    G&g ssg1

Did someone mention dropstocks?....😜 As a paintball goggle wearer myself, half my guns now sport drop-stock adapters that I designed and 3D printed. I know some people hate 'em, but they are very practical. The SSG1 is pretty expensive for what you get and it's very much intended for Speedsoft/CQB play. That's not to say it won't perform just fine at woodland distances, but a DMR platform it is not.

  2. Today I saw a car bumper sticker that said "I'm a veterinarian that's why I drive like an animal". It made me realise how many gynaecologists there must be on the roads

    New to Airsoft

Hi peeps, I'm looking into airsoft after seeing an m4 platform for sale at a market on Sunday. I'm from South Africa but living in the North West. Have interested in and been around guns and shooting forever, from school shooting team to carrying a .45 for self defence. I've shot most of the common platforms, loved the M4 due to its carry and shoot all day weight, unlike the FAL which is a right metal pig but hits hard. Played quite a bit of paintball back in the day, but after seeing how stunning some of these replicas are and the fun folks are having on YouTube ima dip my toe in at my local Airsoft range. I think I'm sold on a used Cyma or even Specna as they seem excellent quality for the price, ...any other suggestions are welcome for an accurate and reliable full metal M4 type CQB and general outdoors?? Cheers Scott

  4. Yeah I going to cycle more as my main thing and do basic exercises at home with few weights. I seen the doctor today he said my knee is the shape of someone who 60+ I am only 36 lol. The gap in my knee I have pretty big for my age and now I need MRI next to get a better look what going on He said no running at all for now and maybe never.

  5. Hi folks, This is a project I started gathering bits for much earlier in the year, had the fitting and machining work. Have now used it twice at games and it's just not for me in terms of the ergonomics and general controls/manipulation. What I'd affectionately call 'doing a Dave', those that know... know (a degree of irony given he's the one that did the work). Certainly in no major rush to be rid of it, but it's a bit too much cash tied up for a wall hanger for me. I'll list everything in detail below, emphasis on detail. Base RIF: E&L AKS74U Tactical MOD C Platinum (bought from new) Externals: Genuine ZenitCo B-11U Handguard (machined to fit with no play or wobble) Genuine ZenitCo B-19N Upper Rail Genuine ZenitCo PK-6 Hand Stop Genuine ZenitCo B-18 Optic Rail Genuine ZenitCo B-2 and B-2L Rail Segments (1 of each) Genuine ZenitCo NPN-2 Rail Covers (2x desert, 2x black) Genuine ZenitCo A-2L Sling Mount Genuine ZenitCo RP-1 Charging Handle Extension (machined to fit without play or wobble) TWI DTK-2 Compensator (machined to fit with proper timing, some wear on the trades) 5KU PBS-1 Mini Suppressor Unkown Brand Repro US Palm Grip (machined to fit with no play or wobble) Unknown Brand 'Tactical Selector' (likely Cyma but not certain) Internals: ASG U-22000 Motor (motor cage modified to accept) Lonex Helical Bevel Set SHS 13:1 Gear Set PhosBro Bushings Stock E&L piston LPE Piston Head Lonex Cylinder Head Airlab Sorbo Pad (modified to volume) Stock E&L nozzle Prometheus Cylinder Guarder SP110 Spring (2.5 coils removed) E&L Spring Guide E&L Tappet Plate Gate Titan Mosfet Trigger Short Stroked ZCI Hop Unit (hop arm r-hop modded) Prometheus 6.03 245mm barrel (machined to accept r-hop) SixG Silicone R-Nub Promethus Purple Bucking Stock parts which have been swapped out are all present bar the bevel gear which was donated to someone in need. FPS wise it's 340 on a 0.2gs BB with a variation of +/- 3, ROF is sitting at 16RPS on a 7.4v LiPo. Currently set up to be running 0.28g BBs. Will come with the stock mag and 6 Cyma mags which have been modified to fit. I've probably put about 500 rounds through it, it is noted that the r-hop will take around 2000 rounds to fully settle. Pictures below, note that the optic and sling aren't included in the sale. More than aware I'm going to lose a significant amount based on what it cost to put together, the regular formula lands me around the £800 inlcuding fees and postage mark. If buyer wanted to collect they'd be welcome to some batteries. It's a niche build, with a high price tag and expect it won't go particularly quickly... but does that pricing seem reasonable? I'm aware I could shift it quicker should I, at the very least, removed the ZenitCo bits and sell it largely as stock E&L externally with jazzed up internals. But as noted a few times, really not in a mad rush to part with it... just know I want to part with it. TIA, Alex

Welcome Scott, Sounds like you have a good plan to start at your local site 👍 Yes, CYMA and Specna are good makes. Be careful buying second hand because its quite common for people to modify their guns and often mess them up so they sell them instead. Beware of sales with 'upgraded' in the description unless you can validate them. Best thing to do now is read lots of the posts on the forum because most questions have already been answered and there may be things you haven't thought of yet.

    THE TM MWS thread

Read back, if you want a MK18, buy a CQBR and fit a MK18 rail kit. Dont get the TM MK18.

  15. Yeah the scammers are becoming a problem. i posted two adds this year and got a scammer all over it within a few hours. one somehow lacking the know how to operate a camera and a computer while the other seemingly thought i wouldnt check that he stolen and photoshopped the image of a "thing" he has to sell but will only go through email seriously? i hate been boxed in and having people message me through email.. who even still does this anyway? also why? its pretty annoying and extremely uncomfortable

  16. Nobody has anything good to say about the Smc9. In fact owning one makes you sub human. Get rid of it quickly. Even if you cannot find someone stupid enough to take it off your hands just burn it and bury as far away from you as possible before it turns you into a potato 🥔.

  17. to be honest I'm not going to chase UPS, as I have a account with them for work. If they get around to sending an invoice then I'll pay but I don't think that will happen as the time spent by UPS sorting it all out will outway the actual amount. I spoke to Pawel from TWG quite a bit during thr lost/delayed parcel saga and he is quite happy as he got a full refund. Just to recap on the whole thing: Taiwangun were really good Parcel force were good but slow (staff shortages are pretty well documented in Parcel Force in the media currently) UPS were terrible. UPS support wasn't very helpful and continued to promise updates that they never delivered. Am I going to chase UPS just to give them money when I used up all my patience chasing them to sort out my delivery. well no is the simple answer.

  19. CYMA CM.123 AEP. I mean... it works, as advertised. BBs come out at a very consistent 0.37J or so, but it's thiccer than a Brazilian bum implant convention, more front heavy than the Boob Job Con next door, and the trigger feels about as rubbery as the off-cuts left in the shared dumpsters afterwards. I was going somewhere with this, but I got kind of lost in the analogy.
