Not speedsoft....honestly! I've been modelling a real steel B&T Visor/Gas Mask Stock for a G36 using pictures as a reference. Not sure if I'll actually make this one (although it's dimensionally accurate to TM spec guns), but it's been fun to model nonetheless. RS references:

A quick and nasty print to test fitment - 0.30 layer height (accidentally left the upper and lower skin thickness at 0.12 which also doesn't help) and a very low infill leaving a rough finish. Fitment was damned near perfect - just needed the hinge holes opening up a little and a relief hole drilled for the gearbox screw that protrudes a little. Test print was done in two halves then glued - I'm considering creating a channel for a bent steel rod to be sandwiched between the halves for reinforcement before epoxying them together. The final print would be done at 100% infill with a much smaller layer height (around 0.12mm) to smooth things out. Haven't worked out the rear (sliding) bit yet - probably an aluminium tube and 3D printed bushing and stock pad. I'll probably not bother with a sprung button mechanism, rather glue the metal button in place and have it non-folding. Real Steel: Yes, it's ugly. But I like it. Very popular with French and German Police forces - they also use them on MP5s and I've never seen one on an Airsoft gun.

A great day last Sunday where the only negative was one incident on the second game. A player was shot after calling a hit and decided the best action was to start spraying people with his speedyboi drum mag hpa pistol. This was infront of multiple witnesses (including staff) so was given the boot. The bit that makes me laugh though is that the whole group left with one complaining its not fair as someone else had done similar in the past and didn't get banned. This turned out to be a blessing though as after that group left the standard of play went right up

I’m not a brand snob, all I want is a GBBR AK with reasonably priced reasonably easy to get hold of mags. At the moment neither GHK or Marui are able to manage this so I’ll stick to my MWS M4.

First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a “fan boy”. I don’t know why folks get a hard on by using that phrase as an insult. I love TM. And what. Secondly. I bought it with my own money. Even if I was gifted an item, I thoroughly test said products and reveal all and any issues surrounding that particular unit. If you happened to have caught any of my videos where I was given free items you’d know that. Reviewers aren’t all alike you know. Thirdly. One of my AK mags struggled to take on enough gas to produce results which I was expecting. My other mags seem to have a better appetite and produce the performance I was looking for. This is a prime opportunity to test out varying levels of the Green Gas Mod to get the best out of that troubled magazine. Also remember that’s not a review. Overview containing my opening impressions on it. I’m still building experience with their latest AKM, and I’ll be making the review once I’ve grasped a good understanding of it. It’s a constantly evolving process that never ends. Reason why I’ve revisited the M4 MWS a few times over the years with its progress.

I'm actually quite impressed with mine, I wanted to dislike it, ended up buying one. My hop rubber was greasy. It's not blued but most russian AKM variants aren't. I'm fitting a GP25 later so I'll see how that goes, and it needs some actual tree fitting to it, but the faux wood is not bad. I've a 90s ultradot on it, and it's shooting really nicely on 0.25s (some cqb sites have a 0.25 limit near me) I'd spent the morning at a militaria fair fondling de act AKs, Type 56s and all manner of variations and this is bloody close enough.

Yes… however very unlikely you’ll be able to replace the receiver with a metal one as I can’t see a third party creating one. . Once a TM always a TM no matter what upgrades you do lol

So when you replace the fake wood with real trees, and put a better metal receiver in place, is it still a TM?

New arrivals. G&G sr15 e3 mod2 knights armament and Novritsch SSG10 A3. The PEQ's 3m velcro adhesive sticker won't adhere on the rubber switch so I'm looking for ways to attach it to the top rail. Just incase the stock barrel and hop aren't up to the job (SR15) I've ordered a barrel and bucking from @ak2m4@ak2m4.

Regarding the 4.5 and 5.0 nozzles on shorter than required inner barrels. It shouldnt work: if you put a standart tm nozzle in longer barrel it gives an absurd amount of FPS but has no gas efficiency and etc. Those nozzles are adapted for longer barrels and to my knowledge they should give LESS gas output for them, so if you will put it inside SHORTER barrels then they were constructed for the gun either wont shoot, will give a low fps, could as well jam. But hey it's just words of caution, let me know your findings on this one.

@AlphaBear I can confirm that this barrel wrench, with a light tap, fits into the rail barrel nut like a dream! A quick Google brings these up for £120. Two tone reduces the price for most and not sure how the seller intends to post the £3.50 smoke. The scope adds very little value. I fear this person rather than being a "dreamer" is another victim of the BBGun.com types.

Nope. Instead of the wood sliding into the gun the gun slides into the stock. This is the one part that I really don't understand about this gun and I think marui were being obtuse.
