I’m doing Southampton marathon in September - that count? Normally I’m out on the mountain bike but wanted to tick a marathon off the list. Need to lose a few lockdown pounds though but I think half my problem is a love of beer, I only drink at weekends but it’s a shed load of calories. Very enjoyable calories mind 🍻

Hello everyone, I am Sebastian, and I am quite new to the airsoft, but I really enjoyed every last bit of it, including after lunch when belly is full and many players just go home. Got myself some stuff already a decent rifle, pistol, some gear, waiting for my medium rifle size bag to arrive and actually I want to take advantage and ask for some tips, I am looking to buy an ACOG scope 4x32 which I have seen is very nice and found it for about £60 on Amazon, is for a G&G TR4-18, any advice? I am booked for next week at Ambush Activities and this will be the third site I will be trying after South Combat closed and Badlands have nothing until end of June. I took up martial arts to go alongside my stealthy sneaky airsoft because I want to be Big Boss. In all seriousness, I saw airsoft as an active hobby that gets me out of the house and running around nature. I always wanted to do martial arts too, but I just never got around to it, so in 2018 I just decided to jump in and thoroughly enjoyed it. Over the course of a year I got back into airsoft and started doing martial arts twice a week. I've always hated exercise for the sake of exercise, so going to the gym or jogging or anything like that was always a massive mental hurdle, but airsoft is just a fun game that I enjoy playing, and martial arts is learning a skill that hopefully won't be needed, but is good to know just in case. And now I want to be as good at my hobbies as I can be, and to be as good at martial arts and airsoft as I can be, physical fitness is a good way to do it and get a leg up on the stereotypical... mature and "well rounded" airsofter. I'm really feeling the fruits of my labours now, having dropped 50kg so far and being able to move a lot quicker, for a lot longer and handle firefights a lot nimbler is incredibly refreshing and invigorating. Still got 20kg or so to go, so I look forward to seeing how good I can be once I've shifted all this extra weight.

Aye, super impartial from a chap who's good friends with a retailer that carries Silverback products 👀. That, not insignificant, element aside... am I just blind or does this type of video just show nothing? It's been a long time since I bothered with 'airsoft YouTube' largely because it's just a hive of useless (often paid for, but rarely disclosed) information and shite peddling, but even when it was something I engaged with I've always struggled to see the point of this type of content. It's literally someone strolling around while you squint at the monitor to track a BB, only to have sound effects and post production convince you things hit because you sure as shit can't see it for yourself. If it's something you're into, you do you, but I have never understood this type of thing.

I cant recommend these things enough... they are simply the single best thing you can buy for overall training and conditioning. KETTLEBELLS Plenty of workouts on YouTube to follow that you can tailor to your time/fitness levels. Its a High Intensity Interval Training session that you can fit in during your normal day. They take up hardly any room and i believe the prices for home gym equipment are coming down now the delivery pandemic shizzle is .... well a bit better. The good thing about these is you do this at home. There's no need to travel anywhere, you don't need to spend a fortune on gear or clothing, your not spending hours outside in all weathers.... Its just you, the bell, some space and some time. I'd recommend the cast iron type ones as their physical size is smaller for the same weight as the nylon ones are filled with concrete and can be massive in size. Aim for a 12kg one to start with. My 1st one was a 7.5kg and its was too light and ineffective. I have a 12kg + 20kg plus some home gym equipment. The main movement with KB's is the standard swing, which is mainly leg based and your legs are a lots stronger than you think! You will sweat, a lot, so have a towel and water to hand and sip between each set.

This is so overpriced that I can get a return train ticket to the nearest airsoft shop and buy everything included here and I still would have spent less than this.

Had a great day today, running a very light VSR loadout and no ghillie. Had some issues with the HPA system leaking, but the tank lasted until just before lunch where I took it apart and fixed the issue, then switched to co2 for the afternoon. The line came loose where it screws into the bolt, so I just had to tighten that up. Got so many people with the VSR just holding areas and when I started playing aggressively with the mk23 I got loads of people with that by flanking as there were less numbers due to people wimping out due to rain (which all cleared up before the games started anyway). Also had a lot of success from a stealth perspective, even without the ghillie. Just observing the seven S's of concealment saw a lot of success, as I had people look directly at me multiple times and not know where I was. Scrim net over the head and shoulders, rifle wrapped and staying nice and still made me basically invisible. Paired with both the VSR and mk23 being stupidly silent and I went undetected for most of the day, just posting up and covering a location, then moving if things got too dicey.

I removed the m170 spring for it. Well spotted. You've won a free mk5 or pyro of choice if we ever play at same site.

Hey Sebastian, if you’re in the Portsmouth area depending if you prefer woodland or cqb? decent woodland site not too far from you (just up the A3 at liphook) is ucap greenops. lovely little woodland site. As for the x4 optic just use it for ID targets at distance. I generally watch my line of bbs for actual accuracy! beat of luck!

This advice is simple for those whose will power isn't strong enough to make you run/go through physical pain in order to burn fat. 1) when your tummy rumbles and you feel hungry, force yourself to delay eating for two hours and eat a NORMAL SIZED HEALTHY MEAL. don't go binging or having a XL portion just because you managed to fast for 2 hours. 2)drink water only. No teas/coffees/juices/alcohol etc 3) stretch your body for 20 mins every morning and evening. 4) cut sugar out 99% of your diet and only eat natural sugar, non of those artificial sweeteners. This is the easy way to trim down without having to put on running shoes. You can all do it.

I've given up on my AW drum mag until I've the cash to HPA tap it as well and get a small tank etc., the gun and mag just get so cold when used heavily that output valve just keeps craping out on me and other problems keep happening

Lockdowns happened and the decline set in. Now I’m going to be Ghostbusting with at least one Hi-Capa on my person, probably two. Ok - bit of bad news - I have to work on this date now and cannot get out of it. Since i've had to move dates around already and I know a few people changed things around to get this sorted - I need to hand this over to someone else OR it will be cancelled. I'm happy to refund anyone now, or you can wait until a replacement is found to carry on the booking. Its pretty much all done you just need to nail the numbers down and chase people for money. I'll give it a couple days, if nobody taking over ill cancel - i have informed Luke already. Well shit..... Was driving to play @ ACE today and windscreen wiper mechanism breaks, spazzing out the drivers side blade. (Socket sheered off) - So slow drive back to the house trying to see through the rain... Ordered new windscreen wiper bracket set and new torque wrench/socket set. (Some of my tools somehow disappeared during recent house move) Spent all week looking forward to playing..even in the rain! Even booked today as holiday from work! Pissed off does not begin to explain how I feel today...and still no GBBR from fucking UPS!!!
