I get zero single shot lockup, this was either the new motor or Titan battery, did both at once after lots of single shot lockup, so it was one of those or a combination. I did not need the MOSFET. Not looking for anything other than just showing off because I’m very very happy and can’t wait to use it. yes, it is a lot of mags. No I cannot ever use them all

Mags and trigger printed in resin for the VFC SCAR H AEG.

Bought broken vfc mp7 aeg and after few weeks of waiting for trigger micro switch i got it back to working condition with perun ab++ mosfet, bullgear cnc tappet plate and gear clip and entire aeg rewired to work with mosfet apart of mag cut off feature which was removed due to known feeding issues. Rest of the aeg works as intended at 285fps on 0.25g bbs.

1. Better an administrative warning whenever a post offers to auction (sell for money) a non-airsoft item (console game). 2. I've seen one start spewing smoke in the safe zone when someone yanked out of his gun by the balance lead. It got lobbed into a bucket pretty sharpish. And I've had an RC helicopter totalled when the lipo went up. I suspect the outrunner motor may have worn through the outer covering on the Lipo . My fault if so as the battery wasnt in quite the right position. That was 'interesting' when it started spewing smoke ! got it on the ground before it went up at least.

I make that 0.0001261148327138J of rotational kinetic energy, or a lot less than that required to hold it up, so it's got to be leeching that (small) amount from the linear. Insignificant compared to the drag, I was just curious, unlike some peasants in here.

0.25s will hop 100% - 0.28s are better and the go to but not 100% sure if they are hoppable with the stock rubber - I am currently running 0.25s despite having a ML Yellow ZCI barrel because the site I went to that was all they had... It's also important to know what type of site you go to. 0.28s are usually better outside and for distance however in cqb you will be suprised how well a 0.20 can perform If you want to upgrade or anything in the future let us know.

Visually the delta recon is the most similar but if you want an m4 opposed to 416, the mk18. The kwa has harder kick than the tm, and will have higher power out of the box, though it might still need a rubber change for our climate. The tm has the stop on empty function whe using the correct magazines.

As a purveyor of airsoft tuning bits that actually knows what the fuck you're on about, I would say 'almost uniquely odd' at the very least. 😜

@furylemon97, try somewhere else to compare. Absolute was actually my first site and got my first UKARA there. I thought it was OK until I tried other places. 'Red Alert' is good nearby and so is Skirmish Wycombe' a bit further.

I’d say a pattern is definitely emerging of some kind of operator ‘miss handling’ being a major factor in all the stories with any kind “oh shit it’s burning !/its jetting out smoke !/its going nuclear on me !” in it but few “it just exploded all by its self for no reason at all !” stories ?

Fair enough, to be honest they tend to be ongoing builds ! Just when I thought my A2 was more or less done was when I found out that the buffer tube needs some of the threads removing and the buffer nut is different. My A1 GBBR is pretty damn close and I'm working on a GBBR A2 build for a mate which likewise is going to be very close, but I need to go back to my AEGs and add some extra details that I didn't know about at the time. My AEG A2 build, about to be revisited!

It may be coincidence but this is the only site where I've been hit (in the eyebrow above my eyepro) that actually drew blood. It was a 10m shot from a pistol (probably Co2) Pistols don't generally get tested at sites I know but Co2 ones are not allowed.

It's a great start for a 119 A2 build, however I'm going to ask if you intend to add the proper details ? pistol grip and stock are not correct for an A2 , needs the reciever mods on the upper etc. Not running it down , its a good looking gun but rather like the AI magazine build more an 'impression' of an A2 at the moment.

Except you can't, because the Magnus effect in the case of airsoft BB's provides lift. It also produces increased turbulence in the BB's wake which contributes to drag which affects the terminal energy. Axial spin in rifled barrels increases range by the conservation of angular momentum which is a whole different kettle of ballistic fish.

Cheap as chips floor mats. Check your local DIY store for deals on multipacks of it. Just use the "back" side outwards (a lot of it will have diamond plate patterns embossed on).

Very little I should imagine. The "soldered together cans" is why the Titans only come in a few different form factors of course. I have four of them now but they've not been on the market quite long enough for personal experience of their claimed longevity but all I've done with them so far is charge them, use them and then chuck them in my kitbag (in a LiPo Safe bag - I'm not THAT mental).

Moment of inertia of a sphere, I, is 2/5 mR2 Rotation energy is 1/2Iw2, where I is as above, and w is the angular velocity (how fast it's spinning, radians per second if we're doing SI rather than fathoms-per-demihectare). I make that 1/5 mR2w2 We know m (e.g. 0.004kg), R (e.g. 0.002975m), now we just need to paint a BB with a battenburg patten and film it with a high-speed camera to find out w. Granted we're down at 0.0000000070805 w2 for a 0.4g BB, so we're not talking big numbers.

Not sure about you, but I had to massively up my pistol game to be able to run the semi-auto or bolt-action play style and not get caught out when people get inside of my minimum engagement. I got a little round of “nicely done” from some dead enemy players couple of weekends ago when I took out the last AEG player who was dug into some cover with my KC tucked under my right arm, firing the pistol with my left. More luck than anything, but I landed one on his baseball cap before he could get a bead on me. Big grin behind my mask!

They're metal cased (effectively 18650 type cells joined together) so it's highly unlikely but never say never!

Sadly, they're pretty fragile. I'm not entirely clear on the problem you're having, but would note that the pump has to be fully forwards before the trigger will activate. Since it's currently stuffed, I'd give it a good old heave and slam in both directions. If you start disassembling, you'll end up with an awful lot of small parts and are unlikely to find replacements for any broken bits, so I'd avoid that unless Bullseye don't fancy taking the return.

We're quite friendly here, and where we disagree, it's generally respectfully, understanding that there's no single right answers. And there are few wrong answers or dumb choices either, because spending even three figures on any toy gun for playing pretend soldiers is such a daft thing to do in the first place. Whatever puts the biggest smile on your face is the right choice for you, that's the only criteria that really matters at the end of the day. I would steer clear of VFC, though. The sweary tech in that video up-thread, Luke at Negative Airsoft, seems to spend half his time sorting shagged-from-new VFCs. Lovely externals, but the internals seem to be either peaches or lemons.

Well they should also be making sure guns are cleared too. As a business they have a duty of care to paying customers (especially under 18s) and should be actively enforcing safety rules, rather than just paying them lip service. By being proactive and stopping potential incidents they wouldn't have to worry about reacting after any damage is done

I fully agree that airsoft sites should only have airsoft toys at them. Even if you know what you've brought, the skip licker who thinks it's funny to pick it up and "pew" it at someone won't. I include metal pellet air guns in that, I've seen folk shooting them on airsoft ranges.
