  1. So I asked my boss, "What do you want me to do with this six metre roll of bubble wrap?" He said, "Just pop it in the corner"... 4 hours it took me!

  10. Took the plunge and purchased the rare arms ar15 shell ejecting rifle few weeks ago.so far gun is good and with gimmick of shells flying out of the receiver and the game of hide and seek to find them again lol.so with only the one mag I looked on the net only to find none in stock and cost £26 a pop.so I purchased 2 5.56 metal mags from the net at £7.99 each and when they arrived it was off to the workshop.well 3/4 hr later and some scrap plastic and quick metal putty and a drop of superglue I had a working metal mag at the fraction of the cost of the plastic one they have on offer 😀..anyone else with this rifle feel free to msg me and can run you through the process 😀

  11. The back story; Desperate to hit the fields this weekend and wanted to ensure I had some better eye protection that previously. Checked out Bolle 800 and 1000 at a local store only to find both strongly disagree with my nose. Gutted. Frantically check local army surplus stores but come up with nothing. Later that evening while searching for unrelated things, someone drops a link to £5 dickies safety goggles! Imagine my shock when they're available nearby for collection the following day! The goggles; Feel good, but lack foam and so i'm worried about overheating or fogging. I haven't been able to use them in anger yet, but will do tomorrow. If you are collecting in-store are available in other options than stated online. Mine are clear! Where to buy; Link will be in the comments, I'd rather not have the entire post automatically deleted by a bot. I was in a hurry so popped in to my local branch of in-excess. They can also buy them online by checking out the in-excess website. I have attached some fitpics so you can get an idea for sizing and also to add some colour to this post. ..It's kinda cool having the dickies logo on them.

I seem to remember that US retailers had to sell the upper(slide/barrel/BBU etc.) and the lower as separate store items to circumvent the Trade Dress problem. It meant the user had to order both and assemble the gun into it's final Glock-looking form.

  13. The original is just a solid 'bar' all the way across that fits into a recess at the back of the plastic hand guard , the later one has a slot in it in the middle. If you line the DD rail up with it you will see where it needs filing out. I just ordered the replacement incase I buggered up the filing !

  14. Hi mate. Just curious what the difference is between the "modified" one and the "standard", as I'm gonna be modifying my standard one to fit the rail.

Yeah I built one years ago, sold and subsequently regretted it 😂 But yeah I’ll probably change the flash hider, grind off the bayonet mount, then a DIS or replica, and a PEQ 15. To begin with anyway…

    Custom TM XDM

    This advert is COMPLETED!

    • For sale
    • Used

Upgraded TM XDM Airsoft surgeon slide set which cost over £200 new (Very ltd edition with upgraded inner barrel, I believe PDI) and TM base with custom stippling. SM flamingo bucking installed. 4 gas tight mags (The bit you pull the spring back with has snapped on one mag but still works just fine) The stock guide rod on the kit is too short and didn't come to the end of the slide so the previous owner had JTAC custom CNC an extension which screws on so it sits flush.

Exactly. Glock don't care, directly, whether any particular bbGunz4U vendor is selling trademarked toys or not. All their bottom line sees is the income from licensed toys. As long as someone is willing to pay them that, it's literally not worth their time or money to go after retailers. The only certainty there is up-front cost to them which they may or may not recoup years down the line.

  23. Easier to use a classic army . AK etc sr25 . They are cheaper too . And maybe a mancraft kit( which I use ) . With max hop and good barrel . U can use mancraft u shape adapter in rear so can change between co2 capsules or small bottle . Or unclip and use regular bottle . Mancraft also do a stand alone mech kit that replaces the gearbox . Which means is perfectly aligned evrytime for shot consistent

Having bought my TMs from UK retailers, one who advertised that trades would be removed, they've all been fine. It's mainly for the HK models as far as I can see, as VFC have the official license

