So I currently have 12 APS Smarts, with 25 XPowers on the way. This is actually the already-converted APS version, with steel parts instead of the orange painted ones.2 points -

"Downed Airman" Vietnam kit is just about done - close enough to share at least. I still need a faithful shotshell pouch and due to the EPM-1S mags being taller than standard 20 rounders I need to either get 30 round mag pouches or general small arms mag pouches - still undecided on those. Also waiting for helmet parts to arrive - some missing bolts, fresh straps and foam, etc but none of that is visible so itll look the same as it does now. Ill actually play with it with the visor up and proper eyepro instead, but for pics visor down is Ace.2 points -
Finally got a holster and a shit load of CO2 for my Shadow 2 that I got in November so I can skirmish it tomorrow for the first time. I haven't ran a sidearm yet, so excited to finally put it to use. Some say you never need them... But at my local indoor CQB site there are several extremely tight stairwells with corners at the top/bottom where my 14" Barrel just won't go around and I have to drop the business end meaning there have been numerous times I just cant get a shot on someone. Lost count the amount of times I couldn't engage on said stairwells and had to shamefully walk back to respawn. Now I have been dealt an equal hand 😁1 point

What shells are you running through this dude? I think you can get a different barrel to allow APS shells to be used1 point -

Just wanted to give these guys a mention as I've used them a couple of times and have always had great service and their prices are fair https://forcesuniformandkit.co.uk1 point -
But….1200$ From Jk is around 1000£ plus import duty and postage brings it to around 1300£. 2 Grand seems a bit… greedy?1 point

Trirock operate as an Amazon Seller in the UK - whilst more expensive, some of the product range is available is fulfilled in the UK and next day if you are a Prime customer. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?i=merchant-items&me=A1U4QU6OMEB9GE&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P&qid=1673688995&ref=sr_pg_1 TBH, I'm in the market for a 7in MLOK NSR Rail - I am tempted to take a punt at ordering from them directly.1 point -
Nitecore HC60 or HC65 comes as either a standard light which you can get the NVG mount adapter, or as an NVG mount version straight out the box. You’re looking at about £80-£100 all in either way, but they are available.1 point

I don’t know about the rest of their range, but if they’re as effective as the MP7 I’d have no issues buying one! if you’re ever at Invicta let me know and you’re welcome to take mine for a spin.1 point

What TM pistol is the best?
Tactical Pith Helmet reacted to BigStew for a topic
1st two why? A pistol is a back up gun. if you can hit centre mass at 20m you're laughing. if that's your criteria H&K MK23 is the best. No blow back to throw of your aim, It will out range AEGs and its function is less harsh than a GBB. If you want a GBB they are all pretty much the same performance wise. on 144a gas with 0.25g BBs you can get consistent hits out to 35m to 40m. the newer models HK45, FNX 45, M541, m9, 4th gen Glock all have newer design Blow back unit which is more efficient and nicer finishes. I personally Like the HK45 but in the end all of them will pretty much be better than any other brand of GBB. Yes they can run on high powered gas and it will shorten their life span. they are designed to run on 144a and that's all they need.1 point -

What ever you like the look/feel of the most really. They are generally good consistently across the range. In my experience the hicapa 4.3 or 5.1 (no parts availability for the DOR variant) the HK45, the usp and the fnx45 are all very good performers1 point -
2 grand for lets be honest here.... an m4 with slightly different trades and giving money to Cybergun due to the licensing. Nah, you're all right mate.1 point

Looking at their 'About Us' section, they accept PayPal. You can check their ISO registration if you want more reassurance but I would think that you're fine.1 point -
Table Top skirmish game for Kids?
Speedbird_666 reacted to concretesnail for a topic
talisman is a great game. if you want something that has an easier jump from traditional board games have a look for hero quest, its original form is great and i thinnk its just been reissued via a kick starter. another option, a game i always seem to find way back to, blood bowl. it has had numerous table top versions and digital copies. its a fantasy sport based brawler based around minitures forming teams which develop as you play.1 point -
Once during a skirmish, I was reloading, and threw a handful of BBs over a barricade. The opposing player called the hit.1 point

Negative Airsoft is in love with them so they must be good Seriously though they've got a very good rep, and the 32's and 28's I bought were spot on (and I noticed quite a few players furtively looking at the bags due to the Warhead name and logo), but it's hard to get a really poor BB unless you spend peanuts on them.1 point -

OP obv not browsed through the MWS thread. As others have said don’t mess with it, it doesn’t need ‘upgrading’. Carry a spare nozzle return spring and nozzle, TM or GM brand. You will be carrying these spares NOT because they will break due to a design flaw but because if you do need them they can be hard to find in a hurry. Over a looooong time the return spring can fatigue - like 10s of thousands of rounds. And the nozzle may get damaged if you get crud in your mag, or use crap/old/swollen BBs Again most people break nozzles because they’ve ‘upgraded’ other parts. Leave it alone!!1 point

Buy the nozzle return spring, a harder nub and don’t touch anything else. It will be golden and last you a good while before anything needs fiddling with.1 point -
