Used BBs for sale
Happy and 3 others reacted to Colonel Kurtz for a topic
One of the risks of buying anything 2nd hand is you don't know if it's stolen, or has any outstanding finance on it. And with airsoft there's the added risk of catching Paintball Transmitted Diseases if the BB was used in a HPA system. If anyone is concerned about the validity of any 2nd hand BB's purchased from Jedi Master or other fine eco-warrior retailers, please post a picture of your BB(s) and list their serial number(s) and we'll be happy to verify it for you. Note: (Serial number is written in magic ink on all BB's under UK(ara) law, and may not be visible/display correctly if you're a twat)4 points -
Used BBs for sale

In a time of austerity the airsoft community needs to take the hit as well and do what it can to help. Having seen the sheer number of used BBs just lying unwanted on the ground I have decided to start collecting them up and will selling bottles of used BBs at discounted prices. Each bottle will contain genuine used BBs in a variety colours and weights from all major and minor manufacturers. Unlimited stock levels for one additional free bottle with each order just quote you UKARA license number. Key advantages as follows: Colour mix - great for confusing the opposition team into thinking there are more players shooting at them because of all the different colours. Tracer BBs included at no extra cost. Hassle free hop set-up - mixed weights will mean that there will always be some BBs in each bottle perfectly suited to your gun, simples. Aerodynamic performance - some BBs may have small dents and dimples just like golf balls and so they will fly further and faster than smooth BBs! Environmentally friendly - used BBs save the planet's plastic resources and is an example of true recycling (supported by European Green parties). Nearly new condition - used BBs are almost as good as new ones, having only been fired once so mint condition, a real bargain. Proven track record - used BBs have already been fired which proves that they are fully working. So, if you want to receive your bottle of used BBs (as well as help save the environment and do your bit for austerity) then click the LIKE button. Light hearted poke at funny item descriptions and reviews
Jedi_Master and one other reacted to Hef Legend for a topic
So a few times this week, I've been told or have stumbled across some entertaining item descriptions and reviews. I thought we could have a laugh and see who can find the best review/comment/description on airsoft items. So the format is: Website/Source > Description/Review > your first thought Here's a few I've seen: Only bb guns - "CCCP range of full metal spring pistols are extreme high quality pistols (powered by the original galaxy)." - WTF?! Airsoft GI - "When it comes to playing airsoft, bb's are arguably the most important parts of the games" - Please......go on2 points -

Maybe I've missed the giggle, but: I think they mean washing them before using them (i.e. when they're new), which is equally pointless. Some companies use a dry lubricant during the polishing process that stays on the BBs - I say simply don't use those brands as it builds up in your barrel a lot quicker. It's hard man. There's so much confusion in this thread that I can't tell joke from serious - I guess we can call it a success. On the upside, if you're a sniper using Mixed Weight™ PREmium-owned® BBs, then your shots are going to land in completely different places and the enemy is going to have no idea where you're shooting from. There's big potential for this I tell ya.2 points -
Who here Runs russian load outs?
Happy and one other reacted to EvilMonkee for a topic
We arent a purely Milsim team but we do lean in that direction. Our own events tend to be closed to non members and we have quite a bit of Russian armour (3x BMP 2x BDRM) available to us. Join the group and make contact with your local Bolsh or just even ask questions.2 points -
I took my BBs to my friend who is an airsoft tech and he said there are 50 million things wrong with them. I need my money back.2 points