  27. I don't have an HPA stock. I use a 10ci tank (which is apparently now discontinued!) in a stock pouch. It pokes out a little bit, but doesn't really affect me as I can still shoulder it on the right (though not on the left, but I rarely set up shooting from my left shoulder. Not looking forward to if I have to replace the tank as I'd have to go 13ci which are longer and may not be practical in a stock pouch I used to run the same with my m21, but for a semi-auto build it wasn't practical as 300ish shots with a bolt action will last me all day, but around 500ish shots with a semi-auto can be a bit tight. The only pic of my setup I have is with my m21, which I no longer do, but it's the same with my VSR setup: In terms of HPA stocks I honestly don't know much about them, so you may be stuck with CO2 if you don't want a line and tank (even then I don't know much about the CO2 stocks, just the adapters). I know there's one for the MTW (Wraith Aero stock) as I know a guy who has one, but I don't know if they'd be compatible with something that isn't an MTW. I generally just run a tank in a backpack when I run my HPA m21 and it hasn't ever really been a problem for me. I can still sling it and the line never gets in my way, though I'd rather not have it, hence I'm going AEG at first with my SR-25 build.

  28. Wonderful thing about the hobby is there's not really a "wrong" way of doing it in terms of gear and gun preferences. As has been said, you can play with a stock Cyma AEG and some surplus gear for a loadout that will cost <£200 in total and have as much fun and be just as effective as the guy in full Crye gear with a TM NGRS kitted out with real-steel shooting accessories and sights. It's very much a "you do you" hobby and anyone who says you "must" play a certain way should be ignored. I'll always give prospective snipers my opinions on stuff, but I'll never be like "you're doing it wrong", even if they rock up to a game with a bolt action rifle dressed as a hot dog as if that's how they want to play, then that's how they should play!

  29. My new mag pouches arrived from China (in fairly good time), and I can happily confirm they're the same size as the very first mag pouch I ever bought, and they happily accept (and retain!) the STANAG, AUG and M14 mags. They allow easy extraction and re-insertion. Obviously the STANAG M4 mags are the least secure, but I can still hold the pouch upside down and give it a shake without an empty Lonax mag falling out. And that's before I've tweaked the bungee cords. The MOLLE clips aren't brilliantly made (and the the retaining bits have some sprue on them which I'm trimming off, to improve their fitment) but yeah - they're good pouches. Especially for the low price they cost. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001220175776.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.4519f19c2WJPtx Time to get the rattle cans out and make them a bit 'MTP'. And to return the WAS 7.62 pouches and get my £60 back. Also got the M14 sight mount. Annoyingly the bolt for the forward hole is too big for the hole on the Cyma's body, I'm going to need to ream that out a mm or two. I used to have the thread tool with a variety of bits, but I've misplaced the damn thing... It's a heavy lump of metal, on a heavy gun. I don't think I'll be putting a full scope on it... unless it's to use for a couple of short games! Edit: Oooh I do love an unexpected visit from the delivery man... Visionking 1.25-5 scope. Got this on the classifieds, stuck it on my DE and I'm already impressed. Nice clear glass, good illuminated reticule, and it was even zeroed pretty well It's quite heavy though - it won't be going on the M14!

  31. It'll be a tough market to break into, I'm fascinated to know how they're going to get past the Catch-22 of persuading any sites to use a scheme before any retailers have signed up, and vice versa. Sites have no incentive to use anything else since there's zero cost to them or their players. Retailers are already paying to use UKARA, so aren't going to be in a hurry to pay another scheme. I genuinely wish them the best of luck, they'll need it.

    Custom Pistol Build Thread

Here’s something that’s a bit of a work in progress. Got a ring pull style selector on the way that’s more in-keeping with what people seem to use on the actual MK4. A friend is printing a much lower profile mount for the Viper that’ll take it much closer to bore. Since concept, the goal has gone from MK4 Lite to MK4 target, so when I get all the upper elements Cerakoted to match; I’ll get some accurate trades lasered back on. The Ruger medallions will end up set in some wooden grips for a less “tactical” and more “old school plinkster” look Next headache is getting it site legal. There’s a 180mm barrel in there that’s currently delivering 1.5j in full auto… Going to try either restricting the nozzle or shimming the rocket valve to bring that down to 1.1 on temp appropriate propellant or HPA at 95psi
