So I decided to rent just to see if I like the game or not. I’m texting whit going to my airsoft game! I’m so excited!

Dose the original mag catch work in the new kit and is it with all your mags? options are all the mags are worn and so there is not enough contact to lock them in place or the mag catch just doesn't have enough material on it in the 1st place to engage the mag. or the blow back unit is not seated properly and not allowing the mag to lock in properly. 1st does the mags lock solidly with the slide off? if yes its the blow back unit. if no do the mags hold in place if you remove the spring and just put pressure on the mag release on the opposite side to the release button? if no mag catch is the issue if yes spring is the issue.

weird derailment in here. I went NAF last year, they were chonoing guns and tagging them with cableties to show that they had been tested and passed. If i remember right they were colour coded for fps so visually marshals can see if its sub 350fps, 420fps for DMR of 500fps for sniper. Not that its infallible for people bringing their own to pass without check, but at least an attempt was made. As for the weed comment, not for me. Our old neighbours used to do it every evening and it stank out our house, definately do not miss them now they have gone (by the loud day time arguments im pretty sure they were only together because she got pregnant). All people i have come accross that use it regular seem to be the most paranoid, conspiracy theorist bunch that spew the largest amount of BS that i have ever come across.

Today was another trip to Tower Airsoft in Essex; for those who don't know it, this is a small, wooded site with a castle, a church, a village and a bridge complex. Last time I was there, 150 players turned up, which was a few too many for the site, resulting in the gameplay being rather constrained; this was due to Airsoft Plantation, which is run by the same company, being closed that weekend. Today, around 40 players attended, which meant there was much more room for manoeuvre and sneakiness. It was a great day of airsoft, played in a positive spirit with no arguments or allegations of non-hit taking. It was good to run into the Reaper Ops guys for the first time in several years; the last time was when I was marshalling at Battle Lakes. My personal high point was an epic last stand in the castle; a young lad and I were the last players there and held off the attackers for a considerable time. Not long before that, I had been in the woods, working with others to stop the other team, who were the attackers, crossing the track. A BB hit me very firmly in the back, so I shouted "Hit", stuck my hand up and started walking back to the castle, passing the player who had shot me; I raised my thumb to him to acknowledge his skill in sneaking round us and into a position behind us. At that point, we both noticed that we were both wearing blue armbands! The low point was my VZ58 eating its piston; however, it is an Ares and their pistons seem to be designed to fail. It needed opening up anyway as the power was low; those wonderful Ares compression parts! I need to decide where to go next weekend now.

as above we need the model of the etu to offer anything more concrete. for a setup that uses optical sensors (titan/aster/perun optical) they can be sensitive to grease etc and you have to be more sparing in that regard than an external unit that doesn't care if the box is drowned in grease. for setups that use mechanical switches, then the area to look at is the cutoff lever and wether or not it's got the travel to activate the switch, had this problem with an ascu unit many years ago and had to loot my local shop's box of random cutoff levers to find one that had the right travel.

I feel like a virgin, shot for the very first time. Renting is a good call. If you have any problems at all with your rental gun, ask the nearest marshal for help, that's what they're there for.

If you replace that unreliable and potentially dangerous chinesium mask with some legit eye pro you'll get 2 birds with one stone. In fact more like 3 cause you'll look way cooler. From the company's own product description: "Interchangeable lenses anti-fog Ansi Z80.3 certifieo the impact resistance: for lens 420 FPS in 5 meters" First off google Ansi Z80. Then imagine a 500FPS rifle accidentally shoots you close up; you're entirely unprotected.

I have a wanted post up where I'm looking for a particular scope. I received a message from user Chankz (recent joiner), telling me to email [email protected] who has a scope for sale. I emailed 'Abraham' who sent me some website photos of the item, and had a very poor knowledge of it. He wouldn't give me an asking price and kept asking me to offer. I asked him to send me a time-stamped picture and all communication stopped. Possible scammer for everyone's attention.

did the hop creep after the 3 mag dumps? sounds like it did. Try resetting the hop or alternatively wind the hop completely off as this should allow you to empty a magazine without issue and will show if the issue is mag feed, nozzle or hop unit/rubber related. If you can empty magazines with the hop off then the nozzle and magazine are probably fine. You can also do a quick check on the nozzle by having a look inside the hop unit and firing the AEG. You should see the nozzle move back and forward with every shot (obviously without a mag inside and the AEG turned upside down). It would probably be best to strip the hop unit out and rebuild if the nozzle and magazines are fine. If it's under warranty then send it back for the shop to do it.

I've been a couple of times, granted it was over 10 years ago so things may have changed. My issues with the NAF are more to do with the way it's poorly run The two times i went I don't think I saw a chrono once either. I did have one of their marshals tell me I had to have a MED for my 8mm shotgun, despite not chronoing it. How he was able to tell the muzzle energy without seeing it fired I don't know

yep, it is indeed. good ammo is imo one of the first "upgrades" folk should do, it's the easiest variable to eliminate when facing the problem of trying to improve accuracy. can also help function, i've "fixed" many a misfeeding gun by doing nothing more complex than emptying the magazine and filling it with geoffs.

Agreed, and if I regularly saw people necking White Lightning at lunchtime, or if OP's team name was "Boozed-Up Ball Battlers", I'd focus on that. Fair point, and I apologise for implying otherwise. That was really aimed in the general direction of OP, to pre-empt any assumption or assertion that a couple of $INSERT_SUBSTANCE_DOSES_HERE over lunch doesn't really count at all.

I'd assume that [email protected] is a scam address until proven otherwise. If you search for distinctive terms in the original communication, I'd expect you'll find a few examples.

G&p magpul MOE M4 CQB. Bought it second hand for £30 as a non functioning RIF and did the research to repair it and fix it myself

Pretty sure that facemask won't work with a headset.

Finally got me one of those pop-out bipod foregrips, £12 at Ant Supplies... Yeah, pretty sure it's going to make all the difference to my pistol shooting It'll probably go on my DE M906 as I think that's my longest ranged rifle at the moment, but it's quite a chunky thing, it may not be there long, I'll probably stick with stubby grips tbh. Also nabbed a gun bag from Action Hobbies boneyard section, room for a normal assault rifle, but it also has a sniper rifle extension, which will allow me to transport my M14 properly covered up, and a second section that's big enough for the AUG HC. All for £15, a good result as they are usually £60 I'd recommend it even at the full price.

I took a trip down to Battle Sector X in Strood on Tuesday and had a great time. Well run with a quick turn around between games without feeling like I was rushed. Sportsmanship and hit taking were good with no stand out moments of obvious cheating. The only negative I can think of is that the site is very small, but that's not really something they can do much about. All in all I'll certainly be going back

First time CQB play at Biohazard in Stevenston, 4 of us played the night games and really enjoyed the layout of the site especially the second floor, took the Ronin Tk45 but didn’t even break it out, because the arp9 with tracer unit was too much fun and better suited to the environment, fairly decent hit calling by all, really friendly regulars and staff added to the experience, games where varied and evenly paced. Took it slow at first to learn and familiarise ourselves with the chokepoints etc (which possibly pissed off a few other grumpy players that just wanted to push) but we soon picked up the pace.

Experiences with Milspec can vary wildly and it seems to depend on nothing more than the owners mood / stage of drinking as to whether he will be amazing or an outright arsehole. As they barely stock anything now it's probably far less relevant anyway. I've had times where he has gone well out of his way to help post an item and times where he has replied "f**k off" to a simple product question . Both of those experiences were some years ago when he stocked more
