  4. Something very confusing to me, my M14 EBR suddenly had a malfunction, the cycle and fire us normal, but it could not shoot BBs, and I found that the valve did not shoot gas in forward, after I disassemble and assemble again, the malfunction was fixed. The valve was NPAS. By the way, A friend of mine in a red robe gave an incense burner and some purity seals, and suggest that I need to praise the Omnissiah. But I want to solve this problem once and for all.

  11. I suspect he's making vids for posterity, so yeah - at least two cameras and possibly one on his aging father who can get his way round an airsoft field pretty quickly for a big fella. Next time you're in Akihabara @son of dan, look in some second hand shops for GoPro 5's and above - or any native similar ones. You won't get stiffed like you did here on eBay. Ther ewas an awesome looking second-hand camera shop on the walk from the station to the TamTam shop - on the left side of the road. Not sure if they'd do that kind of camera - but there would be other's I'm sure. Might make a nice day out with Jiji?

  12. Start with a basic action camera, then learn what works for you. GoPro carries the name, and does have the right features and specs which come with the price to go with them Alternative action cameras are up to the job - all in recent years exceed the ‘quality’ of anything you would be showing them at - YouTube etc Old YouTube footage from 15 to 10 years ago which looks like it was filmed with a potato gets highlighted with much nostalgia value and You are dependant on the sensor and chip set. If you’re going in and out of buildings then the ‘better’ cameras will cope better with the change in light conditions - but anything current should cope in a reasonable time frame Most important is what you want to do with footage. Are you making a full film of all your awesome actions, telling the story of your day? Are you making a click bait kill cam video? Are you making training feedback footage to review what happened? Or do you just want to film some stuff and see what you get? The ‘best’ footage is of multiple angles - but means lots more editing. eg barrel cam - which mostly shows the ground and air, but gives shooting footage Reverse barrel cam - films you Sight cam - which gives zoomed in ground and air Head cam - which shows where you were looking, but can make people sick when you keep looking left, right etc, and will also show the tree or brick wall that you were hiding behind Body cam - similar to head cam without the left/right twitching but more bouncy (check the stablisation specs) Back cam - Strap a pole to your vest and mount a camera that films a 3rd person view Combine a few of those and you can edit a story - for the extra cost of multiple cameras and mounts plus edit time Alternatively forget all of those, get a generic action camera with case and an assortment of mounts. Try it in different positions and see what you get Note that a scope camera is ‘better’ when accompanied by another camera giving a wider view

** As I need these things gone, I have reduced the price by £100 for £850 down to an amazingly cheap £750. ** Here we have my pride and joy - It is a Tokyo Marui MWS built into a Taran Tactical TTR1 using the Angry Gun John Wick Conversion Kit. The Angry Gun John Wick conversion kits were very rare when you could get them and extortionately priced, by the time they were shipped to the uk they were around £900. It is built around a brand new Tokyo Marui MWS Block 1 and internally it is stock MWS apart from a Modify Tan Bucking and a Layla Prometheus 370mm 6.03 barrel (the original 350mm TM Barrel is also included) and an Angry Gun NPAS so it can be used as a DMR or as a general assault rifle. The fire selection mechanism is currently unmodified so it will fire both single shot and full auto. There are also several upgrades including genuine Strike Industries Straight Trigger and Forward Assist Button, genuine BCM Pistol Grip and Foregrip. It is fitted with a Vision King 1.25 - 5 x 26 Scope with illuminated reticule. The reticule colour can be set tor Red or Blue and has multiple brightness settings. It is fitted to the Rifle with a genuine Giselle Scope mount (stupid expensive for what they are). The TTR1 comes with one full size gas tight TM MWS Magazine and has had the gas tube mod done. Please no silly offers. I am open to offers but if you try to swap it for a Springer Pistol, I will try to be polite but can't promise anything 😊 Due to the price and size, this is a collection only. I am happy for you to arrange your own courier but it is at your risk.

  15. I’ve owned a few airsoft guns over the years (M4, Glock 17, Sig P226), all being two-tones used for garden plinking. Either way, i should be attending my first airsoft game for the first time in a few weeks or so. I’ve got a real basic taste in firearms. I love Glocks, AR-pattern rifles and AK-pattern rifles. If it’s permissible, my dress style will be closer to militiaman than soldier or anything like that. So hi.

  16. Thanks, I’ve already damaged by hearing during my army days. Have been living with a tinitus for the last 30 years. So I know how damaging loud bangs can be, that’s why I wanted to check at what price level you can get decent protection.

  17. A lot of the cheaper headsets do not have noise cancellation/reduction capability and are communication devices only and are powered through the PTT and radio so you need to be careful what you're buying. Almost got done by someone selling a cheap headset as a more expensive noise-cancelling version. You only get one set of ears. Are you willing to risk damage to them for the sake of <£100? I keep an eye on used markets waiting for a "cheap" pair of comtacs to turn up that people miss and I can snipe.

  18. From the sounds of what you’re looking for, I’d say Earmors are the least of what you’d want. Depends how much you value your hearing but I don’t think I’d trust a £20-30 headset.

  19. Afaik isnt it a holdover from it being a p90 box? G&g with the version 6 box Theres a lug with a screw on the bottom of the gearbox about where the fill hatch of a hicap mag is. Fine if your using hicaps or g&g's special midcaps with a hole in them but a regular mid cap mag with a flat top wont seat properly. But easy to cutoff the tab and it'll take regular mags.

