It finally arrived from China and I’ve setup a makeshift shooting range in the attic. I’ve used a Gusto box for the target with a small window in the hope that it would catch the bbs but you would need something a lot deeper than that. The BBs were bouncing back everywhere. The actual device looks solid. The front seems metal or a very sturdy plastic. The app is a bit limited. It basically just offers two modes - sequential and random. With sequential all targets pop up at once and they stay down until you have hit all or you have random mode where the targets pop up randomly (but not with a random delay). The added light is nice. We’ve switched off the lights and did some shooting. I think the app is letting the target down a bit. It should have random start delays with a beep when it starts and it should have an optional random delay with bringing up the targets (in random mode). I’ve added a close up of the target after about 50-70 hits. You can see some small dents but I recon the target will last a while. You can by replacement targets for it or you could make them yourself. They just screw into the hinge. I guess you could make the target smaller if you want. The target taught me a few things so far I am rubbish at shooting pistols (only tried with pistols so far) Fiber optic iron sights don’t do anything when it is really dark (time to buy a red dot for my aap 😉 The target needs to be recessed a lot further to catch more BBs. One target is not enough, you will need at least 3 to make it more fun (in random mode) BBs don’t survive hitting metal things, I’ve had a lot of shattered BBs lying around. Always wear Eyepro! They will come back to you but not with force.5 points

Having had a quick shoot with this back to back against the Gen 4, everything just feels a little tighter on the 5th Gen. How much of that is down to it being brand new is a fair question, but the 4th Gen has only been gamed about 5 or 6 times. Trigger feels better, racking is more positive. Blowback feels different but it's hard to put my finger on exactly how. It feels slightly stronger but like the slide doesn't travel as far (which clearly can't be the case, but...). The grey slight two tone effect looks good as does the curvature of the front end. The mags also have a baseplate that is more rounded and have returned to having the gas nozzle covered by the baseplate rather than exposed. The inside of the front outer barrel has more visible rifling too. My Surefire x300 is a lot tighter fit so perhaps very slight dimensional changes, but it all still fits in the holster fine. Looking forward to an improvement in the weather and a chance to use it in game.5 points

So am I like the only person that actually asks for proof of defense for the stuff i sell? Also how is this thread still going. Just Cos goes against the the defense that was hard won and completely undermines the airsoft industry's ability to prove it can self regulate by selling RIFs to anyone and is a wonderful piece of ammunition for any pollical group who feel the need to go after airsoft.4 points

I've been banned from shooting in the house. I can't complain though as I managed to scare the shit out of the neighbour's wannabe gangster kids. I won a competition for Heston Blumenthal to cook at my house using only ingredients I had at home. It was amazing, we had a fantastic Vietnamese coconut curry with lime and coriander foam, mint and teatree jelly, cocoa shea butter sabayon and finished with a frozen lemon and ginseng tea. In the morning the wife said all her toiletries had gone and one of the cats was missing.3 points -

I've had maybe 3 or 4 members insist on some form of defence, initially adamant about ukara, but instead was able put together enough relevant info, as well as proof of an extensive rif armoury that shows that there's no criminality involved by adding to the collection. Obviously claims of "brand new" etc need to be taken with a pinch of salt, after all @avenger63 claims nearly everything he sells is new😏, which we know is bs. But looking at the seller, feedback, post count, & most importantly post content, can give you an idea of the type of person your dealing with, whether its a commited knowledgeable player or a surly know nothing chav will definitely be an indicator of the quality of kit their selling, & if their claims are to be believed.2 points

As per the title, this is not a piece which has been bashed around an Airsoft site. Because of this it's in excellent all-round condition. Nit-picking you'd notice minor paint wear on the rear sight. Nothing else stands out as I look over it, but I've taken photos from a variety of angles in natural lighting, so the potential buyer can see for themselves. Please note, this was previously listed with real walnut grips included. That is no-longer the case, this will now come with its original plastic ones. The price has been lowered to reflect this. I believe these really are the pinnacle of Airsoft revolvers. My understanding is that the frame is made from metal and barrel from plastic but honestly, the finish is of such high quality, I couldn't even say for sure what's what when holding it. Holds 14 rounds, so definitely skirmishable if you're so inclined. In that environment it would definitely make up for anything it's lacking in range and accuracy, by the sheer awesomeness of getting kills with a revolver. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please PM any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.£180

