Tbf the hammers on those taran's are notoriously weak, so a swapped hammer isnt a bad sign and i'd say inevitable even on a new gun.

@MrWilson I was telling a friend about this site, they said they would probably come as they dont really enjoy airsoft too much anymore, anyway, they came up with a game idea for you, not sure if it's already been suggested Terrorists vs police (names are obviously changeable) The terrorists have a hostage on the top floor which cannot be killed as it's too easy. The terrorists then set themselves up on each floor, you could have as many or as little as you want on each floor, the police in this instance then go through, floor by floor clearing them out, once the terrorists are shot out, they are dead (one life). This is done all the way to the top, where the hostage is then taken by the police and they then have to go down all the floors and get the hostage to where they spawn on floor 1. Once terrorists of room 1 are taken out, they can reset at any position in floor 1 once the police are in floor 3 to avoid any confusion from respawning police. (Respawns for police are on a changing basis, I.e if the police are on floor 4, respawn is floor 3, if they are on floor 3, respawn is floor 2, this means they never find out where the next set are deploying as the terrorists respawn after the police are 2 floors above them, hopefully explained this well enough) the terrorists cannot move up and down on floors once they have been shot out. This means not everyone will deploy over the top floor in first phase, meaning it's a bit more intense per floor. Perhaps depending on numbers you could say minimum of X per floor. The police have infinite respawn in the 1st phase, but only one once the hostage is taken by them, in this phase, the terrorists of that floor, have infinite until that floor is taken in phase 2. The hostage cannot be killed but cant walk alone or fire a gun. The person "holding" the hostage or guiding through the floors can only use a pistol or shotgun. Winner is determined by how fast they complete the two phases (if they can). So there is a swap after so the terrorists become police and vice versa.

My dovetail broke, and I received the 'upgraded' replacement kit from TM today! Seems like a much better design and weighs a lot more, albeit still cast rather than proper steel... First game with mine tomorrow, after it being sat there doing nothing for a month! 😂 I've decided to use this mount, and will keep my fabricated steel one as a spare. Fitted some rail covers, Magpul VFG, and a Blue Force Vickers SAW sling. Also swapped out the fake TM rounds with real inert ones, which IMO look much better.

I've just had a thought. It hurt, but bear with me. When there are guns which are over priced, is part of the reason because they are being sold to peeps who don't necessarily have UKARA or other defence? That would explain why people would actually buy the stuff, even though it's expensive.

I present you with my thing. Many years ago, I bought a UFC G36 3.5x scoped carry handle (this scope has seen some shit, pun intended) & absolutely butchered it with a saw to remove the mounting points (a blindfolded monkey could have done better), before using epoxy to stick it to various red dot rail mounts I had 😂 In terms of it being a carry handle, I trust it about as much as a wet fart, but surprisingly it works exceptionally well as an optic. Probably one of the more ghetto things I have done for airsoft, thought I had thrown it away many moons ago! Well, here it is on my SCAR 🤣 I suppose it can sit there until I buy an optic for it... The Vector foregrip will not reside there permanently either.

Zenitco Perst4 (New Jan 2020 Model):

Here are my two MWS builds so far: Right one is a 13.5" build with a Trijicon 1-8x26 Accupower mounted with Geissele Super Precision mount, and Trijicon RM06 on a canted mount (I only use the RMR at really close distances where the hop up doesn't matter). This thing hops .43s at 2.35J and is an absolute monster. I out-range most sniper rifles at the field, and the gun is laser precise. Left one is a 7" B.A.D. build, with an EOTech EXPS2-0-GRN. Working on switching the handguard to a real steel BCM MCMR to match the BCM bolt carrier, as the Fortis rail is omega-dumb (M-LOK on the sides, keymod on the bottom, why?). All gunsmodify internals, but I'm still hammering out some of the kinks with the gun. This thing performs superbly in CQB to midrange. Let me know what you guys think!

Oil-tempered springs for the UK market, so M95, M100, M105, M110 etc. Will be the same quality as Gaurder / Modify but correctly rated and half the price. 2. Prometheus style purple bucking, again half the price 3. Mosfets (simple external ones) 4. Motors rated to 11.1v with better heat dissipation and larger brushes
