  1. So uh... some you of guys may remember this: Or this: And maybe this: Well, I'm glad you're back! Because here comes the fourth iteration which combines the strengths of each previous model. I'll keep this short and sweet. As per usual, the MOSQUITO is a 3D printed, open-source airsoft kit that is super compact and lightweight. This newest iteration now only requires an AK-style V3 gearbox as there is now a custom 3D printed hop-up chamber. In addition, from the above images, there is now a front and rear wired battery solution so that you don't have to get angry at me anymore for having to rewire your gearbox. You can find the STL and STEP files on the Printables page here: MOSQUITO Airsoft Kit (Open Beta 2) by HYBRID AIRSOFT | Download free STL model | Printables.com There is also an 86 page handbook that I wrote up which details the 3D printing and assembly steps (have fun with that). I hope you guys with a 3D printer can try it out. If you get stuck or want to discuss anything, the easiest way to get help is to join the discord server (1500+ members), linked at the bottom of the Printables page, and there will be people more than willing to answer your questions about the kit. This test will now run indefinitely until I release a final version of it (whenever that happens). Thank you for reading and have fun printing

  7. Unfortunately in my experience the sort of person who's going to be using that type of trigger tend to be bellends

  8. Agreed. Imo binary triggers are for people wanting to skirt round semi only rules, either because they can't shoot or are wanting to over shoot people

  10. This is such a positive review from a new forum member, as their first post that it looks almost too good to be true....like a member of the team or site owner etc has seen some negative reviews online and is trying to counter them by putting fake positive reviews out there. Details such as the fact you've played there recently, suggesting that it was your first visit....yet you know the names of 3 of the marshalls....kinda sounds fishy. I know the names of about 3 marshalls at my local site and I've been going there over 10 years. Also, the fact you seem bursting with positivity about the site and the team, it's only take 7 ish weeks since your visit to join a forum and post a review is.....fishy. it's normally 7 weeks after I've done something awesome that I'm desperate to tell people about it as well. To sum up, the site is in Oldham, all previous negative comments we may have heard about the site (I haven't personally heard any, anyway) should be ignored, it's a great site for beginners and the site is suitable for woodland and cqb so perfect for all players.....but this is definitely not an advert from the site owner in the guise of a review to counter people criticising it.

I'm a firm believer in people trying out sites for themselves rather than just going on what they hear. I've had great games at supposedly terrible sites and there are sites which get alot of praise which I found to be absolute dog shit that I won't return to

  12. A man is working in the fruit and veg department of his local supermarket when an old lady taps him on the shoulder and says "excuse me I can't find the broccoli, where is it?" He replies "sorry madam we've sold out but there should be another delivery tomorrow" and she walks away. A few minutes later the same old lady taps him on the shoulder and asks again "where's the broccoli?". Again he tells her they've sold out but the should be a delivery tomorrow. Another few minutes go by and once again she taps him on the shoulder and asks "where's the broccoli?" Getting annoyed he replies "can you spell cat, as in catastrophe?" "C A T" she answers so then he asks her. "Can you spell dog, as in dogmatic?" "D O G" she replies. "Now can you spell fuck, as in broccoli?" He asks. Confused she says "But there's no fuck in broccoli" to which he replies "That's what I've been telling you for the past 10 minutes"

  20. Have a shooters belt from them incl. pistol holster and mag holders for pistols and rifles. That includes my TM MP7. I've three on my belt, along with a pistol one and I think if I went higher than that it'd feel a tad heavy without adding shoulder straps. That aside they retain the mags well and I've not had one fall out despite much running, crawling and falling over. Always been good at letting me know what's happening with my order and have replied to queries and issues quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

  21. So if someone with a binary trigger 'spams' said trigger it's gonna be like full auto? Surely the marshals or other players will notice that and sound off. My arthritic digits can just about manage one pull before they need a rest. Since I have been dmr'ing I've not used f/a and I'm loving it 😉 Regards

