@Helyk can you get more vertical pistol grips for the MCX? Ive always been suprised SiG put such an angled grip on what is a close quarters gun. Got my P90 together and im back in love, shouldnt have sold my old one years back, running sweet at 22RPS / 325 FPS with perfect timing / no overrun fully mechanical on the original TM wiring! Just waiting on the Shadow Regime M-Trigger to land and i can hook it up with the WarFet I know Asomodai will respect the bullpup 😋

propane, so essentially green gas. With gas guns FPS is less important. It might be 330fps on a .20 bb, which is about 1 joule. But with a .32-.36 it could be 1.3 joules for example. Because an AEG has a fixed volume of air it tends to either keep the same energy or loose it with heavier BB’s (depending on barrel:cylinder volume ratio) unless it’s specifically built to joule creep. A gbbr is different. The heavier the BB is, the longer it’s in the barrel for, which generally means the more of the energy the gas can impart on it. It’s another reason putting a longer barrel in a gas gun can make the fps go up considerably. Longer the barrel, the longer the BB is inside of it, the more energy it absorbs. Which can be advantageous or cause cycling issues if you go too long.

So here is the latest addition to my MWS collection. 8” PDW build. As some of you will remember from the above I picked up an MTR to use the ambi lower in my competition gun. This is what I did with the bits I had left. Its the MTR upper receiver (I wanted the forward assist on my competition gun) with a regular MWS lower a guarder front end kit and a G&P PDW stock. Still a few bits to sort. NPAS is on order and I managed to bugger up the bolt catch due to my own clumsiness so trigger box will have to come out once the new one arrives, but other than that I’m quite pleased with it.

It's a relatively new channel dedicated to doing methodical and scientifically sound reviews of airsoft replicas. If you ask me, they are quickly becoming the gold standard in how airsoft guns should be reviewed. Anyway, they just hit a homerun with their newest review of no other than the Tokyo Marui MWS. An absolute must watch for all followers of this thread! And if you ask me, the go-to review of the MWS (with BadaBing's being a very close second).

for a cyma i'd be saying more likely air seal giving low/inconsistent fps. the stock hop unit/barrel are ok, maybe switch to the usual ml macaron+omega and stuff some heavier ammo. last cyma i worked on hadn't much trouble lifting .3's at 1j after some air seal work and fixing a shoddy downgrade (where they take a biro pen clicker spring instead of an actual aeg spring) you wanna go baller then combat union.

Which will then lead on to gearbox upgrades , which then leads on to a motor upgrade , which then leads on to hop upgrades , which THEN traps you in never ending hell of ‘triggers broom’ ! 😱😈

First game back today and it was fun ! My take on a BHD ranger , yes I know that colour of BDU’s is much later but I couldn’t find my period correct ones ! 🤦‍♂️ and just for Shits’n’giggles me and my bud taking a breather on patrol in the ‘Mog’ 😂😂

Plenty of people can tell you how it feels to their body type, and they can tell you how it looks in their opinion - but really it's just down to you. Buy stuff, make mistakes, and learn from them. End of the day, it's Airsoft, it is something we enjoy and it isn't life or death so it really comes down to two things; A) Does it feel good? B) Does it look good? We dress up all fancy and play soldiers so looks is definitely a factor 😎 Feel cool wearing it. So plate carrier, chest webbing, battle belt - whatever you like 😎

Indoor hi capas rule. I can only speak from Kirkby experience but there was no situation where I felt outgunned with a pistol over a team of guys with AEG ARs

Didn't realise Hells had an upper ammo limit. I know The Dept do which is why I won't run higher than a .25 indoors (so I can set my guns up and leave them knowing they'll be fine wherever). I even offloaded my AAP yesterday as I just CBA with it and I am constantly finding myself preferring my capas. Happy days as the cash covers the outlay for the 4.3 Battlecat leftover parts.