UAR
GingerBreadMan reacted to TheGrover for a topic
I thought the uar had a pretty standard v3 box, not 100% though. I was thinking of buying this as my first gun, but went for an ICS instead certainly a gun you don't see often, I think I've seen one in the whole year I've been part of the sport1 point -
Buying an AEG.
Sitting Duck reacted to ImTriggerHappy for a topic
Couple of things At the cheap end £150ish G&G is definitely better than ICS which is why I linked a couple. Other than that though G&Gs are not very good. Dont know who says at the £250+ mark G&Gs are better but they are delusional. Yes they can come with mosfets and ecu's but they are all substandard ones, spend £10 to £35 and you will get better electronics. Ics new range is far superior in build quality and materials and their older stuff while not quite as good still has better motors, better gears, equally as good piston, cylinder and hop units. The only really bad thing on the Ics is the hop rubber isnt the best but for £5 you can get a TM or lonex bucking which is better than what comes in both makes of guns. I am saying this not as an airsofter but as someone who has over 20 years engineering experience. Yes I am not a big fan of G&Gs but that is because of the fanboyism that follows them. Good cheap first guns but after that there are so many brands that are better for same or less money. TM, Realsword, Krytac, Ics, even some classic army and G&P guns and probably and few more that I have never taken apart. I think G&G do good cheap guns so people buy the brand get some loyalty and carry on buying their brand as they start spending more.1 point -

I was using pre owned bbs the other day and I was an airsoft killing machine. Every time I shot at someone they got hit. I decided to test it on someone hiding in a thick Bush 500m away and the second BB got him right in the head (i know because I saw it through my 20x ballistic scope) You have a really good mix of heavyweight sniper ammo for long distance targets and lightweight rockets for moving targets. If real life machine guns fire combat mixes of different ammo, why shouldn't we?1 point -

Very reliable and shoots well. Will work for woodland and cqb, looks nice as well. Ticks every box and you wont get better for £200. Edit; Forgot to add the most important part which is its not a G&G combat machine.1 point -

Dannn reacted to ImTriggerHappy for a topic
You wont get a high quality gun for £200 thats a whole different ball game. The G&G you linked will be ok though for an entry level gun. Full metal gearbox is a must. If you stick to the big names then you will be ok. If you want a high quality gun double you budget and double it again for upgrades and accessories.1 point -

JBBG have been doing this for yonks BullDog aka BULL$HIT bb's actually they wasn't that bad - worst ones so far been BBGuns4Less - FireBall 0.25's f*ck me they are dire eggs shape crap think 1 in 3 or 4 fire really short (if TriggerHappy says it coz of G&G - pi$$ off ) WOOOOHOOOOOO my 2,000th post of utter $hite (damn I wish I wasn't outbidded on the "Get a Life" fleabay auction yesterday) Maybe if you had designed a fancy new CQB site You could make the floor slightly sloped with a gulley for them to run/collect into making it easier to clear up/recycle and keep the corridors main paths free of bb's Reality this would require a lot of careful planning/costs into a decent indoor arena site Alas most sites can't afford this much planning/budget as well as time to construct a false floor No doubt though there must be $hitloads of bb's need clearing after each player has fired off say 2k heck even 1k for semi only indoor cqb say - 2 teams of 20 = 40k + that is a lot of bb's rolling around and will need tidying up where do there go...... Yes you can use a HPA tank, if you remove part of the CO2 adapter it has threads for one. The Mancraft regulator is not the best IMO, when i switch to P* I might see if using a proper regulator will help.1 point -
Vfc bar battery
29 lets go reacted to Sitting Duck for a topic
should use a large nimah 8.4v battery but with a small tamiya by default (unless the small tamiya has been replaced) say 150mm x 45mm x 25mm at a guess YOU really need to check out the max battery size yourself then weigh up what your options are (probably 7.4v 25/30c lipo tbh)1 point -

Vandalism at sites
padraigthesniper reacted to Colonel Kurtz for a topic
One the marshal told me The Malls been broken into a fair few times, they've arrived in the morning to find an open door or similar. Mostly 'urban explorers', and no-ones burnt the place down yet. Most the vandalism there seems to be done by muppets during games, trying to shoot out lights etc. Also told me an amusing tale of a 'terminator' game, where the terminator spotted someone in casual clothing in the basement and shot at them. The guy ran off so the terminator followed him, and got to one the fire-escapes which was open. Their guess is it was another explorer! i chuckle at the thought of what must have gone through that guys mind when he broke into an abandoned building, walked round the first corner and encountered a very realistic looking terminator holding a rifle. Personally after escaping my first step would have been to check i hadn't traveled in time when stepping though the door...1 point -
