I feel like that's their first mistake; thinking AI500 is anything more than a large skirmish day with ammo limits and basic uniform colour palette rules. It's far removed from any filmsim/battlesim or milsim I've ever been to, for sure!1 point -

Rogerborg reacted to SierraBravo for a topic
Its funny you should say that, one of those people is in a GBBR whatsapp chat and was spamming the chat with AI500 nonsense telling us all how it was narrative led (then went on to describe a green vs tan battlesim) and the most amazing thing we'd ever be likely to attend blah blah.... I quoted his messages after ai500 had taken place to let him know what he had said hadn't aged well..... still waiting for a reply... Judging by his posts in that chat, he has team mates who are mates with the AI team.... Classic airsoft circle jerk!1 point -
Good options for tiger stripe?
C-Diddy reacted to The_Lord_Poncho for a topic
I've taken a look - unfortunately nothing in my size in stock - however it has put me onto the idea that a chinese company called 'TMC' do crye style tigerstripe trousers etc - which look like they go up to about a 33inch inseam... food for thought, thanks! I've had a look at some of those AATV videos before - i'll have a ganders at that one when i get home.they certainly go into a lot of detail!1 point -

How many chances would you give a tech?
John_W reacted to ImTriggerHappy for a topic
One chance because if they didn't test it and gave you back a fucked gun then they are useless. Too many people call themselves techs and are really nothing more than monkeys with an allen key who got all their experience from watching youtube. To be honest most people in airsoft who call themselves techs are actually just the equivalent of me folding up a bit of paper into an aeroplane shape chucking it 3ft across the living room and proclaiming I am a pilot.1 point -

Despite enjoying using this (and getting some great "kills") on several occasions, I'm currently in the process of reducing my collection, with my focus being on keeping guns from my favourite movies. I have replaced the trigger for a ZCI aluminium one as I'm not a big fan of the "puzzle" style (not included) it came with. I've also upgraded the trigger bow (matching ZCI aluminium) and changed the trident sear spring to a stronger Guarder steel one. Some marks, with the two main areas being rubbing on the outer barrel and slight damage to the rear sight adjustment screw. I've tried to capture affected areas in the photos. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please ask any questions via PM, as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing.£130

There was this couple who had been married for 50 years. They were sitting at the breakfast table one morning when the old gentleman said to his wife, "Just think, honey, we've been married for 50 years." "Yeah," she replied, "Just think, fifty years ago we were sitting here at this breakfast table together." "I know," the old man said, "We were probably sitting here naked as jaybirds fifty years ago." "Well," Granny snickered, "What do you say... should we get naked?" Whereupon the two stripped to the buff and sat down at the table. "You know, honey," the little old lady breathlessly replied, "My nipples are as hot for you today as they were fifty years ago." "I wouldn't be surprised," replied Gramps. "One's in your coffee and the other is in your porridge.1 point -

If true I'd be posting as much negative feedback as I could. If they don't want bad feedback then maybe they should've listened to feedback from previous games and made improvements, but I suppose that would involve a bit of effort1 point -

SierraBravo reacted to Tackle for a topic
To be fair on the AI team, not only are they incapable of running events, they've got a longstanding reputation of being cheating feckers when they attend skirmishes themselves, which I've witnessed first hand, hardly inspires confidence in anything they get involved. 😏 & don't get me started on their inability to use a spellchecker 🤣1 point -
I have just been browsing your classified section and the "This advert is COMPLETED!" is a little confusing when browsing - I managed to find another topic asking the obvious question - "Does this mean the item is sold?", with the answer of course being that is does. It is a little ambiguous however especially as the "uncompleted" tag comes with a description saying it just means it hasn't been bumped. So maybe "completed" means it has been bumped?... This along with still being able to message the seller and the items still appearing in the search results (why do they?) all added up to making it difficult to know what it meant. So maybe a similar message at the top of the screen to the uncompleted tag that explains that the item has been sold/traded etc would be useful.1 point

Thank you Rogerborg for bring this to our attention. we have been in business for over 10 years and have 1000's of very happy customers as our reviews show. however we can't please everyone. So let me give you a bit of background on this situation the customer has been shopping with us for a number of years and would receive discounts and lay away schemes in our store. Sometimes taking months to pay, which is no trouble, however when he did have a item laid away he would come in ever week and use our range, gas, and ammo all free of charge. the item he purchased was a Gas blow back weapon and he would ofter use black gas in it to get a better kick. as a result of course the item broke( you would not put avaition fuel in a car and expect problems not to happen) However as he was a good customer we repaired in free of charge apart from a small part that makes the gun lock back when mag empty. he was also given £100 cash back as we liked him and wanted him to be happy. we advised that if the part can be sourced again we would fit free of charge, however he had invalidated his warranty for 2 reason. 1 being the how long he had been using it in store and then furthermore after he had finished paying for it and 2 as he had used the non recommended gas in it to get more power. However, he came in demanding a refund and was told several times that as the issue was due to missuse this is not a warranty repair. We even sent it back to the supplier who also refused warranty due to user error, i should also add that he had taken it apart himself. the day in question (yesterday) he again came in the store causing a very uncomfortable environment for other customers and staff that have had to deal with his constant abuse. In 10 years we have NEVER had to ban a customer, but yesterday enough is enough and after being advised several times of his position was asked to leave when he refused he was advised that unless he did the police will be called. No this is all a very unfortunate situation and I'm sure he will very happily embellish on the truth to make him seem like the victim. which is not the case. I have CCTV of the gas he has used, the dry firing and the abuse instore to staff and will happly post it if required to protect our reputaion. I have not mentioned his name as I don't want him to get further backlash when the truth comes out. But I hope people will realise there is always two sides to a story.1 point -
Way back when the VCR kicked in the very same small group of retailers who really pushed for the UKARA scheme to be the only way to be able to buy RIF’s , which would basically allow them to control the market(allegedly of course) once it was in place THEN turned around and created Two-tones to circumvent the UKARA scheme so they could still sell cheap ass CAR’s (Chav Assault Rifles) to the unwashed masses ! UCAP took a stance over it and have stood by that stance and I’ve always supported them for that .1 point
