Did some modifying over the Christmas break. Added a weathered GHK akm wood kit bought off a member on these forums, to my E&L AKM and also added a side rail optic mount to my 7.62X39mm LCT RPK to make it somewhat resemble a RPKN

  3. I'm gonna change my mind lol, wasn't aware of what the G&G lmg was, thought it was a real world lmg, when actually it's just an ugly m4 with a box mag, ditch that fakeass mofo😜

  4. So these arrived today Holy Shit these are BEAUTIFULLY made!!! Taking apart the mags was a bit of a dick dance as they have never been apart before, but fitted now and look exquisite Thanks @Pablo Vila Ferrero

  5. You don't need two kidneys. Really though, selling expensive summer toys just after Christmas is unlikely to net you the highest returns from the biggest market.

    Quality wire?

Used ecowire from AK2M4 and some WS deans from KOA in the past. Got a good bit one time for foreseeable projects. https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/alphawire-2-metre-pack-16awg?search=wire https://www.kingdomofairsoft.com/product-page/genuine-deans-ultra-wire

    Accuracy v weight

yeah, thing is getting one in the first place *grumbles in 1j limit*

  8. Very true. Just ran it through the chrono. 240-250 fps at approx .8j on .28s and green gas. Very surprised at the recoil for a plastic pistol. Looking forward to getting it out on the range. Will definitely be keeping everything stock for now...and probably always will tbh. Do you run green gas or 144a?

  9. Totally behind @TheFull9 on this one, I’ve got an E2 which is my back up pistol and hasn’t failed me once. I only use my Glock 19 more as I prefer the feel of it. I find the E2 actually has a much stronger kick than other pistols I’ve used, and with plenty of range and accuracy to boot.

  10. You gotta pick one of the two man. I have an E2 that I bring up at every opportunity. Been bone stock for bloody years and it just works, and works.. and works. Any weather, zero maintenance, shoots straight and far, an absolute no brainer go-to that I never ever have to worry about because when I pull the trigger it goes pop; frankly an awesome primary in close CQB. Personally I'd strongly recommend a different 226 if you want metal so you always have this dependable workhorse at your side, I'll bet any money you will massively appreciate having it in your collection always ready to go when others might let you down (depending what else you have obviously).

  12. Impulse purchase as I had a gift voucher to use. First TM pistol. Not loving the plastic, but it's all about performance at the end of the day. Only a back up too, so may go for the Guarder metal kit in time.

  13. Banana Mag EMAG for TM recoils.

  14. Yeah. I had heat a knife and alter the position of the mag indent to get these to work… see pic also check out @Rogerborgtech post which is kind of relevant to your issues

  16. Great little bits of kit, come in real handy for testing efficiency of the motors under different setups. I've also got a tach meter for measuring the RPM and a little heat sensor. Been running tests the past few weeks on the new 22TPA and 28TPA XT motors @Rogerborg Speaking to Jakub last week and he's still waiting on the chips to arrive for the Perun basic 😞

  17. You paid £42 each for the mags ! ? ! Either you got royally ripped off or someone’s telling porkies as they vary between a tenner and sixteen each ? AND you can pick up the batteries from fourteen onwards .

  20. possibly some dirt/scratch in the inner barrel? usually clipping tends to be more erratic than this sounds. alongside the usual suspects of the sights/sight mountings all being tight and square too. does the barrel look off when tightened down? eg compared to the line of the reciever/stock? same applies to if the barrel is even straight, if it's maybe taken a knock at some point. one possibility might be to try a thin o-ring squished between the barrel and receiver (thin as don't want the barrel pushed too far forward). might help, might not, but if it doesn't then no harm done. yes indeed, removing material is always a last resort. be hesistant to think you'd be able to improve things without being really damn careful or using proper machine tools (and even then mounting an AR upper square in a lathe isn't a task i'd envy)

  21. Has it always done so? If not, look at the last thing that you did to it. Two of my M4s have a badly supported barrels. Everything being square, they achieve far better accuracy than yours though. Consistent bating to one side could be all sorts from seating to the BBs clipping something. If it's un-buggered about with I'd take it apart and carefully re-assemble before removing metal etc.

