A good question. Barrel, motor, disable the recoil, flat hop (and figure out how the previous retailer messed up the Maxx hop). The other question is why you'd mention the cost of the original gnu, plus what you've spent on replacing parts and removing one of the big features of the original gnu. What's the retained value of a part or a function that's not there any more? If you're citing the value added by Negative Airsoft, remember that Luke's advice is to buy a CYMA AK and clean it.3 points

Decided to revisit the MP7 GBB platform as first time around never gave myself enough time to try & play. Bought from CamoRaids with their pre upgraded package which packs a mighty punch on 0.40 bb's Added the vortex red dot for daytime sighting, night time set up based on Zenitco Perst-4 & Klesch-2 attachments to accompany an NV monocular & Thermal imaging scope Ran this out last weekend at a Milsim during the night & the body count was high!3 points -

Its here its here! Brand new SRS 16" Covert. Installed the fast hop and the 150% SRS spring and is currently at 449 FPS or 292 FPS on .48's. Not sure if thats normal or a little low, but pretty happy with this anyway! Its very solidly built.2 points -

Always go for high speed gears and high torque motor if it's possible. Plus you're going to short stroke everything, this involves a stiffer spring to make up for the reduced piston travel, a HS motor may not be able to pull it. now @Sitting Duck is the man when it comes to motors and all that witchcraft, he may give you a more detailed answer. Those numbers are most likely the motor's RPM (which doesn't equal gearbox RPM as 18000 rpm would translate to 300 bb/s lol)1 point -

having seen the insides of one of those kwa's i wouldn't buy it based on that alone. i find it hard to beleive someone actually looked at a v2 gearbox and thought "hmm this needs more springs"1 point -

The No4's design/shape must be too old to have any sort of patent apply and afaik nobody has anything like trademark license holding over the markings that the Royal small arms factories applied to Lee-Enfield type rifles. Unless there's some aspect to the way the airsoft gun operates that's patented I can't really see what they mean there, unless Redwolf setup some shenanigans when they did theirs maybe? Be interested to know what they meant specifically.1 point

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)
GothicGhost reacted to PopRocket123 for a topic
The final version has been printed! It's been through a couple of redesigns, the bottom rail has been lowered to make room inside, the walls have been thickened, some unnecessary screws have been removed and the m Lok is now to spec. Just waiting for the fittings to arrive and for it to be dropped round and I can finally get it fitted. Then on to the M4 stock adapter...1 point -
Lol, I've done that loads of times................. only then I realise why it won't be made again....... 'cos it's usually shit😡1 point

Airsoft electric gun with custom 3d printed gearbox. Uses TM-compatible parts for gearbox v3 and m-series mags. Barrel length 455 mm. For extra toughness of construction used 10x20 mm alluminium channels. Gearbox tested with 148 m/s (487fps) output and works well. Gun is open-source, files may be downloaded on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:29163901 point
