some really nice co2 1911s called the rudis. they took KJWs co2 1911s, gave them a better coating and some cool cuts. I had the both the rudis II and magna (RMR) and they were great pistols until I sold them for a change. KWC models are "ok". They look and sound cool, shoot ok, but their build quality is crap. Bad tolerances, insane slide gaps and rattle, and co2 mags close their seal often. ICS have their PRS korth or BLE vulture as it is called now. Takes 1911 style mags, probably co2 ones too because of the enlraged magwell. the PRS korth was dog doodoo through and through. The ble vulture seems to be an improved version but I have not played with that one so I cannot say. King arms made 1911s in the past with their predator series which have room for co2 mags. Had one, wasn't good, never saw one again. VFC have their 1911 kimber but doesn't seem to be well received...1 point -

Interestingly his location shows up as ABUBAKAR FAROOQ ARTS 21LG... and appears to run the business "Uk center Lahore Pakistan" with pics by a Sheikh Sanaullah in June... Nearby is the very legitimate "The Buisnes" music shop... The McDonald's is apparently in Moffat, but with a Warrington postcode and a mobile number... Then, between Maccy D's and The Buisnes we have... the "Piper Bravo" oil field -- which Gopinath Subramanian rated 5 out of 5 stars 9 months ago, saying "Terrible story". (It's a rig, not a field, and it's Alpha that had the disaster, but who am I to ruin such a rurally-located inland North Sea drilling platform...) Going back to so-called @Districktairsoft, his previous 2 listings said pick-up only in Croydon, including the Dave's Custom LCT which is now up in the new "bundle" ... which "would not disappoint" when listed in May, but now "currenly not working" but still somehow worth £1100... Fascinating stuff. 🍿1 point -
Euan89 Euan Davidson 33 years old He hasn’t had this years birthday yet? On the very likely situation that this is the same case, the UKPSFs player AGM recently went into more details on why they have brought in their change of stance on paintball and the VCRA (highlighted in last years player AGM The import of home defence types of paintball guns, exceeding UK power limits and non paintball projectiles is coming to the attention of the UKPSF with all the relevant authorities clarifying specifics There are UK legal ones and non legal ones It would appear that Euans lawyer has given good advice and secured a lesser problem for Euan1 point

Personally, I've found a Carrera 2S is all you need and generates so much grip you really don't need the 4S. Although the 4S is very popular as it's got the same wide-body as the turbo (minus the air intakes on the rear arches) and the continuous light-strip for easy identification. oh, it says 1911 not 911 ... as you were 😉1 point

Talking about the Tutorial subboard specifically, but every pinned thread on the forum could probably do with some going over to see if they're really relevant, or needed, anymore. e.g. Some pinned threads in "Tutorials" are essentially just links to a long defunct website (mechbox.com - which in itself I always thought was just trying to make the word "mechbox" a thing, but that's beside the point.) Clearing out old and worth-less pinned threads can make room for our contemporaries to recreate the same content, but better and more up to date.1 point

There seems to be quite a few of these lowa scam sites going around at the moment. https://www.lowaretail.vip/ https://lowaretail.online/ A few of my friends got done by it. Some of them still don't believe it's a scam and that their boots are still coming! Biggest giveaway for any site like this is the about us and the privacy policy and any customer support emails. Also do a quick search of the url. If anything comes up saying "is url.com a scam site" it's been searched numerous times before.0 points