What do you mean its certainly not green gas i've managed to shoot with green gas angry gun v2 nozzle with npas and all other stock internals to maximum 443fps. I ve set my npas for mtr to shoot on 350-360fps with all other stock so it is really doable, also i am reaching 60m with 0.3g bbs with no problems too, i am still waiting for m4 wrench to change the inner barrel and hop up buckings to ML to see whether there is any increase in power/accuracy and range but i seriously have no doubt there will be

Well I couldn't wait any longer. After selling my unused Raven 1911 bundle to a mate I decided it was time. Firesupport now have my monies. TM 4.3 Hi Capa in black and 2 spare TM mags. Considered getting some WE ones from Patrol base but then the additional postage made it near pointless. Can't wait to test it out at Hells Airsoft. Was also considering trying pistol only for a little bit the next time I goto Anzio, maybe borrow a shotgun off my mate as a back up!

I'm sure there used to be a "what have you 3D printed" page.....anyway, Tired of swapping chest rigs over when you switch AEG platforms?, fed up of moving pouches on and off your plate carrier when you switch from an M4 to a MP7. Well I know I was so I knocked these up. Slides into the M4 pouches easily and holds 2 mags each. The mags are held securely so when you remove one the other one isn't flapping about inside the pouch and falling out when you bend over. Right now I've got designs for TM MP7 GBB, AEG Kriss Vector and the ARP 9. I'll probably add the MP5 style mags next.

Can I recommend Laser Eye surgery... I've been a glasses wear all my life and know the pain and issues it causes for sport/activites/motorbikes etc.. Since I had mine done years ago, it was the best decision I ever took...life was so different afterwards. A worthy investment. Oh my mate got all BFG's banned at our local site.. He ran at a barricade with his TRMR Magflash, hoping to give the people on the other side the good news....he tripped over a log, went down...chinned himself in the face with his ARP and set off the TRMR in his hand, which at this point was next to his face. His gloves melted through, burning his hand and he took a 2" gash out of his chin, blood everywhere.....burnt the hairs of his beard on one side of his face.. He was pretty messed up. When @ Hospital getting his chin glued and hand seen too, he told the nurses he tripped on his grenade. Plod showed up soon after!! After questioning him..they just told him to throw the grenade next time..lol HSE were then informed by the Plod (I assume) and they visited the site owner....and now all PYRO other than disposables are Banned. He always gets shit for this when we are there...lol

Picked up this G&P Magpul M4 with a locked up gearbox/trigger and missing stock and stock tube. Snagged it for 50 quid! Completely stock but with Magpul receiver, Pistol grip, handguard and foregrip. Do you guys think it's Foliage Green or Olive Drab? I am thinking the former myself. Cracked it open, seems that the cocking lever spring has been overstretched so the bolt cover won't spring back as it should. The selector plate was broken in half. One of the gearbox shell screws was overtightened and I had to drill it out. In the gearbox I found the spur gear shaft completely sheared off and the motor pinion well worn. Replaced the spur gear, Air seal was OK, but I switched out the full cylinder for a 4/5ths as well as a new piston and cylinder head (which had to be modified to fit the gearbox protrusions) Seems to be working OK if a little bit tight sounding. Going to grab some parts from AK2M4 to get her really purring, as well as a stock tube and stock. The intention is to have a full set of M4A1 and Magpul furniture to switch between. I had about three games with my 416 last year, running .25s and it was fine. Really accurate too. Like you I do want to move to heavier BBs, maybe up to .32s but, after hearing from the guys on here who are far more experienced with the NGRS platform than I am, I'm not going to rush in. If I still feel like tinkering, I'll maybe look at the hop rubber and possibly barrel. It was good to be reminded of why I bought a TM in the first place, and why would I pay extra to alter or replace all the stuff that makes them so good in the first place?

My cold weather backup is a can of Nuprol 4.0. The MWS runs brilliantly on black gas on stock internals in the cold. If it’s too cold for the MWS to work well on black gas then it’s too cold for me to want to play.....

I have trouble lifting .4g BBs. While .36g it can lift easily. I have over 10 clicks left when it lifts.36 When I screw I can see that the hopup, comes down further as it should and eventually it actually ends up with BBs getting stuck, so the house works as it "should" except that i can not get it to lift above .36g I have tried different types of hopup rubber, ML autoboot and MR both 60 degrees and org. . ML flat nub and now orginal nub with cord inside the hole, the problem is not that it can not press hard enough, but that it does not grip the bb enough. I've made a lot of weapons so I'm not new to the game, but this I can not figure this out? Joule approx 1.6-1.9 Any suggestions? I have looked at another hopup house and here Laylax Custom Hop-up Chamber looks most interesting, does anyone have experience with it?