Effort is clearly an issue for you, like making the effort to play a site 3 times in no less than 56 days, not exactly difficult though ? (Unless your like me & for a long time couldn't find a site I liked enough to commit to🤔) Surely the downside to your cosplay defence is you're restricted to the limited number of retailers that accept it, & potentially screwed over on the price, compared to the relative ease of EVERY retailer accepting ukara, allowing you to shop around . Also, what's the situation on importing rifs on a cosplay defense.1 point

I recently purchased an EMG Noveske N4. My local store does not stock this. Occasionally, I see similar rifs listed here and my past experiences buying and selling rifs through this platform have been positive. However, I'm cautious with ads claiming the item is 'brand new,' 'never skirmished,' or 'used only in the garden,' especially when the asking price is nearly identical to a new item's cost. I prefer purchasing from retailers, so I can try them out, with the option to return if unsatisfied. Also with the added security provided by my credit card and to avoid the hassle of resolving issues with second-hand rifs not being as described. This forum is great for many things, like advice, selling and buying, dragging out threads over 6 pages from a simple question but you have very little protection over sales, other than paypal.1 point

Selling of my PKP just due to it not being used and wanting to fund other hobbies. I've had the gun for the better part of 6 years as I got this when they first released with this being serial number 94 it was part of the first batch LCT made. Since I've had it the gun has been used a fair bit but I have always looked after it and not let it rust. Last year I put this in to KOA for some upgrades and spent the better part of £500 on it. It now has- Warhead brushless motor Gate Warfet New micro switch Gearbox machined out to use 9mm bushes SHS Steel gearset Modify Quantum Titanium tooth piston Laylax tappet plate Prommy purple hop rubber Magazine+Gun rewired Since these bits have gone in to the gun it has only been used once as I have moved over to using gas guns more than my big support weapons. Looking for £1000 I am open to sensible offer and am happy to post it anywhere in the UK for £10 postage due to the gun weighing about 11kg.£1,000

How the fuck is this thread 6 pages deep From my reading it seems superwok is a quite decent person and has his head screwed on and doesn't seem the sort of person who wants a black gun to cause mischief with and the majority of his replies have been quite mature, sure he used a system no one agrees with but in the end it's the retailer who is selling guns to people under this made up system I know we fought for the defence, being a player of 20+ years in the hobby I'm a pre vcra player and remember how our hobby was in danger of being sacked off so I understand the argument But being someone who has bought and sold over 700 airsoft guns in my time in this hobby, I can only think of a handful of times anyone on this forum in private sales has asked me for a defence I can guarantee I could message someone selling a gun and offer to pay up right away and won't be asked for a defence 🤷🏻♂️ Just seems a bit of a joke how we can be so hell bent on making sure retailers follow the rules to a T but second hand sales it's do as you like? Am I wrong?1 point -

If you have a bitter taste in your mouth because you feel as if you earn a UKARA because you play so often then take it up with the retailers. I have been playing airsoft for just over 10 years now, In my 20's I could go every week but not so much now, so to it from the other side, I see it as a punishment that I cannot buy a new rif because I haven't been able to play as much as I used to, to keep an active UKARA1 point

Recommend me a speed loader
Enid_Puceflange reacted to Impulse for a topic
He probably is. The problem is that GBBR magazines are heavy and only carry 35 BBs each, so you can load up with them and still need more ammo. I carry 9 MWS mags for my setup, but that's still only 315 BBs total (and weighs a tonne!). I just use a small speedloader, a bag of BBs and a 3d printed adapter that clips on top of the mag. Got one for my MWS mags and one for my AKM mags and they work really well.1 point -