  22. Those G&G LMGs don't reach much I believe. I picked up an absolute bargain in terms of price v new cost recently. It hadn't sold and the chap was glad to see it go for peanuts. The Winchester may go fastest for the best price, but seriously for what you'd get, I'd go for overtime or similar if there's any option.

  23. Working on some ICS Galil midcap inserts. While I use drums in my Galil ARM, I do like to have a trio or so of midcaps alongside my drums in case they go down. Nothing exists for the ICS Galil besides some expensive high caps, and you all know how much I hate tactical maracas. So I figure these $7 (worth of material) inserts combined with a $6 EPM spring will work. Still waiting on an EPM insert to work on the internals, so its just a solid block for now.

  24. Keep them all. From my own experience, I pretty much regret selling the ones I passed on. I also regret spending money buying some of them all over again! sounds to me like you have a nice varied spread/ collection.

  25. Same. I'm absolutely useless at woodland and always end up getting mullered. Truth be told I'm not the best at urban/cqb either but I have fun 🤪

  32. Hi @TheFriendlyBro Yeah as said by Nick G have a go yourself. Set some sort of work surface up,have some good lighting and a few screwdrivers and hex keys etc and start dismantling. It helps as well to take close up pics as you open things up. That way you can refer back to your pics if you get stuck. It's really not that difficult and you may find out you enjoy tinkering 👍 Regards

  33. Or you could just but a cheap RC Watt meter - It's what we RC Flyers use to test the power of motors before we commit to chucking our models in the air. And some of our motors are absolute monsters compared to the tiddly little things in the grips of Airsoft guns.

  34. I’ve put about 500 through mine and all the creep/ grittiness has disappeared from the trigger now. For a stock trigger it’s more than adequate

  35. I excitedly opened my present on Christmas morning, the sheer delight when I saw the Gibson logo on the box, but when I finally got to opening it, it was empty. "What the fuck? " I yelled. "You like it? " shouted my wife. "I got you your own Gibson air guitar, now you can really rock out. "

    Which rifle do I keep?

Unless your playing more themed games that demand its use, I'd be inclined to ditch the ktw winchester, it'll probably bring a good price as they're quite sought after, but at the same time not as useful in multiple roles as the rest of your collection ?

  37. absolutely, do this all the time. if your first thought is "best of three" then you know what you really wanted underneath.....

  38. With a binary choice it's simple: Assign each gun 'heads' or 'tails' and then flip a coin. Your initial reaction will tell you everything you need to know!

  39. Oh ffs. If he'd turned up with a hammer would she be closing down B&Q? Hopefully the government are as inept as usual and decide that doing nothing is the only course of 'action' they can take without monumentally buggering it up.

Ordered myself a Cyma SVD on Christmas Day only to get an email through from the supplier today telling me my UKARA has expired. 😭 A week or so and I'll get it sorted.

  42. If you've got other RIFs to use might be the perfect oportunity to start doing your own teching and upgrading. M4 platform is pretty easy to work on , changing hop rubber, barrel etc is straight forward and plenty of how too's for V2 box's out there.

Nothing airsoft related for Christmas, but I got these two excellent full metal GOATGUNS miniatures from my wife. I’ve got to say I’m very impressed with them and I think I’m going to get some more.

  46. We bought my eldest a Glock pistol and a grenade along with a dummy knife for CQB, he’s stoked. The Mrs bought me KWA Skorpion with additional larger mag, leg holster, grenade and a large gun case. The eldest bought me a dummy knife too. I’ve done bloody well!! Now trying to plan my ‘pluck’ foam interior layout.

  48. So I rocked the Tigerstripe at the weekend. Thus was a posed photo taken by a marshal in an area just off the safe zone. Mag empty, no battery in the gun. Quick question, how do people stop these kind of kneepads destroying the backs of their knees?

  50. Forged 6061-T6 upper/lower receiver Viper Tech BCM MCMR GBBR. M-LOK handguards, receiver pins, buffer tubes and buffers, buffer springs, gas blocks, and pistol grips are original parts from Bravo Company and V Seven. I installed Aimpoint AB's T2 Red Dot Sight(with Scalarworks LEAP) and Vortex's Micro 3X Magnifier on the upper receiver rail.
