  1. We’ll seeing as most speedsofters do generally hose the F*ck out of everyone wouldn't Hozeloc be an appropriate manufacturer ? 🤔 Is that the new HPA one ? 😂 now if someone could add a top loading system for faster feeding then “oh they already did , it’s call a paint marker “😳

My take on international sales now we have left the EU is there’s a price on the web page for the order , you then add the P&P which gives you the retailers final delivery price . You then bend over the kitchen table with a large jar of lube at hand and wait to see what the F*uk it’s going to cost you in the end and who’s going to buttf**k me first with ‘taxes/charges/handling fees/‘ or what ever other scam they can think off as I haven’t a scooby do what’s going on any more ?🤦‍♂️

  6. Almost anything could be mistaken for a firearm if held in the appropriate manner and waved around so bystanders couldn't get a decent view of it. We can all agree that people play for different reasons and I'm OK with speed-softers and paintballers etc. as long as they don't mix with my/our game style which is more milsim. I'm definitely with Shamal that if it goes too far in the speedy direction then I'll be out 🙄 (I don't think it will though) [1400 posts yay]

  7. So a pressure washer lance or garden watering attachment could be mistaken for a rif? They are in various colours. A short sighted, colour blind person could think they were firearms. I know I need a rif to play airsoft. If I'm not allowed a gun in the real and universally accepted guise of a gun then I will step down and take up bloody basket weaving! I play because I can dress up and run around like a nutter with a real looking gun.take that away and what's the point. Back me up guys......🙏 Regards So if I spray my dewalt drill black would that be a rif? If I point it at a plasterer at work they invariably throw their hands in the air and say dont shoot. 😉 Regards

  9. I'm going to take a WILD stabby guess it is a SRC... likely a 2 piece hop unit and possibly plastic receiver with loops... qwirky old old school stuff - not bad starter for year 2010 but £70~£100 Cyma M4's now piss all over it Carbine - front wired, 2 piece hop, oldie loop receiver not worth a great deal - even if fully functional Dust cover looks lop-sided in pic, cosmetic, drop down dust cover on mid range sportsline SRC's (on "some" ultra cheap Dragon SRC's, they were sprung/pull down like G&G CM Carbine/Raiders & on "some" Dragon's they had a plastic gearbox box (gen 1 perhaps) But then "some" other Dragon's had drop down dust cover & metal v2 (gen 2 I guess) gearbox SRC really mix up their stuff, though I expect yours is not a Dragon cheapy SRC BUT likely to be a gen 2 metal v2 box with SRC green plastic 6mm bushings perhaps and perhaps a plastic loop receiver (think the so called Gen 3's were metal receiver & better gearbox with metal bushing/bearings) Some vids if you are thinking of messing with a SRC... 6mm green bushing box (rear wired - yours is front wired) here is what your gun "might" be & teardown of it loopy receiver & maybe metal bearing/bushings not plastic bushings (still likely alloy dairylea sector gear though) YES - it is advisable to remove motor grip completely before seperating "looped" receiver & sliding apart including sliding box out too (saves them loops snapping off, if you try to open like ICS split gearbox M4) might be metal one piece hop unit, but SRC & JG kept ye olde 2 piece hop for a while in some of their cheap~mid range guns (it really is a bit of lottery what spec some SRC's are - they are a mixed bag around 2015) it could be a G&G but I'm leaning towards most likely a plastic SRC in that puke green likely bought from a place with " BB " in its name (coz I bought one (or two) from there but in black/orange in 2014) the bloke is a legend - at selling shit plinkers to noobs like moi missing fire selector - well there isn't one on the side you shown it is not ambi fire selector, only on one side as first vid shows like most M4's If you can find a battery/power source & test it maybe consider tearing it apart if you wish or shove it up for say £30 or something like somebody suggested as a boneyard 2-tone SRC - Shiny Rainbow Company (Taiwan) weren't bad back in the day but have lost ground as cheap Cyma's have improved their cheap as chips starter guns SRC - Dragon - BullDog M4's are basically same/similar SRC's of one description they still do some better mid range models but generally SRC's are not that popular now (£100~£150 can get you a pretty decent starter these days) in its day it was a pretty decent starter - but even running I don't see it being worth much more than £50 s/hand best of luck

    Brexit Import Taxes

Been doing a bit of digging and this is what I've come up with so far (I may be wrong of course) All this relates to Orders Totalling above £135 (Since Gunfire in particular require this for an order) You can look up the Trade Tariff Commodity Code relating to Airsoft here: https://www.gov.uk/trade-tariff The code I found most relevant was 9304 (Other arms (for example, spring, air or gas guns and pistols, truncheons))... This category brings up this info Consignments valued at more than £135 Normal VAT and customs rules will apply on importation of the goods into Great Britain from outside the UK From what I read HERE, the VAT can be applied at source by the seller in the originating country if they're registered to do so (which most European suppliers already are) Or they may charge local TAX (which is higher than UK) (I don't think this is common for Airsoft though) If not included in the sale then it will be applied by Customs upon entering the UK and passed on to the post service who will ask you for payment before delivering (plus a handling fee because they have to pay Customs) So the VAT situation doesn't seem to have altered as most retailers add VAT to UK orders anyway. Going by the info above, the new fee is the Duty at 2% of the order value. (Not sure if that includes delivery costs) I've emailed Gunfire for their calculation of fees but not holding my breath for a clear answer. ....its a bloody mess...