  22. Got in a half day skirmish at combat action games and loved it because I finally seem to have got my hpa'd g3 rocking like it should. Highlights including me and 3 others holding a small ridge o erlooking the endor base for a good 20 minutes whilst racking up kills and taking very little return fire. But the gem for me was a shot I made in the 2nd game. About 40 metres out from a bunker i could see through the windows either side and into a bunker another 15-20 metres beyond that, I saw someone's head bobbing about so took a hopeful shot, adjusted my aim and managed to sail a bb through the 1st bunkers windows into the 2nd bunker and right onto said persons noggin. To say I was chuffed with the shot would be an understatement. For clarity dmr limits, .36bb and I only shot the head as it was the only visible part of the target.

I didn't know of the site until this post, so thank you for that. I do love some cqb in non warehouse environments. However in the rules it mentions all gun that have semi and can meet the fps rules are OK, but same page states they allow binary triggers with 2rnds per trigger pull, which isn't semi in my mind. A pinch of salt maybe....

  31. Had an amazing time at the Stirling Airsoft 36 hour milsim event this last weekend. Think I got about 5 hours sleep in total, didn't stop doing various taskings including close target recces, attacking the patrol base and ambushing vehicle convoys. Glad I made it my annual weekender!! If anyone wants a full on rural milsim event then I can't recommend one run by Stirling enough, more than happy to do a full write up but probably not that different to the one I've done previously. Platatac chest rig ran exactly as I hoped it would and was perfect for the event - really happy with the purchase

  32. The seven dwarfs were in a Catholic church. They were sitting near the rear and as the priest was speaking, they whispered and giggled amongst themselves, causing quite a disturbance. All of a sudden, Dopey stands up and says, “Father, are there any midget nuns in the church ?” “No,” said the priest, “There are no midget nuns in the church.” A little time passed and the dwarfs were again whispering and giggling amongst themselves causing quite a disturbance and noticeably angering the priest. Soon, Dopey stands up again and asks, “Father, are there any midget nuns in the city?” “No, my son, there are no midget nuns in the city or in the church.” says the priest. Again the dwarfs resume their annoying giggling to the dismay of the priest. Once again, Dopey stands up and asks “Father, are there any midget nuns in the state?” “No, my son, there are no midget nuns in the state, in the city, and no midget nuns in the church.” exclaimed the priest, obviously upset. The dwarfs continue their interference. Dopey stands up and asks, “Father, are there any midget nuns in the country?” The priest, totally angered, exclaims “No, my son, there are no midget nuns in the church, in the city, in the state, no midget nuns in the country, there are no midget nuns in the whole world!!! Now sit down!!!” Soon afterwards, a chant can be heard from the rear of the church ... “Dopey fucked a penguin. Dopey fucked a penguin. Dopey fucked a penguin.”

So another British rifle added to the collection. To most its nothing special. "Just another M16vn"..... But here I have started to build a colt model 604. As issued to the British army in the late 60s, early 70s. Now the 604 is something of a Frankensteinian. It's neither a M16VN (XM16) or the later M16A1 (model 602). Main differences are compared to either the xm16 (VN) or the 602 (M16A2). The 604 comprises of a xm16 stock with a pivoting sling mount. Not the static version fitted to the later model 602. It also sports a partial fence. The XM16 was known as a slab side, where the 602 was a Full Fence. It also comes with an A1 barrel but still uses the early 3 prong (duck bill) flash hider. The British version also came with just plain export markings, aswell as being painted black with a paint called Suncorite. Now mine is still a work in progress. Ive had the markings filled. I'm still to source the correct rear sling mount, as well as the chromo smooth fake bolt. I then tried to replicate the suncurite paint best I could. As the real paint was just slapped on. I tried the same but in the pics looks smoother than it actually is. Only other thing is slings. Early version came with AR15 slings. But very quickly guys swapped these out for SLR slings. So will look at that in the future too. Next up. A British colt model 701. To most its just a M16A2.... It is, but not quite. Main difference being, the fire selection. The US issued A2 was colt model 702. Which externally are identical apart from the 702 was 3 round burst. Where the British issued 701 was full auto. Pictured here in use during OP barras in 2000. As far as I'm aware these where only purchased in small numbers, compared to the earlier colt model 715 (C7) which is still in wide use today. With mine, I've replicated the correct export markings along with with the correct "auto" one. Upper is just a standard G&P upper with a real A2 handguard.