  20. For some reason the photo graph won't load for me. While I can't offer any specifics without looking at the graph, I can add some general knowledge: PME is governed by all aspects of mechanical resistance, including those not often discussed. For example, a stickier lube/grease in your cylinder creates more friction between your piston o-ring and the cylinder, lowering the PME threshold. Heavier BBs will do this also, as they create more mechanical resistance. This is because a heavier a BB requires more energy to accelerate, hence why air volume ratios are very important. The more mechanical energy the BB requires to move forward, the more pressurized air builds up behind it before it breaks over the hop nub, the more resistance is applied to the piston's forward path. The curve is actually quite steep--a build could have no PME on .20g but suffer mild PME using .25g and heavy PME with .30g-.32g. This is far more prevalent in DSGs, where the cycle is shorter, the timing is stricter, and the piston is moving faster (resistance increase on an exponential curve relative to velocity). Hop packings also affect PME threshold. An off-spec hop packing can be slightly too tight, causing more resistance and lower the threshold. Off-spec BBs do the same thing. You can raise the PME threshold by using a cylinder with a smaller effective volume (porting farther forwards). This allows the piston more time to gain momentum before experiencing air mechanical resistance, effectively increasing piston speed, which increases air pressure, increasing FPS in some cases and increasing efficiency/consistency. A wider inner barrel and wider nozzle will also raise the PME threshold. The same applies for the drivetrain side of things--a more efficient electrical setup with less resistance leads to a faster rate of fire which leads to a lower PME threshold for a certain setup, irrelevant to gear ratio, spring weight, etc. So, ironically, a better setup here leads to a lower PME threshold. This goes for how thick your grease is, how well the gears are shimmed (truly bad shimming where extra resistance is caused, not just noisy shimming), and other factors like gear meshing. Contrary to popular belief, polishing your gearbox around the gears to reduce resistance does nothing. It's actually really silly, since the gears should never contact anything but themselves, the piston teeth, and the bushings/bearings.

It started off life as a Cybergun Mk46, then I changed the hanguard to an early M249 one that fits more securely, a shorter flash hider again from a Mk1 M249 and also swapped the Mk46 stock for the para style stock bought from BespokeAirsoft. It has a working box mag supplied, and the only con is that one of the stock pins does not have a nut on the end, but new pin sets can be bought, I just haven't replaced yet I as I haven't actually ever fielded the 249, just taken it along to get Chrono'd. I would happily entertain any swaps as well Due to the size of the gun, I'd much prefer to have it collected in person, from Dorset, but if absolutely necessary shipping can be arranged for extra

  22. As a sterilised "one motor manufacturer, one spring manufacturer, one gun built by one good tech and tested with one brand/weight of bb's" chart it certainly has the expected form. Of course there will be complications: -A taller gear ratio will move the curve to the right, likewise a shorter gear ratio will move it to the left -Short stroking (with the appropriate increase in spring strength) will shrink the pme zone -a higher voltage battery will move the curve to the right, lower to the left -a heavier piston setup will expand the pme zone -any sub optimal build that adds friction will move the curve to the left Heavier ammo is a curious one, intuitively it should expand the pme zone although by how much isnt something i could comment on, it could well be insignificant. As for individual motors, well a strong neo motor in good order isn't going to be placed in the same spot as a knackered ferrite motor even if they have the same nominal tpa. All that said, its still a useful illustrative tool for where the ballpark is.

  32. Both. Single viewpoint videos are dull as fuck. That said, it entirely depends on your budget. GoPro and RunCam are the obvious options but there's plenty of reasonable, cheap Chinese knock offs out there that will give you footage, albeit with the image stabilisation of a 5 year old GoPro.

  41. Definitely, I tend to cross-reference a selection of vids from a broad spectrum of producers, as well as looking for old skool written reviews, which unfortunately are getting few & far between these days, & finally even the likes of amazon type reviews just to be sure. Even then you may end up with a bit of kit that works for someone else but doesn't suit you, but at least you can say you tried, instead of relying on the opinion of a paid tosspot or a 12yo "operator" 🤣 Ain't that the truth, I was infantry, trained hard like mofo, but did nothing of note outside of the UK & Germany, so you'll never hear me claiming to be a war hero, but first time I attended a paintball event as a civvy didn't stop me feeling slightly superior than my non serving work colleagues, I say that, there was one other guy there who was a former fusilqueer, & his bro in law also ex rgj, so between we thought we were gonna dominate that shit. Whistle went & the 3 of us were off like greyhounds intent on seizing the tactical high ground etc.............. Yes, it was a very painful life lesson in humility, which we laughed about later, once the dozens of donut shaped welts stopped stinging🤕

He's an odious racist and sexist - his latest antic being to doxx a female Marshall at one of the First and Only sites. He's just all round a horrible human being with dodgy views. TM MP5 NGRS Owners

FINALLY got my hands on an MP5 and four spare mags. Found a solution for mounting a scout light which works really well, and allows use of the original TM forend for maximum battery space. The claw mount is the wide TM version. You can mount an optic towards the back, with room to spare for a Surefire offset mount in front of it. The Scout light is long enough that shadowing isn’t an issue, but short enough that ambidextrous handling is still possible without having to change the forend and use a vertical grip. Pressure switch is just taped neatly on the top, as I like to shoot thumb over bore / C-clamp. Got a night game coming up soon and can’t wait to try her out. The suppressor is the TM pro tracer, attached to the adapter which comes in the box with the MP5. Looks good enough for me.