  18. Yes it is a RIF RIF does not mean ‘looks like a real firearm’, but ‘anybody could think it’s a firearm’ Its not in the specified colours to meet IF status In paintball a UK retailer of realistic paintball guns was visited by the Association of Chief Constables as part of a fact finding study. They stated the obvious that the realistic guns would in their opinion be RIFs, and that the retailer ought to consider the implications of the VCRA in case they returned in a formal manner. The retailer introduced a voluntary UKARA style scheme. However, less obvious to many was that they also considered every other ‘non realistic’ paintball gun in stock to be potential RIFs unless they were in the specified IF colours. The company included these in their scheme and offered non scheme alternatives. They received much criticism until they gave the above reasons, other retailers had a sharp intake of breath and twitching backsides. This has been forgotten over the years and the scheme has been lost to history. The UKPSF (recognised representarive body) have since reraised the question to the Home Office and a document sits on the internet stating that paintball either has get out clauses in that paintball guns are ‘low powered air weapons’ and skipped the more recent joules problem due to being designed for ‘frangible projectiles’ (in which case they are legally unlicenced firearms so are neither IFs nor RIFs) or aren’t firearms and fall into the VCRA. It adds that UKPSF membership ‘might’ qualify as a scheme for the VCRA defence. Lots of ‘might be’ which are untested in court. I don’t plan on my potential RIFs and highly likely RIFs to be tested in court The Atom being a speedsofter design has paintball looks and is verging to ‘ergonomic’ design rather than copying the designs based around real gun physics. Its up to a retailer whether they think the VCRA applies to their sales, and as long as people don’t act as dickheads there won’t be a court case to find out for sure You don’t need a RIF to play airsoft. But the industry arguement while the VCRA was being drafted was that players like to dress up and immerse in the game, part of which included having a degree of ‘realism’ As long as their are people dressing up, and particularly that there are sites and events catering to them, it doesn’t matter that there are others playing who don’t

  19. I don't have an issue with it other than: Try making a rational argument to a politician/political group that we need RIFs to play airsoft when these are/become available. A platform specifically designed for airsoft use is always going to be superior to something based on a real firearm which has certain design compromises because it is a firearm. Imo community would split over the suspension of disbelief element as some would shoot themselves in the foot and decide it's fine as they don't need a RIF to play speedsoft or a walk on skirmish. I think the government will have another crack at airsoft sooner or later.

  22. Its not an RIF, its an ROF- Really Offensive Firearm I suppose credit where its due, it doesnt have a stupid double blade trigger and at least the design choices seem to be driven with good function over form. I dont like it, but i can see why a speedsofter would.

  25. Those kinds of mechanisms rarely rely on springs staying always compressed, so my guess is that the system is relaxed at first (no mag), spring then gets compressed (mag is being inserted) and released again (mag seated) and then the spring gets compressed to allow the magazine to be removed.

  27. I find Facebook is a bit like my rota for work , I’ll be on it for a few days then I get a day off (read ban) Then I have another long run of days on , then I get another couple of days off , then every now and again I get 1 or 2wks off !😉 like today now I’ve got 3 days off simply for directing a reply to an America Covid denier who’d said the rioting was like the pandemic , all fake news and they weren't the trump supporters rioting in Washington , the protest had been ‘infiltrated’ by ANTIFA supporters and they where the ones who attacked the capitol building , so I said to him and I quote ; “Infiltrated by ANTIFA ? Are you mental ? All you can see in all the film and pictures are wall to wall inbred rednecks ! there’s not a greasy haired pimply faced skinny ass’ed middle class part time socialist kid to be seen anywhere ! You truly are a mongtard swallowing general bonespurs lies like a toothless 5$ Crack whore working on her knees !” End quote . Apparently that’s “bullying” and I got 3 days off ! Well there ya go , Who knew ? 😳

  28. I find I join a particular group because something has spiked my interest, but I'll soon tire of it & get rid of said page. A good example, mini/monkey bikes, in the summer I passed a convoy of about 40 of them, all "grown" men lol, being a biker myself I'm like "wtf is that about" & promptly joined a couple of pages, which I see occasionally on my feed, & TBH I've come to realise it's just little bikes, pointless for most uses, so I'll get rid of the pages anytime soon.👎