  35. Another Sussex dweller here! Within the list of sites above, i frequent Driver Wood (excellent), and have been to dogtag (pretty good). To add to the list if you enjoy CQB in the dark- and with weekday evening games- the Epsom air raid tunnels (every wednesday night), and the Invicta Black Site (some wednesday nights and some weekends) are worth a visit, and good if you can't get a weekend pass from your keeper! I was at Invicta Blacksite last night - absolutely awesome.

My latest purchase to swap the MP5K with on my loadout. Plan on mounting a M600 scoutlight onto it as the G&P flashlight handguards are like hens teeth. Just trying to decide whether to put optics on it, or leave it with the iron sights? Removed the flash hider and swapped out the M4 style buffer tube stock it came with which will end up for sale as it made it look too modern for me

  38. Ok. So. In short, I've been developing something since April and I believe it's nearly at the stage where I can roll out public tests. I call this thing the MOSQUITO: So what is it? It is a body kit designed to turn AK AEG internals (V3 gearbox, hop up, selector parts, and grip) into one of the smallest, lightest, and most practical AEGs to date. It was originally modeled on the PP19 KEDR. However, adapting for airsoft made it took quite a spin, so it has now become its own thing. It combines the compactness of a V3 gearbox with regular MP5 magazines which are widely available. With a length of 563mm and a weight of 1.4kg fully set up (prototype, final may vary), it is even shorter, lighter, and compact than an ASG Scorpion EVO. Just recently finished making a working prototype of a "MP5K style" folding stock which, when folded, reduces the length down to approx 340mm: I plan on rolling these out commercially but I will need to do a few alpha/beta test runs before I can confidently do that. And that is why I am asking for potential testers. I need people with an AEG AK (specifically AK) to test this product out and give in depth feedback. I will spit out some hardware requirements: A V3 gearbox of an AK variant (Front wired is ideal. A short rear wired one will not work as it needs to stretch out the front. See above photos for guide) AK selector parts AK hop up unit An inner barrel of maximum length 130mm No external mosfet. Almost nothing will fit under the top cover. You may be able to lengthen the wire and mosfet outside the gun to fit inside a peq box but no guarantees. A gate picoAAB may fit inside but also no guarantees. In-gearbox mosfets are ideal like ones made by titan, perun, or jefftron. MP5 mags if you intend to game with it. I will only be supplying one. As you can see, for such a small gun, there will be quite a lot of restrictions. However, I can say that it worked wonderfully during a game day on the 9th. Here is a test I did turning a skirmish on the 9th: What I need to do now is to perfect the selector switch, make a small peq battery box for it, and possibly a rail for optics. I should lastly say that there will be a cost if you want to participate. It will be £70 which covers the cost of stainless steel parts that are used to hold it together, as well as a roll of filament for my use. So for less than a WE GBB pistol, you get an entire kit. The final price will likely be a lot higher (>150). I will be conducting this test in a discord server. So if you are interested, send me a PM with your discord tag and I will send you an invite to it. I should also mention that there will be only 5 testers during this first test. I need to test the waters to see what I can handle. There will be future runs. Thanks for reading.

I felt the need to show this one off. After years of searching I somehow managed to stumble upon this wonderful TM Aug A1 with the steel HBAR kit with the correct bipod and flash hider. Not sure how rare these kits are but I’ve only come across a small hand-full of these. Just wish I could get myself a drum mag for it it. The inner barrel is a ridiculous 655mm in length
