Dude, thick skin, compared to Avenger63 your made of rice paper, he gets called out every other week on his prices & as far as I know hasn't responded once. Thing is, Snowflakes come & go, no one's bullied here, but we are allowed to have "active" discussions, if people don't like it they have choices,not many forums can say that. Would you rather it was like ZeroIn, where rip off merchants & scammers come & go as they please, safe in the knowledge that anyone who openly challenges them will usually have their post deleted & possibly their account suspended.... happened to me for discussing a scammer on there 🤬. As for the Fal we're discussing, I bought a similar SA58 package on here from a well respected member, with 8 mags, paid £140, bit of a difference & definitely a valid point on pricing.

See's Macks is 'hot'. "Is this it, has something happened that may cure my boredom momentarily?" See's someone grumbling about Macks, while the thing they're grumbling wasn't actually on Macks. Thus causing a bit of ruckus on Macks, while still referencing the thing that wasn't on Macks. Booooooo, I'll put the popcorn back in the cupboard. Anyway, I imagine it'll be entirely ignored but I might suggest it'd be easier the sell the RIF itself with 1 or 2 mags at a cheaper rate and sell the rest of the mags separately. Ultimately depends on how much of a 'rush' there is on completing the sale, but had it been a RIF I was interested in I'd probably look at 8 500 round hicaps as a tad excessive to the point I'm paying for things I don't really have a use for. Food for thought 🤷‍♂️.

Let's all just get along and take anything on here with a grain of salt, for mild amusement at best. One of the reasons I like airsoft is escapism from politics and stuff that actually matters and I've seen far to much of both on here recently.

you mean this convo? lets run through it shall we: original callout, just mentioning the price is expensive for what it is, which isn't unknown for this particular seller who often will link to websites in his own ads that are selling the same gun for cheaper than his price. bit of side banter playing devils advocate and defending the pricing (part of the open debate this thread is meant to have) both countering the points raised by albiscuit, again open debate and presented in a non-offensive manner. and this is the one i'm guessing you're meaning, where it is theorised (but not explicitly stated) that the gun was bought cheaper than it's being sold for, whilst also stating that there's no rule against this practice. granted there's an expression of distaste for the practice of acting as a trader via the forums, which is an opinion that can be argued to be entirely reasonable, although in this case stated with the help of memes in the banter-laden fashion that is common to this thread. i seem to be missing the bit where the toxic bullying happened?

If this thread helps people make an informed decision about a purchase or as others have send help sellers with advice what's the harm. If you put something on here for too much money and people have banter with you then deal with it. Either you don't sell it or you have to rethink the ad. To be fair the majority of listings are fair so never make it to this thread.

This thread is certainly an unusual setup, but its purpose is to highlight to prospective buyers what acceptable pricing for secondhand gear should be so they dont unwittingly get ripped off. It also shows sellers the issues that might lead to them not getting much demand for the items they're selling be it price, poor description, bad images etc. Sometimes folk just dont realise how an ad appears to a prospective buyer. It works both ways though, if someone drops an ad in here that's actually fair then that point will be raised too. For example the debate about avenger's fal has multiple perspectives going on. Of course it is steeped in banter, but nothing worse than you're going to encounter at your local site. But if someone is willing to take on criticism then it's a helpful environment, if they arent then it's open season for a bit of entertainment.

This has been covered a number of times and I am not going to repeat info that is clearly here. Its not shaming its just pointing out ads we feel are misleading or overpriced so others are more in tuned to what is a good price or do not get taken for a ride. More than once the seller has taken on board advice and reduced prices or changed descriptions etc...

The sling will either be removed or modified to be a single strap on the right shoulder to "hold" an AAP01, on the left I'll have my mk23 so I reckon it'll be pretty balanced. i've tried those, problem is the gun just tends to pull the whole rig into an awkward angle which is just as annoying. neckscarf or even better a jacket with a hood are good for preventing slings sawing your head off.

So all the parts finally came and i tested it. The rocket m110 shot at 334 with the original barrel and hop perfect fps and the jump from 290 to 330 tells me the first spring was the right power the gun must have a different air intake to the usual guns. All is good.

Well, my wallet needs CPR now.... Tippmann M4, 5x CO2 mags, ninja air line HPA tank and HPA tank pouch arrived today. The guys at Battlezone airsoft were also kind enough to throw in a pack of .3g tippmann bbs and 10 CO2 bulbs as a brucie bonus 😃

My Eotech is real too but I have searched for alternative dot sights with an Eotech reticule. Tried various types and even HD MRO's The simple answer is, I do not believe you will find one that doesn't bloom/flare/ghost, due to how all the cheaper sights are built. They shine an image onto the glass you look through, so you will get the ghost at different angles. Cannot be avoided really. Here is how an Eotech does it, here is how all cheap red dots do it. Its worth pointing out that you dont have to be running about all the time when playing airsoft, you can play at your own pace. One of the best counters to a player charging round the sides is an old bugger quietly parked in a hedge like a sentient landmine and there absolutely is value in having a couple of players in a team doing that.
